Great game super detailed customization, and the accuracy of the build aspect is great. I like the variety of parts but and lots of the glitching has gone away with the new update but it’s still not perfect and more in some of the smaller categories wouldn’t hurt. Quadrail options are lacking. The variety of build platforms and calibers has improved but some of the unique calibers are lacking in parts selection and at least one shotgun such as a mossberg 500/ Remington 870 would be great, and some of the muzzle brake/ suppressor options seemed to be removed which was very disappointing. The final area I feel could use some more attention is in the optics/ attachments categories, especially the bipods and red dot area. Its mostly micros and large tube designs where an eotech or aim point would be lovely. Some more trijicon would be nice too. But no other game comes close to the accuracy in disassembly and use of real part options.

The app I’ve been looking for over literally 10 years
I was told yesterday about this app by my buddy, who is a avid gun enthusiast like myself, and I have to say, I am very impressed. I’ve always loved apps that let me customize guns, but they rarely had the option to buy what you built, if they did, there weren't a lot of options. This solved that by including a great amount of products to choose from. On top of that, it lets you know if said products are compatible or not, which is fantastic. I definitely bought the full version so I could make multiple builds, I feel it was worth the $2.99. That being said, it’s 100% perfect, but nothing is. There are a few things that I saw that were off, like putting a flashlight attachment on some of the rails would look like the textures are clipping, which would mean it wouldn’t work on the real thing without moving it. Also there was some weird thing going on when putting some of the fore grips on, it would say it’s not compatible, even if was in the middle of the rail, but then I moved it slightly and it would work. Also when putting some attachments on a modular rail, it would clip through but still attach. Small things in my opinion and certainly not stopping me from using it. Love it and hope they add more products to work with.

If you’re planned to build your own AR/AK it’s very informative on how the AR/AK variants operate, it also shows the prices of real world parts for the type of firearm you are looking to build, there are 1000’s of different styles and brands that aren’t quite into the game probably due to licensing and permissions, but it’s very informative! I wish they would add Sig Sauer products, Sig usually doesn’t throw a fit about their firearms in video games as they see it as free marketing but it would be cool to see a Sig P320 or P365 FCU and then add different grips, slides, and etc. another thing to look into for the game would be adding more brands, BCM, Spikes Tactical, LWRC, Daniel Defense, Aero Precision, Zev, Shadow Systems, Wilson Combat, Stealth Arms, Staccato, I could go on and on lol. But this is a very responsive app and a well put together one at that, keep adding to it! I’m always looking for more fun, I’ve actually purchased everything for an AR build due to this app helping me visualize what it will look like and it’s insane! Also please HOLOSUN Optics! Especially for Glock. hs507 COMP.

For Builders
For someone who enjoys messing with different set ups and equipment but doesnt have an unlimited supply of money, this is incredible. Yah sure there may be a few hiccups and of course this library of parts isnt exhaustive, but its more then enough to figure out what I wanna spend my hard earned money on. Brownells and the devs of this are geniuses for creating it, will definitely be using them a lot more to buy gear because you can tell they care about the market and they want to inform and educate their shoppers. I love the fact it gives you information about the product, allows you to check down the sights to see if anything would interfere with your line and allows the Animations to move or operate some of the adjustments of the gun, like extending bipod legs or stocks or flip up sight to see how they fit and the placement. Also love the fact it gives you rough calculations on price, length, and weight of your configuration. Its definitely helping builders.

Honestly really good. Only a few things I disliked.
Title says most of it but i will go deeper. Its really good and helpful. It provides links to a place where you can buy each part which is useful. Another good thing about it is the ability to select pre-made weapons, whilst also allowing you to edit said pre-made weapons with bundles or core parts. Or you can start from scratch and build all the way down to the trigger group and and BCG. My only complaints are that it doesn’t have any NV optics (or not on my version at least) and some other accessories like a 45 mount yet. It also has a small selection of weapon platforms. Some platforms that I would love to see added are the g36 and maybe the m-249, though that may be a bit of a stretch. But with that said I would highly suggest this app to anyone who is interested in buying a weapon or interested in weapons in general.

Great app, some bugs and lacks some parts
So far about a month in I love this app, it’s great seeing some of my future builds come to life, my complaints so far is a couple of glitches like the game crashing or when I try to use a filter it opens up every menu it can cluttering my screen with stuff I can’t close. Other things are like some parts not being labeled right, example the Daniel defense omega rail, it’s a free float rail but in app it’s a fixed rail and “needs” a handguard cap, now my final complaints are the lack of certain parts and prices, knowing it’s sponsored by brownells I was expecting more of their stuff but there’s no Brn 180 customization, which would be cool, and the prices in app are a bit strange some stuff being way over and some being below, all those small things aside it’s a great app if you wanna invest time into building but want to see what it will look like first

Awesome. Highly recommend
But of course I gotta throw a gripe in. I would love to see more accessories added. And be able to add the PEQ box or laser. Or flashlights to the side rails. Work on prices for parts. (Update all the prices). A lot of parts don’t actually have a price on the app. *****But overall amazing app I’m glad to see strike industries products added in.****** Also occasionally ill attempt to load some products and it’ll either take a very long time. Or the page will just load forever. (I’m using ios11 if that helps any). As a suggestion maybe give the option in the settings to “download all content” so that during a build the load times can be much shorter. Hope that the developers read this review.

Really wants this to work
I saw this app and it’s really one of a kind but it currently needs some bug fixes and updates. I want this app to work so bad to help me plan and build my AR at the gun shop and for me to have a picture to look at till it’s paid for. For my experience when I click on magwell grip it comes up with empty options and when I try to choose an empty slot a huge version of it comes up and won’t go off the screen until I delete my build or uninstall the app and re install. Also I want an Trijicon Acog RCO like I had in the Marines, and with all the sight options that is not one of them even though it’s gotta be the more popular kind of sight. They have other trijicon sights so why not that one. Other than that I see great potential, just might be the last time I use it because I don’t plan on buying any more ARs and I have this one I want being built already

Cool but buggy
This is a fun app, and somewhat useful too. But there are some pretty serious bugs that really hurt it in my opinion and make it frustrating to use.
For one, the filters don’t work as expected. For example, selecting a min barrel length or a max barrel length, or both, is futile. If I only want to see 14.5” min and 16” maximum, it still shows me 17” barrels and 9” barrels. Sometimes, if I have no filters selected at all, it will still filter my choices by manufacturer.
Also, my work just disappears sometimes for no apparent reason. After selecting an optic and placing it on the gun, it will just be gone when I back out the the exploded view again.
If I see that these bugs are addressed, I may consider buying the full version, but honestly, painting the gun is not as important to me as just helping me plan my parts list.

Add more!!!
Incredible game with incredible attention detail. Everything about this app is awesome, but I think it’s time for an update. I and many others would love if Sig was introduced to the app with platforms such as the MCX/Virtus, the MPX, and multiple Sig handguns. Another awesome manufacturer would be FN with platforms such as the Scar and the 5.7. Along with those weapon manufacturers, it would be cool to see more lights, optics, and the ability to attach different slings to your weapons. Light manufacturers such as Olight would be great and for optics I would love to see Elcans and more aimpoints, also more magnifiers. Everything about this game is cool and the only way to make it better is to add more!
