Please Fix Aspect Ratio!
Downloaded the game for the new, ‘iPhone 12 Mini’ most songs work great and so does the navigation menus, however there are instances where the screen of the iPhone 13 Mini cuts off certain notes during songs due to the smaller screen size I’m guessing? Same for the navigation menu! This results in missed notes (I physically cannot see the note to hit) and wrong inputs during navigation of the menus. Hope there is a small update patch for these small issues. Other than that, wonderful experience over all. :)

One of the Best
Groove Coaster 2 is my favorite rhythm game on the iOS store, and I haven’t found a single one that compares to the fun, immersive, and fairly forgiving gameplay, or even the awesome soundtrack available.
I honestly can’t find another game on the app store that, all puns and the first game aside, hits the same notes as Groove Coaster 2. One major factor that really sells this game to me is how it handles missed beats. Rather than kicking you out of the game after missing a few notes on a song you’ve never heard/played before, it lets you keep playing AND records a replay of your best run. This is great for players who are new to rhythm games and seasoned veterans alike as it gives you a chance to learn a song without some infuriating trial-and-error sensation. That’s not to say the game is easy, however. There are tracks that I, as a level 190 player who spent countless hours getting Full Chains and S++ ranks, cannot get past an A rank at best. So if you are one of those rhythm game masochists, you can just pay $4.99 for song packs that go up to a difficulty rank of 20.
On top of that, the soundtrack you get right out of the box starts a little slow, but gets better as you play and level up. In the store there are hundreds of different tracks available, with three great tracks for free download. Even so, some of the best songs do have a fee attached, but when a massive 30-track pack goes on sale, it’s more than worth forking over some cash.

Eh, not the best but not the worst.
I downloaded this app because I recently bought Groove Coaster Wai Wai Party for Nintendo Switch and loved it. This factor caused me to have somewhat high expectations for this game. Those expectations were not entirely met. First point of discussion; the controls. It controlled pretty much how I expected for a Groove Coaster game on mobile. Second point of discussion; pretty much everything else. First off, there should be hit sounds when you actually hit a note. This is especially true with a game like this where the notes are pretty much all over the place. Second off, it’s kind of slow. I’m not sure if it’s just my device (iPhone XS), but it’s definitely a bit laggy. Thirdly, the song selection. I’m not really sure what to say about it. I haven’t spent any money on this game yet since I don’t play much (I’ve only played three songs so far) and haven’t really enjoyed it much, but based off other reviews, it can get costly. And with that, my review of this game has come to a conclusion.

Great but costly
Groove coaster on iOS is one of my favorite rhythm games that I have ever played. The music is enthralling and amazing, the charts are spectacularly designed, the avatars are cool, the game's whole theme is completely innovative, and best of all, you get some great tracks for completely free! However, groove coaster' best content lies in the purchasable packs, where you can find content unmatched in difficulty for all of the rhythm game masochists (like myself) to enjoy. However, this does require some price commitment from you, so I greatly recommend signing up for a taito ID. However, the price is a small penalty when what you get is so good. Songs like Satisfaction, Stronger, DX Choseinou Full Metal Shojo, and literally everything in the touhou and kagerou project sets make this a worthy pickup for any self-respecting rhythm game player

A rather unique rhythm game
This is a vector graphics style rhythm game, which appears to be (somewhat) based on a Japanese arcade cabinet.
The songs are mostly simplistic, and some have vocals but they’re quiet. In my opinion the included songs aren’t that good. You can however buy more songs using real money, so maybe those are nicer?
The difficulty of gameplay is easy most of the time, however sometimes levels (called “missions”) will have a curve-ball where the difficulty spikes for seemingly no reason.
There are consumable items which can change up gameplay (making the screen mirrored or your circle invisible for example), and you can get these for free by completing “missions” or by paying real money for them.
(By the way, you need to turn your ringer on to hear the game audio)

Loved it again!!!
This was my favorite game for so long! Then I don't know what happened, but one day it just wouldn't play the MUSIC. The game called "Groove" didn't have any sound. I could still play all the levels, but it was like volume was turned off. So I tried troubleshooting. I found music in settings/options, (music plot type 3) but as soon as I leave options the music is gone again.
PLEASE FIX! I love this game so much and NEED to be able to keep playing!

Upon further searching, I have found this bug in most (perhaps all) of my games. I am raising the star rating up to four stars, because the bug IS still here. With that said, I'm out. Bai

Perfect Game but..
This game is amazing! All i’m concerned about is the constant download everytime you enter the game. it takes a long time, maybe it would be best if you can have it download in the background while you play? I didn’t understand why there are downloads everytime, after it downloads once isn’t that enough? That’s all I was concerned about, everything else is perfect :)

One of The Best™️ but costly
I’ve been playing this game for a year or so and have played the arcade version. This is by far one of the best rhythm games in the App Store, but I got some serious problems with it and paid dlc. Each set of 4 songs is around 5-6$ which doesn’t seem like a lot but when all of your arcade favorites (looking at you knight of nights) it stacks up pretty fast. Not only that, but the DLC doesn’t have all of the songs compared to the PC port of this game (there’s undertale dlc...UNDERTALE!)
When more songs get implemented, either for free or for price, and hopefully cheaper. I’ll give it some stars back.

Solid rhythm game overall, but needs a couple tweaks
Love this game. I found this game in a arcade in Japan and downloaded this app. Some improvements can be made: An option to download your current songs for offline use, so you don’t have to download every single time. Bigger select buttons to make it easier to pause the game, collect achievements, etc. That’s all I got so far.

Great game but there’s an issue with the taito id!
So before I had this game months back in January, logging in with the taito Id was ok. But now since I reinstalled the game, I can’t log with my taito id! I keep getting an error that says “A connection error has occurred. Please verify that you have a valid network connection and then try again” please fix this !
