【Overview】
This game is the Fan-Made STG Game of [The Touhou Project](Boss Rush Style).
I made it so we can play it on our SmartPhone.

【How to Play】
[Move]
 Slide your favorite spot on the screen and your character will move.
 (It is easy to avoid because you can’t hide hit judgment by sliding your fingers slightly under your character)
[Shot]
 Shots are fired automatically.
 You can switch shot ON / OFF on the setting menu.
[Bomb]
 Erase the bullet in the screen, and damage the boss.
 However, the laser can not be erased. (Because I can not to disappear only for the part that Bomb hit for the original game)
 ※You can choose from 3 ways to fire bomb. (From Config Menu)
 (1)Double Tap Style
  If you double tap the screen, you can shoot the Bomb.
  The sensitivity of double tap can be changed by setting.
  (Increasing the number makes it easier to shoot bombs, but it also increases mistakes)
 (2)Bomb Button Style
  If you push the button, Bomb will fire.
  Button position and transparency can be changed by setting.
 (3)Bomb Invalid Style
  It is challenge with no bomb. Brave.

[Stage]
 You can play 12 stages「紅〜天、Extra、Phantasm」.
 Please destroy the boss that attacks one after another, and aim for the update of high score and clear rank.
[Spell Practice]
 You can practice SpellCard that you played more than once at [stage].
[Boss Practice]
 You can practice a boss that you played more than once at [stage].
[Boss Rush]
You can play this mode after clearing the stage 「Phantasm」.
You can challenge the boss of each stage in succession.

OMG the mad lad actually did it
Okay first of all, I played this game very early on during its time where the extra stages weren’t added yet and bombs were all the same (double tap, then a force field appears similar to the bombs used in Touhou 10). I remember leaving a review where I really liked the game especially compared to the dev’s previous games, lots of great improvements made and content they added. However, I had written in the review how I wished bombing could be better because either the double tap doesn’t register, it’s too sensitive sometimes, or it’s just too hard to react in time to bomb. I remember suggesting that they could change it so that there’s a special button for bombing somewhere on the screen, and if it blocks the screen too much/too distracting, there could even be an option to make the button semi transparent. Coming back to this game after some time, what do I find... the dev actually did it!!! Not only that, characters also have unique bombs to themselves and lots of other qol features. I can’t believe it, maybe it’s because I’ve been playing other really popular games but the developers don’t always listen to feedback and it can feel like you’re talking to thin air. But this developer is not the same, it feels like they really want to make the best game experience possible and I am so pleased with how this game has become even better than it was before! I definitely recommend this game to anyone, give this game a shot for sure.

I’m so happy I found a game like this. I always thought the Touhou games were just lame and overly-exaggerating hard, and they are hard but not lame. Assuming this is pretty much a Touhou game (regardless if it is or not it’s still awesome), I love this game so much. The stages/chapters for each Japanese letter symbol or whatever that come in different colors and stuff, why are they so long?! (Not that I’m complaining or anything add more stages/chapters!!!) I want this game to last forever (I mean if it does then cool but just in case it doesn’t…make it last forever 😈) 10/10 game fr I love the overly complicated and chaotic gameplay, I feel pro playing this game. >:) I would recommend to everybody, I ain’t a bot so just take my word for it whoever is reading

Feels almost official
Your other ones that were all strictly Spell Practice style felt somewhat incomplete (even though a few of the official games are only that). This one feels a lot more like the original games. No fairies or fuzz-balls between bosses, but who cares about the cannon fodder (besides death-fairies like PCB stage 4 or IN Ex) anyway? Most of the patterns clearly recall ones that boss used in the real game, too. Overall, I’d call the difficulty level slightly below that of the easier official games, but this game will still destroy anyone who doesn’t take it seriously.

UPDATE 3/4/20: The most recent update is another major step forward with two of the stages having standard shmup segments before the boss fights. However, there’s a major bug where the Spell Practice menu doesn’t recognize cards after the first page have been faced. Most of the bugs and balance issues I previously noted have been addressed, but there’s still the occasional problem of patterns with more than one foe not fully clearing, usually for the team fights like the Prismriver sisters, but occasionally on minion spam patterns.

New bosses, character choice for the current games, spell card issue and almost a endless mode
I like this game and this is my first touhou like game but I want to see more in this.
I do want to see new bosses like from touhou 17, the PC 1 to 5 game bosses with remix artwork and attacks and fairy wars. I will make a fresh update.
Another thing is character balance of characters in the game. The seventh game you can play as Remiu, Marisa and Sayuka and it’s kinda weird for having characters like youmu vs youmu because it don’t make sense. I think you pick the difficulty first and then the incident and after that can be the characters that have the characters from the current games.
Spell cards are my unfavorite because it’s always the same because I don’t understand it’s a boring circle while the main games have like marisa’s MASTER SPARK or reisen’s lunatic red eyes, I hope you make it different.
And a endless mode where you shoot fairies and can play as all the characters you want and the bosses can be all random.
If you do this, for the pc 1 through 5 characters, I want to see the option to switch into reumi, Marisa or Alice from 1 through 5.

Phenomenal Game!
I was skeptical at first since I couldn’t imagine that there was a quality mobile Touhou game that I’ve never heard of, but this is an absolutely phenomenal game! Everything from the level of detail of each boss to the inclusion of every major playable character makes this game a masterpiece. Plus, it appears like the creator is actively trying to address every problem that has been mentioned in the reviews! I personally have no issues with this game and it has become one of my favorite games of all time! This game is truly a representation of what the Touhou community is capable of. Thanks to the creator for making such an amazing game and I hope this gets the attention it deserves in the future!

One of the best bullet hells on mobile
This game when I found it was flawed in some areas and semi-primitive BUT as an indie fan I shoved that aside and as an hole before the new life changes it was fairly nice but some things were broken but now it’s as brutal as ever and I love it it’s an series of dam near impossible games to win and the touhou series is known for that this mobile app is an amazing tribute too that series And ZUNs legacy as an indie creator for these bullet hell games

(On a side note I would like too see more levels and bit more balancing in power)

(And an random thought the bunny girls character you can pick “stronger bombs” were like nukes than just bombs it needed balancing but I would appreciate little bit more damage for some)

Best Touhou app I have ever played, I'm so excited for the next 3 stages!
Ever since I played your first app, the one with Doremy (I forgot what the name was), I was addicted to your games! Then the next 8 stages 64 spells thing came, then the next, and the next... It got boring.

Then this game came out! I've never seen so much work put into a free app. There's little to no ads, it's bug free, balanced, and super fun to play, in fact, it's my favorite app!

I have a few suggestions to make:

-Revert Hectia's moon spell, I know your intention was to make the spell less difficult, but now it's a liiiiitle harder. Especially with focused shot types.

-Nerf Reisen B, she's my favorite shot type, but the fact that she has super high damage with such a wide attack along with a bomb that can allow you to literally skip spells makes allows you to make really cheesy victories.

-Keep up the good work! I check your twitter page along with the app store to check for updates, I want to play the new update as soon as it comes out! Don't rush yourself though, I don't want your hand getting hurt or whatever part of your body you hurt that one time

Amazing but some minor messes
Really does feel like the real deal. Not that I’ve played them being in the US. Differences being there are no hordes of fairy enemies to go against. Sticking by easy can be difficult at first. Don’t start with Legacy of the lunatic kingdom or double dealing character those are brutal and notorious in the series as the hardest. Also the final extra boss is being put before the final boss, with legacy of the lunatic kingdom and others having it as an optional extra ending. These games all do that so putting them before the final boss can be cruel. There is more content if you do beat all the bosses and a certain someone wink wink. You’ll get a hang of it just take it easy. I’m barely getting by on hard.

Solid foundation, but it’s held back by one major issue...
Bombing and deathbombing feels super strange in this game!

1. I’d love for there to be an option to bomb by tapping the screen with a second finger. The current options feel very strange and makes it so that you have to plan your bombs ahead of time, which is fine on its own, but entirely redundant in a game with deathbombing.

2. I wish that hitting a bullet locked you in place or something so that you could have some sort of visual cue for getting hit. As it is now it’s really hard to get a read on the bullets’ hitboxes because of how I just pass through them and die a second later.

3. I’ve also had a bomb go off in the middle of the death animation itself...? I dunno if this was done to reduce the effectiveness of deathbombing, but I personally would rather have a shorter time window than have bombing during the deathbomb window just feel... pointless.

These are my main criticisms. I dunno if you read these, but it’d be nice to see some changes to this effect— maybe add different options for toggling how deathbombing works, or something. As it is now I just get really frustrated with the game even when I turn bombs off.

A creative Touhou fangame.
I enjoy most of the patterns of the bosses, they really fit what the bosses do. Though, the graphic design could still use some work, it doesn't look authentic.
Otherwise, the hitboxes are slightly strange and dying feels a bit slippery. Also, I suggest having a bomb button or using two fingers to tap to use a bomb instead. Usually I readjust my thumb as I dodge, and with the bomb being a double tap, that often causes me to accidentally use a bomb.
You should remove the ability to use a bomb while in i-frames after death as well. Other than that, it is pretty solid and keeps me playing until I beat all the bosses. There is a lot of effort into this, I can tell.
