woo hoo! new fun,
Amazing game, but... *UPDATED*
*SPOILERS*
I love this game! The way you can customize your responses as Coda, how the game changes every time you play it, each character’s quirks that affect the way they text, everything! The game was running smoothly and I was slowly falling in love with it, until the battle with giant frog to save Syb and Haas. Syb ran off, the ‘Quest Complete!’ sign popped up, I pressed continue... and nothing happened. The entire screen froze and I couldn’t do anything. I tried restarting the app more than five times and I’ve gotten to that same ‘Quest Complete!’ screen again and again, but it just keeps freezing. I don’t want to delete the app, but I don’t know what to do other than that. Fix this issue, and my review will pop back up to 5 stars. Until then, though, I have no choice other than to wait.
*UPDATE*
I restarted the game and that fixed the bug! There was one minor issue with the ‘Quest Complete’ screen after I convinced Gwynn to not be afraid of her shield, but when I exited out of the app and opened it back up again, everything was fine. Also, I got to the end of chapter two, but it doesn’t save the cutscene. I opened that saved slot back up again, but I was at the bottom of the elevator, not the top. These are just minor bugs, though, and once I got past them, I enjoyed this game thoroughly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic game!!
I wasn’t expecting to adore this game so much!! The art style is adorable and the plot line is quite entertaining. Having different reactions boost different character’s trust levels remind me and clearly states a lot of life. The side quests and interactions are silly (especially Chazzaz’s conservation with the mailman). The battles are interesting in how they are set up. I really enjoy this since I have never been a fan of spamming a button to attack. The strategy and planning of each move must be precise or else you’ll loose connection to your Guildlings. I love it!! I have made it through my first run through and am trying to do a second, more sarcastic one. The decisions made create the world around you and shape the lives of others. The trials through the hero’s gate had scared me by its name but were surprisingly easy. But that might be cause they were broken. Also, the tome’s lack of... modern ways is hilarious. I’m excited to see when the next chapter comes out. To end this, I just wanted to say thank you for the best game I’ve ever played. I sincerely believe it is the best game I’ve ever played (except for botw). Thank you for inviting me and thousands of others to this world of magic, myth, and legend.

Brilliant game, hate the bugs :(
I did not expect to love this game so much. I’m enchanted with the characters and so far I just love the story, the dialogue, the personalities, the gameplay. Just everything. I have kind of two complaints though 😕 so far about 3 times I’ve experienced a glitch where the game just.. hangs and while I can open up inventory and characters, I can’t move or interact with anything. Because of the reload button this wouldn’t be an issue except that.. there are only certain save points. I had a few minor issues with this but nothing that big of a deal. However when inside the temple, after defeating the toad boss and syb runs off, the game just froze and did not let me do anything. My most recent save point was before I started the fight, and it’s really discouraging. I closed the game after it happened and I’m probably gonna take a break a bit since I hate having to redo stuff like that. It’s an incredible game that I’ve gotten so emotionally invested in, just please try to fix the unstable parts like this. Or, if it’s not possible in a reasonable amount of work, I would really appreciate being able to save at any point to avoid extremely frustrating moments like this.

I love this game. It sucked me in completely and kept me engaged the entire time. This game had me staying up late and reminded me of staying up playing a new Pokémon game late under the covers as a kid. I really love this game and cannot thank the developers enough for making it.
If you are on the fence about Apple Arcade and are sick of the bad lackluster freemium games that have become the norm.. get this game!! It’s great for the art, the characters, the story and the gameplay. I can’t express how much this game has changed my view on mobile games. The music is even engaging and it’s so fun with sound on.
I’ve always loved mobile games but suffered from the barrage of ads and freemium upgrade that slow you down. This is non of that. Truly you are getting the experience of an excellent 35$ ds game with personalized game play and story, on your phone for five bucks.
I have 0 complaints except the disappointment I felt when I finished all that was released so far. So please update and please know you did an incredible job💕

****New UPDATE**** I was really looking forward to the next chapter but they keep pushing back the release. I truly only kept Apple Arcade because of this game but I've been waiting and still nothing. I guess it’s about time to cancel my subscription because the fact that I have to keep waiting on chapters and I’m paying for a subscription for nothing is crazy to me.
**UPDATED REVIEW** This game is absolutely amazing! Whatever you developers did was exactly what the game needed. I was able to go back through and really fully enjoy the game. The gameplay, the controls, and characters all had me hooked. Only recommendation would be for chapter 2 to be longer because the game didn’t take me that long to beat. Keep doing what you’re doing ! 👌

I would give it five stars however I’ve had to restart and restart again. If I close the game and go back to playing it just gets STUCK trying to load. It doesn’t matter how long you wait the game doesn’t load. I saved Syb and needed to get Haas. I closed the game accidentally and went to open it back up and couldn’t play anymore. Therefore, this app gets one star and honestly would get zero if it were possible.

Good but needs some work
The game is beautiful and quite unique, there is an interesting “combat” system but unfortunately that is where a lot of the issues come into play. The combat system is very poorly explained, there is almost zero way to prevent metric tons of damage to your batteries even when using the “correct” moves. Sometimes there is zero way to actually come out on top leaving your character in the proper “mood” to continue with the story. I understand what the devs tried to do but they really need to create a clear set of rules that both the PCs and the enemies follow, like one move per turn. Telegraphing that the enemy has 4 moves left and that the correct play is to wait until the last move to play your trump move but then letting the enemy go 4 turns in a row because “that’s what the enemy does” is a terrible way to design a combat system.
This is definitely a cute game and the devs really have something here, they just need to clean up the way combat works and make moves do less damage, forcing the player to use healing items at every turn even when using the correct moves just feels bad. You want to reward your player for doing the right thing, not punish them regardless.

Finished first chapter, the glitch with the conflict of save states and sometimes it breaks the game when you put the game in battery saver, please fix, first chapter was good I cant wait till the next one, how long is this game gonna be anyways? Probably very long or not idk. When is next chapter? I HAVE NO IDEA but idk. Time to play the game of patience while I wait for the error to be fixed and chapter 2 coming. The error ruins everything but I’m gonna ask nicely because it’s rude to talk mean, please fix it. Great game sirvo studios! One of my all-time favorites
I’ve never seen anything like this game, and I absolutely LOVE it. One of my favorite things to do is, once I finish a game, go back and try all the different options I ignored in favor of other choices, and I really want to do that, but I can’t bring myself to do it when I feel like I haven’t truly finished the game. I can’t wait for chapter 3 whenever it comes out, this is one of the best games I’ve played since Undertale (and that’s saying something, considering how awesome Undertale was, but it’s already had its time so I won’t gush about it here) and I’m pleased to add this to my growing list of all-time favorites. I’d say that it’s among the top 10, but honestly, I can’t decide on my top 10 because all of the games on my list are so AMAZING. I’m a little worries that this might be another one of those games that made it halfway to completion but got abandoned right before it got to the best part, but I’m still gonna hold out hope that’s not the case. I just want confirmation that it’s still going to come out eventually.

Really good and a buggy mess at the same time
I have no complaints with the actual plot or the way the game turns out (although it could definitely be longer, so… one complaint I guess), however the actual gameplay is an entirely different story. There are various glitches I have come across while playing through the game. For example, in the Whistling Jonas cave, if you defeat the spider with Chazazz on your team there is a good chance that he will appear to be the only character in your team. The other characters can “text” and participate in battle, but their models are gone without a trace. If you try to use Prisma to light the lantern she will appear and stay there after the animation, but the only way to bring the third member back is to exit the cave. Another glitch is when you walk into water on Compass Island, your group will turn entirely blue except for their faces and accessories (like Stafford). A couple doors in the Halcyon Tavern also have no hitboxes, along with many other bugs too numerous to list in this review. The combat system was also kinda mid, but not as much of a problem. Please fix this! (and come out with the next part!)

I love this game :)
I just want to say that I downloaded this game because I loved the art on the cover of the app, but instead I got one of the best games I’ve ever played. First of all, I love the art style and the overall chill mood of the game, even if I’m battling a fridge (lol). I also love how the guildings’ powers can be used on quests only if they have a obtained specific mood. It really adds to the depth of the game and it makes it a lot more interesting than those fighter games where you spam a single button.
I also absolutely adore how you made the conversations almost in a texting way :0 I love how each unique guilding has a specific texting or talking way (btw Chazazz taking pictures of everything is such a cute detail I love it). I especially love how I can say things in conversations and how each option is different! Overall, I could keep talking bc I really love this game :-) other than the occasional bug or awkward transition, I really think it is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Keep up the good work!
