Excellent app for kids to learn about Hindu Scriptures
I would like to start with a humble thanks to Sriram garu for developing such an excellent app for kids. The thought behind educating kids with Hindu scriptures and understanding our history is extremely valuable. His effort shows up very clearly in the quality of comics and summarized version of the stories. My daughter used this app while attending Mahabharata class and I can’t remember a time when I was looking away as it kept me excited and glued equally. It reminds me of Amar Chitra Katha that had a similar influence on me in my childhood. I wish for Sriram garu and team to come up with more content like vedas for kids in future which will keep our Sanatana Dharma going forward to future generations too. I would recommend it as a must app for kids who would be interested in learning about Hinduism.

I just completed listening to the first and the second shlokas of the Bhagavad Gita. This explanation and the real life examples, which details the shlokas are amazing. Its amazing how a scripture that was written thousands of years ago is resonating to my everyday life in the USA. Amazing work. This is genius content for a young man like me who is so busy and taken away in the corporate culture. Knowledge and lessons learned from here are helping me by providing me ideas for the challenges that I face in my personal and professional life. $9.99 for 1 year is an awesome deal. Thanks for creating this Sriram. I can’t believe I am learning about Hinduism after moving away so from India. Its like when I first learned Hanuman Chalisa it was from Krishna Das in New York. I came all the way from India to learn Hanuman Chalisa in US from a jewish dude. Life is interesting.

The best gift for our kids
I have been looking for an app like this for my kid. This is by far the best app I’ve found. The pictures are so appealing and the story is very well translated without any changes to the original scriptures. The audio files of the Gita are not just for kids but are very useful for elders too. Extremely clear. I’d rather give my kid a positive screen time through this than let him play games or watch other cartoons. Kudos to Mr. Sriram for the all the efforts he and his team put in. I thank you with all my heart for making it easy for our kids. The annual subscription is also very very reasonable. I have shared this app with all my contacts. This has to spread. Keep up the good work.

A wonderful app for younger generation
I was searching for a good place to read and tell stories from my childhood to my kids. But they are scattered all over the internet. But this app is a game changer. It has all the epic stories plus many more in every possible manner. You will find Maha Bharat, Ramayan, Vikram and Betal stories in comic, audio, story and video form. For younger kids comic form is most appealing.
My kid usually takes a lot of time to wake up from bed, but when I say him to read a chapter or two from this app, he wakes up immediately. He is completely hooked to it.
This is a wonderful effort from the creator. Please keep up the good work.

Educative app for all age groups!
This is the best app to impart culture to the next generation. Kids imbibe through reading and visual arts. Gurukula caters to both their mental stimulation and their thirst for learning, making it a better to-go thing to watch instead of silly cartoons and also a great bedtime story app for little kids. Older kids who love comics love to explore this. Its such a pandora of knowledge even to enlighten a well versed adult on Indian culture. I’m still learning everyday and so are my kids! My 10 year old reads the comics everyday before sleeping while my 5 year old sleeps listening to the wonderful narrations! Thanks Sriram Raghavan for creating such a gem collection which will be useful for generations to come.

Amazing way of storytelling and sharing knowledge
This is a fun way to learn our ancient history in detail. We love the way Mahabharata story and its characters are explored in every session, learning life lessons with real examples. The short stories are perfect to read and discuss during bed time. My kid loves to do the quiz at the end of every chapter. He finds it amusing. The gurukula team is very creative in their approach, turning heavy topics into something kids can understand and enjoy.
My kid also attends the interactive sessions that are offered by them. He loves the teachers, they are very kind, patient and friendly with the kids. Happy to have come across Gurukula.

Fantastic & easy to use App!
What an amazing idea to use technology to promote India’s best gift to the world- The teachings of Mahabharata, Ramayana, etc is the need for the day and this app really helps kids learn these ancient texts! My daughter loves the Mahabharata comics, it’s been just 2 weeks of downloading this app, and now she asks for this when she takes a break from doing her homework. There is audio, video and comic forms.. She loves to read comic version of the Mahabharata. The weekly classes are fantastic too, my daughter & I are enjoying the app as well as the classes very much!

Do you love Indian epics, but can’t narrate them to your kids as well as you’d like? Then this is what you want! I’ve heard the Mahabharata and Ramayana stories along with my 6 yo, and there is so much to learn! From the narration to their application to current world and our everyday lives.. these stories are very well put together. Beautiful narration, excellent stories! It’s for the whole family!
