Description

Guitar Scales Power will help any level guitar player learn many of the most used scales and modes. Keep in tune with the tuner and improve your playing by learning scale positions in any key.

Practice playing with scale position loops to master the position and build muscle memory. Learning scales will improve your finger dexterity and ability to improvise. Start slow and increase speed as you improve.

Play scales by swiping across guitar strings; direction of swipe determines ascending or descending playback. Play scale position loops by tapping the play loop button.

Learn scales by playing along with five patterns that cover the fretboard for each scale.

Scale positions correspond to the popular CAGED system. The CAGED system chord shape for the current position of a scale is displayed to help you learn and remember scale positions in any key.

Use the tuner to accurately tune your guitar easily; use chromatic mode or select from tunings.

Adj. reference frequency used by tuner and playback instruments can be set to 410 Hz - 470 Hz (default A = 440 Hz).

Rosemarie and Chuck,
I don’t recommend, bought app, didn’t buy adds!
So I gave this free app a bad review because it came with adds but it was after I purchased Guitar Scales & Chord Power. I didn’t realize the picture in the icons were identical and I was opening the free version with adds. So the developer was kind enough to reach out to me and suggest I delete the free version and how to tell the 2 apps apart. The free app is great to see how it works and play around with but I recommend buying Guitar Scales & Chord Power, I love it. Here is my first review below, my apologies to the developer:

I can’t tolerate buying an app and then to find Google advertisements constantly running only to distract you from what you want to be doing. I can see free apps having advertisements but I didn’t see anywhere when I purchased this app that it came with ADVERTISEMENTS!

My bad!!! It would probably help if the developer changed the picture so it would be easy to differentiate between the 2 the apps. I am super happy I bought the paid app!
Bobby Godd,
I Love This App,
I have spent countless hours searching the web for scale diagrams with the proper fingering and have printed out hundreds of pages of material. It has seriously taking over my practice time. I found this app today just browsing the App Store and I can’t believe it’s been there this whole time. Have only been using a couple hours and feel guilty that I’m not paying for.

I will be purchasing this app by the end of the day! 😍😍😁
Eraday920,
Great
I am just learning guitar and I love this app!!! It is so useful to be able to hear each note and how they can be blended together. I highly rate this app for anyone wanting to learn scales on their guitar.
Mike Nudd,
Great Application
A very awesome app for guitar players who want to learn more than playing cover songs. This could help you take your playing to the next level learning the various scales.
Nedley01,
Latest version wreaked a great app
I liked this a lot and suggested it to friends but with the latest version it buggy. It's stuck on landscape, you no longer can move your view up and down the fretboard and there is extra info that might be nice if you could toggle it off but right now it just makes the fretboard view smaller.
Bhollyfan,
A MUST FOR EVERY PLAYER!!!!
Wow! Amazing app, easy to use. Learn all the scales in different keys as well as the notes that associate with them. Scales can of course be boring to practice but extremely important and I find this app fun to do so.
Epiphone1956,
A small, simple but effective app !!!
A small, simple app which makes it very easy to learn and practice scales. Very good!!! Thanks for your work.

Great stuff
It’s a great app. I’m
Not a novice but I’m not a pro either and this app helps at that level. Go job.
