Description

When developing Gym Tracker, I paid special attention to minimalism. As a result, I got a fully functional workout tracker, which works completely offline and has no extra functions at all. The interface is so intuitive that it is impossible to get lost. I’ve honestly tried my best to make it nice & simple!

The app is great for both gym and at home workout, because the list of exercises is created by you. Instead of hundreds of preset workout programs (invented by nobody knows who), you form your own database - leave only what is important for you personally.

‣ Create any exercise: from yoga to strength training.
‣ Customize them: workout with dumbbells, barbells or with your own weight.
‣ Log your results in a few clicks.
‣ Keep track of your progress: stay toned, gain or lose weight.

Together with other users who regularly write great reviews, we strive to keep the app simple. As a result, as many superfluous elements as possible have been eliminated from the app, but functionality has been retained. However, if you do miss something, you can always contact me directly from the app and I will try to implement your ideas.

The only limitation of the free version is the maximum amount of 8 workouts. You can ignore this limit by deleting old workouts, or remove the restriction completely with a premium subscription at a reasonable price. This kind of support, as well as honest feedback, helps me grow the project. I promise, I do not and will not have any advertising and unnecessary purchases. Everything is extremely transparent. I am using it myself, so I do not want to make another Frankenstein out of the app.

TheTrevornator,
Amazing!! The only gym tracking app you need!
Let me start off by saying that I NEVER review apps. Just don’t, couldn’t be bothered to. But I had to come back here to give this app 5 stars. After trying a few others and not quite liking them, I found this app - Gym Record. I love how minimalist it is, it’s perfect. Everything you need to track your workouts and none of the overwhelming extra stuff other apps have. Just a good way to track your exercises, reps, and sets. That’s it. Deleted all my other tracking apps! Thank you for making this app. It has made a big difference in the quality of my workouts.
KSinisca,
Has exactly the features I needed and no more, but…
I wanted a simple graphical easy-to-use interface for use while in the gym to keep track of reps and weights for each exercise, organized by program, you know, quick touch and go while I work out. It provides that, with no extra feature bloat.

My complaint is that the user interface is inconsistent. For example, the gestures and commands used to close screens are different for different screens and not obvious. Same for saving something like a new exercises or program. It’s as if the developer never gave the app to some friends and asked them to use it for a few days, which frankly pisses me off and makes me want to look for an alternative rather than paying the subscription fee. Too bad.

I provide this feedback with appreciation for the otherwise good work and hope that the developer will read this review and do something about it.
abi328,
This app is great!
I love everything about this app. Super simplistic design. Some of the features (like the statistics for example) are easy to forget where they are because it is such a streamlined design however if you use it a couple times per week slowly it becomes muscle memory to find everything you’re looking for. The only thing I wish this app had was something to track your weight. That way you can keep track of gaining/losing weight depending on your goals. Thank you for an awesome simple experience from a beginning gym goer!

Impressed
I saw a add for this app and decided to download it on my way to the gym and quickly put my leg work out in for that day. It was simple and fast it allowed me to upload my own movements, it was surprisingly modular And overall presentation inside the app The art style is great and it’s easy to navigate. It allowed me to Record my weight sets and reps with ease. And once I was done with my workout I could save it all as a program and label it so I can use it another time. Honestly a really nice app. Don’t really know anything bad to say about it.
Matt55555,
Love it
So simple and easy to use! Love this app. I’ve tried a lot of different apps for fitness tracking most of which had way too much going on for me. I needed something that minimized the amount of clicks while allowing me the freedom to create custom exercises. There’s nothing worse working out and trying to log your sets and having to click through 13 different prompts just to add an exercise. I’m on to my next set by that point. Simple, streamlined and customizable. Everything I need!
niñaa Fresaa,
Wooo!!
I’ve been looking for something like this for a while!!! Seriously for years!! I finally decided to search again today, and came across this app. I really like it. Super simple exactly what I need 👍🏼 I do wish the calendar was a full one and not just a week up at the top. I don’t know why but it confuses my brain when I go back, and fourth to log stuff. The dates change obviously, and it makes me get confused lol. That’s just me being dumb though. Thank you for making this 🤍🤍🤍

Easy, simple, perfect for tracking weight and reps
paid for this app and have never paid for an app before but I loved the free version. No frills but perfect for tracking workouts. I wish there was a section for notes so you could record things for future reference, but otherwise it has everything you need.
0x0anon0x0,
MORE THAN 8 WORKOUTS IS PREMIUM
i added 4 workouts (the same workout each day so far) to my days. i went to add today’s in and it told me i only had 4 more left and then i had to buy premium. none of the reviews mentioned premium and i can’t imagine locking the entire freaking app behind a paywall after getting into the grove of using it. i will be deleting this and not recommending it to anyone. go elsewhere.

** if you have an apple watch, the free fitness app that syncs to your iphone does a good job of tracking WITHOUT having to pay for an additional service. just make sure you press the workout tracking button on your watch first.
RPDutchy,
Almost exactly what I was looking for
I love that I can create programs to easily select my exercises for the day. My only request would be to have an easy way to see what my last weight and reps were for a particular exercise so I know where to start off next time I do it. Otherwise, this app is easy to use and I love it.
AERM322,
Ideas
I like the simplicity, the minimalist design of the app. Two features will make it better: adding a “Notes” field for each exercise, sometimes you just need to add an explanation. The other thing would be to put the statistics as a standalone feature where you can choose which exercise you want to analyze.

Thanks.
