Description
Located on a barrier island in Boca Raton, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center offers a dynamic look into the coastal and marine environments of South Florida. Join us as we take you on an immersive and interactive tour of the island: hike our trails, swim with the fish, protect a sea turtle nest. Learn about the amazing ecosystems that have developed where the land meets the sea.
Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is a part of the City of Boca Raton Recreation Services. This program was funded by the Friends of Gumbo Limbo and the Davenport Family Foundation. Proceeds from the purchase of this application go toward the continued mission of the Friends of Gumbo Limbo: to support the education, conservation, and research being conducted at and through Gumbo Limbo Nature Center.
