So far Not so good
The tracker looks nice and has some really nice functions. I just wish they worked right! It has potential to be so much better. Wore it for the first time last night and the sleep data is WAY off. It says I went to sleep 15 minutes before I even turned off the light and that I didn’t wake up when I really woke up 3 times. And even though I got out of bed at the time it says, I had been awake for awhile. If it is just monitoring the amount of time I am lying down that is useless when it is supposed to be tracking sleep quality. I like the blood pressure function but since the sleep data is so off I wonder how accurate the bp data really is. The sedentary setting appears to be useless also with only a 6 hour window to choose. I can’t even choose a start time in the morning! Let me choose when I want to be reminded to move. I wish that when I pushed the button on the tracker that the screen would stay on longer. It goes off in less than 3 seconds. That is fine if I just lift my hand to check the time but if I push the button to use it I want it to stay on until I am done. I wish there was a way to adjust the time the screen stays on. I found that it doesn’t accurately record my steps when I am mowing the lawn because my arm isn’t moving while pushing the mower. I wish there was a way to fix that. And finally, I wish that the data synced with the health app already on my phone instead of being a standalone app.
Brad in Greenacres,
Using for Eight Months now
After eight months of usage this “Heart Watch” has gone through some developmental changes for certain. A few months ago the reading for blood pressure were so far off it was ridiculous. Then it just showed a message that said it could no longer read any blood pressure. I stopped using for a few weeks and stuck it in a drawer. I decided to pull it out, charge it and do some troubleshooting about a month ago and noticed it had a new orientation. I did some tests and the heart rate, blood pressure, sleep and fitness functions appeared to be functional once again. I started wearing the watch again. I do like that the heart monitor randomly runs and collects data throughout the day. Question is ? Why can’t the Blood Pressure monitor also do that ? I have to stop what I’m doing and run the test for the BP to get data. I don’t always have time or remember to do this.
I realize this is a free app but I’d be willing to spend a few bucks for the software developers to add a few “bells and whistles” to this program like the “big “A” has on their products.
Keep chipping away at it developers, you have a lot of potential for a great product here.
kineticstuff,
Nice But
I recently received my watch. I like the watch, but the app needs some work. While the graphical interface in the app looks good, there are a few glaring flaws. Some of the data sets are in Mandarin. Generally speaking, if you market a product in the US, the data displayed in the companion app needs to be in English. Feed back that is in Mandain, for most people in this market, is no different than gibberish. The sleep data for a day is not cumulative: it records a single event. This is a big flaw- it makes the watch worthless for this function. Many people, more than half, wake up in the middle of the night on a routine basis. The sleep function NEEDS to be cumlative for all sleep periods in a day. This needs to be fixed. Also a big issue: much of the screen text in the app is very tiny, so even with 20/20 vision you need a magnifying glass to read it; the app does not allow you to you zoom-in to see it better. Like the text that is in Mandarin, text that is too small to read is basically useless. I expect many products to have poor instructions for use- this year ne is no different- no worries there- once you poke the buttons enough you’ll get the basic idea of what the main button does...the other two buttons, who knows- they seem to be for looks only. This watch us cloose to being a great product, at this time it is not one mainly because of the app.

BP and HR monitoring
I was a RN for over 35 years, so BP (blood pressure) and HR (heart rate) monitoring is very important to me. I bought this device for my husband, he recently had heart surgery, so it is important that he monitor his HR and BP. I like this device for the BP & HR monitoring capabilities. I do wish that this app would share data from this app to another. The monitor display is very quick to shut off, sometimes, I need a little more time to write the readings down. Otherwise, this device is very good. The BP and HR readings are as accurate as can be. I checked my husband’s readings against manual readings, they were only slightly off. Nurses are trained to take manual BP to check accuracy of automated systems. If the readings are within 20 millimeters of mercury, which is how blood pressure is read, is considered accurate. HR readings are also within acceptable rates.
This tracker is not very accurate for sleep monitoring. I am not sure how it is supposed to track that, so I am not sure how to check any of the sleep readings. So I would not suggest using this reading. Everything else appears accurate.
I liked this device so much, that I ended up buying one for myself and my mother. My sister is now going to buy one for herself.
Kebneferet,
Works better on my iPad.
I’ve had a smart watch for a year now. It took a few trys to get a smart watch that worked well. I found one I really love about eight months ago. It worked fairly well for quite a while, then it simply would not stayed paired! And getting it paired again was very difficult, and I never knew how long it would stay paired!! I finally was fed up with it! So, couple of weeks ago, I deleted H Band from my iPhone. I tried a new watch with a different watch. I didn’t like that new watch very much, too heavy, the sleep function was. It as good, etc. I picked up my much loved "old" watch and then downloaded the H Band app to my iPad. It works!!!! It stayed paired! If I am separated from my iPad , it will disconnect, but we I’m back, close to the iPad, it just immediately and smoothly pairs again!! I couldn’t be happier!! This doesn’t really make sense to me! But I’m so happy! Can you explain why this is better on my iPad?? Meanwhile, I just LOVE it now!! My H Band app is the 10.2.0 version!
THANK YOU,! Now I just hope and pray this watch "keeps on ticking", because it has been discontinued.
Love6297,
Not accurate
I will say this. For a cheap product I enjoy it so I won’t give so few stars. In the manual it says the app can monitor the female menstrual cycle. The sleep app is way off. I was at a bar one night and it said I went to sleep at the time I was at the bar. When it says, I’m sleep I’m up. I wake up several times through the night and it’ll say I didn’t wake up any. I really wanted to track my sleep since I suffer from insomnia.

When I wake up, i go to the bathroom and from that time, it’ll calculate me having walked over 200 steps. My bathroom isn’t that far from my bed, considering it’s in my room. But I do like the alerts for the phone calls I receive. I don’t keep my phone on me at all so being able to see who’s calling before I get to my phone. Other than that, it’s cheap so I didn’t expect 100% accurate calculations. So I’ll stick with it until I decide whether or not I’m gonna buy an expensive one. Although, I’ve heard those aren’t accurate either
Douglas the II,
Need a lot of work!
The developer needs to work out the bugs in this APP. I wish there was something that worked in its place a “different more accurate app” This thing doesn’t even match what my sleep time it says 8.6 hours on my band but only shows 55 mins on my band. I’ve been told that it only measures certain times but that not true. For instance I went to bed at 10:45pm and woke up at 6:00am it showed the exact time on my band and on this app. This morning it showed I only got 55 mins sleep so it showed something totally different. The first thing I do is sync my band first thing in the morning. But It has nothing to do with time zone, what time you go to bed because it has worked when I went to bed at 6:30 one night I didn’t feel well I slept over 10 hours and it registered the entire time. It has to be something I’m not aware of about how the sleep app works or how to activate it. I was told it can’t be controlled by the band or the app. So I’m going to go through some other apps and do a lot of research today and see if I can find another app that this band will work with. Because it is really screwing up my health log!
PLEASE FIX THE SLEEP FUNCTION ON YOUR APP!!

1st Day
Seems interesting. The Blood Glucose seems to be very hit & miss. Would like to see BG number available in US format as an option. It is very simple to convert. Multiply MMol/L by 18. Not as difficult as converting temperatures from C to F. Three days in. I am primarily interested in the non-invasive Blood Glucose monitoring. It works but the accuracy is really off. By my very rough calculation, it is approximately +/- 25%. I recently took a reading in the watch app & immediately took a blood sample. In ml/dl it was 78 (Watch) to 104(Blood). However, the trends shown in the app seem correct, just that the numbers are not close to accurate yet. I am very hopeful that this will improve over time.
Several weeks in at this point - blood glucose numbers are all over or under actual. I think it needs to be calibrated to the user using real blood numbers.
Princess Goober Rhoze,
Awesome Watch but needs more bug fixes and updates please
I Love my watch!! However, not everything is syncing properly. My watch works fine. But the app doesn’t sync everything. Only the steps, body temperature, and Blood Pressure sync’s. Other than that? Can you please please create a test for the Respiratory Rate be able to be chosen, so that it can be checked every single time people want to? And not just during the night or with the SpO2 please? And getting awards messages for meeting goals would also be helpful please!! Thank you so much!! Also? How am I supposed to be holding my watch correctly for my SpO2 and ecg etc etc? There’s also no directions on it. Plus? My SpO2 and ECG and Blood Glucose readings don’t sync from my watch to my app to my Apple Health app!! Ugh!! Those keep on saying failed!!
wwwingnut,
Amazing app for an inexpensive watch.
I bought this watch because I wanted to see if I would get any use out of it (and because I'm cheap.) I certainly didn't want to spend the equivalent of a weekend vacation in the mountains for something I might not like.

This little generic watch, is very accurate when worn according to the directions. Due to my medical issues, minor but often monitored, I'm acutely aware of my normal stats. The tracker is never more than one or two points of in either direction even when compared to the doctor is checking my vitals.

I'm impressed with the performance and accuracy of this less than $20 fitness tracker! Hmmmm, I think I hear the mountains calling... K bye!
