alfhdhwkalxngsbw64847592,
It doesn’t do all it said it could
I got this watch for Christmas for my family to get healthy together and I had a checklist of requirements that I wanted it to do, I made sure that the product I was looking at had a camera setting, customizable watch backgrounds, weather alerts, sms/app notifications from Snapchat, and blood oxygen level calculations. To my surprise the app compatible with my version of the watch doesn’t support any of these (well it has four lame backgrounds to choose from). There are other apps by the same company that are advertised as compatible and having these settings, but my watch won’t connect even though I thought I was getting an updated new version of the product. I read reviews that seemed to suggest that most versions of the watch are only compatible with some of the functions advertised. This is very disappointing since I did so much research on what the capabilities of the device were. I think that this company needs to make their different watch software compatibility clear. I think that when they update this app for this version, they need to deliver the capabilities that they advertised or make the different apps compatible with all the devices. Options in the app to use the watch as a phone camera remote, better alerts/notifications, smooth user interface, and better data analysis of collected information are all things that this company advertises and the app doesn’t deliver.
vbplayer93,
Great for the price
So I’ve had mine for approximately 24 hours now. My coworker has a couple of Fitbit devices we compared side by side and the interface on the device looks nearly identical. There are a few additional functions on this that are pretty cool that are not on the Fitbit! I especially like the picture taking function and the ability to skip forward, backward and pause songs on the Bluetooth connected device. The heart rate monitor and the sleep rate monitors work well and I liked the details you can view on the graphs in the app. So the cons... If you allow the gps function to be turned on, you will have to keep your phone on you to track your steps or it won’t count them. (what’s the point of using this if you are going to carry your phone, because then your phone is doing the tracking?) I love having the ability to use the device for weather capabilities, however, this is an area still needing improvement... the weather function requires you to turn on gps permission for updates on weather to push to your tracker. So at this point I’m toggling gps permission on and off so I can use all the features. The app has a lot of tools in it and it’s nice. I wish it would have the ability to allow certain functions access to gps so it won’t interfere with step tracking or weather updates. But so far I think it’s worth the money spent!
Alexander.Knight,
It gets it done
For the price? People can't complain. We knew what we were getting ourselves into when we opted for the $40 fitness watch vs the $200 Fitbit watch.
I'm using an iPhone 6 Plus. The app DOES record my sleep (awake, light and deep state), it does record my steps, notifications DO work, music control DOES work and it displays what time and date it is.. that's enough for me. One of the "face displays" is of a snowy mountain and the weather. I wish it would actually display the current weather "snow/rain/fog/sunny" instead and I do wish the temperature would be the actual temperature instead of a fixed temperature reading. With that being said, if you activate the weather feature, you can swipe up to the weather: however, it does not display your locations. Weather app said I was 75*F and the screen said 85*/93* .. guessing for the lowest to highest. Very inaccurate and I don't know what city it was taking that data from.

I've showered with it w/ Zero damage. And I don't know how accurate, if at all, the heart rate monitor is. I was running on treadmill (185 heart rate according to the treadmill). Watch said 105. I had it tighter on my wrist as the instructions suggest when working out. No difference on how tight I made it.
MoMo~Asana,
It was working great until..
This watch has been my favorite, up until about a week or two ago I believe? Those of you commenting that it doesn’t track your runs or bike rides.. it does have touchy Bluetooth connections and no matter what it says, even after syncing the map won’t show up properly unless your phone is with you and close at all times(on the run/walk/hike ect). Anyways, the reason I am writing a review is bc as of the past two weeks, my workout times are NOT correct. It said an 8 min workout for me today even tho I did 47 mins😂, the graph is correct but not the calories bc the time says 8 mins. I screenshot abs post my workouts online so I hope they fix this!! I honestly have loved this app.. I know it can be a wee bit faulty sometimes and you should check the cals on a free calculator website if you’re doing something like a hiit or heart pounding sweat sesh.. bc the calories are majorly underestimated no matter what. The only time it’s accurate is with a walk or yoga(so a lower heart rate)so that’s my tip. I mean it’s an adorable fitness watch! You get what you pay for, those things wouldn’t bother me but just PLEASE FIX THE WORKOUT TIME LOG. Thank you 🙏 🙂(I will update my rating to be better once there’s an update fixing the glitch).

Rating the App, Not the Device
The device is what it is, an inexpensive knock off of a Fitbit. The app, that’s what this review is for (as reviews should be in the App Store). It presents the information well enough. Graphs are easy to read. Colors aren’t obnoxious. Where it fails is in its usability. Interface isn’t terrible. What would be intuitive, swiping left or right to see a different metric, isn’t there. You tap on the metric name to bring it into focus. When you tap on “Today,” it allows you to scroll left and right, unlike the main screen, to see values for different days. You can even go to that day to bring it up but as an afterthought, they added the words “back to today” in the upper right. There’s a catch though: there isn’t enough room so it actually reads “back...oday.” A simple “back” would have sufficed. Lastly, the details screen is lacking what it purports to even contain. It’s just overalls for the three categories. That is more a function of the device only measuring what it does. But the graphs, especially the heart rate graph, just show overalls, or in the case of heart rate, your resting heart rate each day. Why? It would be nice to switch what the graph shows, but alas, that function doesn’t exist. Missed opportunity. I guess you get what you pay for, it in this case, got for free.
Love-custom-tune,
Okay but needs more work.
The app is generally fine. But I wish you could modify it to include a background refresh like most apps do. I hate that I have to explicitly open and refresh this app to record my activity and it doesn’t have the background app refresh option in iPhone settings. Quite a few times I lost my activity record simply because I forgot to sync it to the device. Also, it would be VERY helpful if the notifications for the same message did not repeat themselves on my watch. Once is enough. Sometimes I scroll through notifications and it’s multiples of the same email message. It almost feels like each time when watch reconnects with Bluetooth, it sees the same message as brand new one. That’s very annoying. As much as I like to preview email, I’m thinking about turning off this particular notification because it gets repetitive and extremely annoying. Haven’t noticed the same with text messages.
I think these two features mentioned above would make the app better.
Gainz&Loss,
Sleep
I really like this product. My biggest problem with it is the poorly thought out sleep recording function. After you wake up it stops recording your sleep even if you go back to sleep. It only wants to record sleeping once a day. It’s kind of a silly flaw because most people wake up in the middle of the night. Even if you get nine hours total sleep it will say you have only slept for three hours because you woke up once.
This deadly flaw TOTALLY RUINES the sleep function and makes it useless. I almost want my Fitbit to wear out or break so that I can move on to another product that actually has a good sleep function. I don’t even bother wearing it at night anymore.
There needs to be a function or activity setting which the user can switch on called “sleep” just like the “running” function which would force the app to continuously record sleep even after waking up.
Please update sleep function or add a sleep feature!!!
Collyla,
Seems alright
So, this was a major pain to connect to the watch. But once it was synced up, it was pretty good. I have to frequently refresh the app so it’ll sync with the watch’s current step count, heart rate data, etc... but it’s been accurate so far. I do like the sleep tracking...it’s cool to see the cycling between deep and light sleep. It even got it right when I woke up for a few minutes and shifted around before going back to sleep. I know this isn’t a unique feature, but I like the sedentary alerts (the little exercising stick figure is cute). All in all, I’m happy with both the app and the watch itself. I just wish the app automatically synced up with the watch, without the need to regularly refresh the app.

Mind you, I’m not doing any serious athletics...I just wanted an extra push to be more active. And it does that. If I was training for a marathon or something, I’d go for a Fitbit.
Livseidel,
Expected more
The product description is misleading, as the watch/app doesn’t provide all the data/customizing advertised. Thought I could get more from downloading other apps of the same developer.... nope, they don’t work.
I’d also like to see data by day, week and month. That should be a fairly easy development. Or alternatively, add the ability to export the data so I can plot the points myself.
I’d like to also be able to view all the individual data that is collected on one list. Sometimes I see heart rate data exports to Apple Health app and I can view it that way, but why not in this app? And view listed data with its other features like blood oxygen and blood pressure, even GPS. Which, by the way, do not appear accurate. I walked back and forth a few times on a playground and drew with chalk and my “walk” said it was 1.2 miles! No way.
The apps design and controls are not intuitive... even after 2 weeks of daily use I fumble buttons and swipes every time I use the app.
It has a lot of promise but needs a lot of basic improvements.
astridrael,
Elevated resting heart rate not synced to phone
It reads my resting heart rate as 60 or 61 all the time on the app, however, I have a health issue with my vagus nerve which will randomly dysregulate my heart rate which is why I bought this watch to begin with. I wanted to be able to chart my heart rate because I often have bouts of tachycardia. Now on the watch itself, it will read my elevated heart rate and it will chart it on the screen, but when I update/sync the watch to the app on my phone, it shows a flat resting heart rate of 60 bpm every day, which is completely inaccurate. Please fix this glitch and update the chart screen so that you can zoom in and look at the details of the heart rate, or add a chart similar to the sleep chart at the bottom of the screen because people like me depend on devices like this to be able to show this info to their doctors, otherwise we can’t get treated properly, or at all!
