This dancing Grandpa and his wacky tools are ready for fun and projects in the workshop! Grandpa needs help identifying tools, measuring, cutting wood, spotting differences, painting furniture, repairing broken items, and even building an awesome kids’ clubhouse! The game includes eight action-packed mini-games loaded with educational content (number groups, measuring, fractions, colors, observation, spatial relationships) and videos of real tools in action! Ages 3-7.

EIGHT ACTION-PACKED MINI-GAMES!
1. Spot the Difference. One of those tricky tools is sillier than usual... can you spot the one that is different?
2. Board Fractions. Let's cut the board into halves, thirds, or quarters and count how many pieces we have!
3. Measuring. Zippy the tape measure is stretched out so that you can measure the board! How long is it?
4. Select the Tool. Grandpa needs a screwdriver to finish this project. Can you hand it to him?
5. Number Groups. We'll need 4 springs to finish up this project... which jar has 4 springs?
6. Puzzle Fix-Up. Oh no! Grandma's plate is broken! Let's piece it back together.
7. Paint the Project. Grandpa just built this stool... what color will you paint it?
8. Match the Tools. Can you help Grandpa match up the paint brushes and screwdrivers?

More education but also great!!!
I think you should put different grade levels in this game because my brother is in second grade and he says it’s boring because he knows everything and he isn’t learning. I would really like if you would put grade levels on but this game is also great!!!

Very well done
Very happy with this app. My son loves it, and he's actually learning (I think!!). Grandpa and Grandma are very cute. There are about 8 activities to do, which are pretty standard - painting wood, sawing wood, repairing broken items, counting, spotting the difference, etc. My absolute favorite, which is what I think makes this app really stand out, are the short videos that show actual tools being used, with narration that is very informative for little kids. And my son LOVES seeing grandpa dance and giving him a high-five. Also very cool that as the child finishes a set of activities, "grandpa" builds more and more of his playhouse. Very rewarding for kids.

I've had an iPhone for 4 years and this the first review I've ever written. This is such a clever education game... So engaging for a child...and PS...I love it too!!!!!! Oooh! Ya diddit! And the high five...awesome!! PLEASE MAKE MORE!!! More levels and content...clubhouse expansion...grandma's game is awesome too! Where's the crazy uncles?! MORE. MORE. MORE!!!!! We'll pay more. More. More. Lol. Visually impaired first grader can easily see and interact with the app...he's building confidence and learning and loving it. Thank you.

Wonderful!
The kids' dad is NOT handy. But this Grandpa has shown my children what tools do what and has been great fun! Hard to get them off the iPad. I wish it had more short videos of a larger variety of tools in use, and some new puzzles and activities, but the children seem to like all the activities it does have over and over again.

Only one level?
I bought this for my ( year old granddaughter Tuesday at 2:00 after many requests and "puleeeze"s. By 2:30 she had played the game all the way through twice and was quick to point out that the tasks were exactly the same the second time and so were the responses. "When will it get harder, Grandma? she asked, so I encouraged her to play it a third time. When I checked on her ten minutes later she was coloring. "That game is boring grandma, she said. You should give it back."
Is there a way to trigger a Level 2 or 3? For $2.99 I'd expect that.

Entertaining-ish
Bought this for my 4 year old. He loved it in the beginning, but after 15-20 minutes of playing it was all the same mini games all the same videos. Needs more of a variety. I probably wouldn't have purchased this had I known he would complete all the games in such a short amount of time. The game doesn't have enough to offer.
Very cute graphics though and wonderful idea. His favorite part is seeing the grandma make an appearance after doing the puzzles.

One of the best preschool aps
I am currently homeschooling my twin toddlers and this application hits on age appropriate, challenging concepts for my sons in a fun way. They love the sounds and graphics and get a thrill out of high five-ing grandpa. I love that they are practicing math skills that reinforce what I'm teaching them at home. Also the makers have a support function. Within minutes they had responded to and resolved my issue I had.

Great app!!
Great app! My 3yr old son absolutely loves it! Much more "realistic" of a learning app. Then what some of the builder kids shows provide. Focus's more on actually showing videos of how tools are used and such. Very cool! Great app! Own all the grandma apps as well. You should consider making more grandpa ones, maybe one that focuses on cars and repairs or something... Keep up the great work ! :)

Great app, one
My daughter was having a great, five star worthy time with this until the clubhouse was done and the app announced brightly, "Boys only!" because she'd picked a blue sign over a pink one(and couldn't read what the sign said). However, I contacted the devs, they responded fast and said they'd look into it. Other than this, would recommend it.
