Grow Games & Icebreakers Hack 2.8 + Redeem Codes

Hey, I’m Kenny, the creator of this app. Our goal from day 1 at Stuff You Can Use was to create high quality & super practical resources for church leaders. This app and the games inside it are really years in the making, I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to all the youth pastors, kids leaders, and team members who have poured countless hours into these games, graphics, videos, etc.

We really hope this app is another high quality tool in your ministry tool belt that you can use every week. The goal is to save you a bunch of time and resources so you don’t have to spend hours scouring the internet looking for games to download or buy. We hope you love it!

I’m still in the beginning stages of using this app, but so far it is EXTREMELY helpful for games for youth group — ESPECIALLY during the pandemic. One of my weekly anxieties as a youth pastor is finding games that work for our community that aren’t cheesy, lame, or awkward. It’s a ministry challenge I was totally not expecting. Grow Games and Icebreakers is a super easy and functional for my needs each week. There are so many different types of games and I’m still working through my favorites list to see what works and what doesn’t for our community. I especially want to highlight that this is a great resource for finding solid games to play via Zoom with youth.

UPDATE— there is in fact a category for social distance games. Wow. Incredible and excited to try them out soon!

I’ll report back in a couple months after we’ve tried some more games to give more feedback on the games themselves. My 4 star is only because I haven’t used this app very long, and am just trying it out to see how it works for me. Once I use it enough to feel I can genuinely give 5 stars, I will do so!

Programming can be one of the most challenging aspects of youth and kids ministry to coordinate. How do we create fun, dynamic environments that keep our kids wanting to come back week after week? I can tell you from personal experience that it’s easy for me to plan my messages,but I often experience a lot of stress trying to figure out how to give a fun environment week after week. Having a games library this large with dynamic games in a variety of formats is a huge benefit to my ministry and it will continue to help me reach kids from all walks of life. Another gem from the Stuff You Can Use/Grow team. Highly recommend.

As a new youth pastor and a former youth group student, fun games quickly become repetitive and boring when played often. I didn’t realize how challenging it could be to find new and unique games for my students each week. This app is an incredible resource with games that fit any youth group size and style. I can’t wait to continue to try out new games each week, and I’m sure my students will be very grateful that we won’t be playing the same old redundant games anymore!

This app is going to be a lifesaver for me! One of the hardest thing for me personally as a YP to do every week is to come up with fresh new games! Especially during COVID time! Grow Games is “Game” changer! There’s hundreds of games that revolve just around social distancing. The tools in this app are very helpful as well. Trying to pick new students for games each week is difficult sometimes. Grow Games random student selector makes it simple. This is a great resource for youth and children’s ministers looking for new games and activities for their ministries. I enjoyed the instant ice breakers feature, as well as the option to add games to the collection. I tend towards focusing much more on my lessons then being creative with my games, and this affords me the freedom to glean from the creativity of others. I’m excited to put this valuable resource to work. Blessings to the developers, and to each of the ministries committed to leading our young people to a thriving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ!

LOVE THIS! So many awesome games at your finger tips (literally)! No scrounging for youth group games online or trying to remember what you’ve already played. This app is amazing! The tools (wheel, random number/name, scoreboard) are all so easy to use and better yet you can use it from anywhere and it doesn’t require a computer. We are still meeting outside...#COVID....and this is so perfect for our needs for right now, but also for when we are back to more traditional gatherings. Thanks, Grow!!!

This app is incredible. For 15 years I have had to search, create, and reuse games for students. This is exhausting and SOOOO time consuming. Google searching for ideas is no good either - 99% of the “youth ministry games” websites online are... well... terrible at best. This app is an absolute game changer (pun intended). So many incredible games, downloadable slides and instructions, and you can sort through them for pretty much and style of game you need for any size youth group. I’m serious, this is an absolute MUST HAVE!

Grow Games app comes just in time. I have been looking for an app that will help me find and play games for our children at church. This is the perfect app for games and ice breakers for younger and older students. I also really like the handy game tools (Timer, Random Number, Stop Watch, Scoreboard, etc.).

Our children at church really like the games you can do using slides or a screen. Those types of games gets and holds their attention.

This app is absolutely perfect! It’s so easy to find a game or activity using the filters or search bar. They have ideas for everything from small groups, screen games, things to do outdoors, and large group activities! My students love the games and were impressed with the graphics. I loved the ease of finding games and the added creativity it offered my job every week!!! Thank you for this incredible, free, resource.
