Description

Say good-bye to streaks, chains, and other habit tracking techniques. With the HabitApp, you build new habits on top of the ones you already have by building a habit stack. Using the habit timer, we keep you on track when you're performing your habit. If you ever performed a HIIT workout or used a check-list, you have a sense of how this works. By identifying what habits you want to perform, allocating how much time each habit takes, you're allocating a time box. When you timebox habits, you'll find yourself effortlessly starting habit stacks each day and performing them automatically without using any willpower.

Want to meditate every morning, but you get distracted by checking Facebook? Create a habit stack called 'morning routine' that allows for 5 minutes to check Facebook, followed by a 10-minute meditation session. Every morning when you check Facebook, just start the habit stack, check Facebook, and meditate. After 15 minutes, you're done! You'll be surprised at how easy it is to develop a daily meditation habit.

Want to read before you go to bed, but you forget as soon as you settle in? Create a habit stack called 'evening routine' that gives you two minutes to settle into bed, followed by a 10-minute reading session. Every night when you prepare for rest, just start this stack, hop in bed and start reading. Just like that, you're reading every night!

The HabitApp is ad-free and is free to use with up to 7 habits and 1 stack forever. We want to help as many people as we can create new habits and we think 7 habits and 1 stack will work for almost everyone. If you're an advanced user who needs more than 7 habits and 1 stack, we offer a paid subscription plan called HabitApp Pro for just $0.99 a month. If you're committed to building great habits for a full year, we're offering a 15% discount for annual subscribers at just $9.99 per year.

Tommi Joy,
Habit stacking works!
I’ve been using the app for a week, which may not seem like a lot, but the impact is real. I have 10 stacks that I ordered by creative naming due to fixed alpha ordering of stacks (ps pls add ordering of stacks asap). Over a weekend, I spent an afternoon setting them up and the next day tweaking the time allotted for each habit as I trial ran each stack. Monday was the launch day. I had been perpetually late to work up to 10 minutes a day my whole life. Monday I was a few minutes early. Same on Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. I had been underestimating the time it takes to complete basic tasks, was always rushing to get out the door and felt guilty every morning for being late. Now knowing how long a stack takes, I have changed my alarms accordingly and can make informed choices if I hit the snooze button. Same for evening and weekend routines. Habitapp has improved my consistency tremendously and I love the mini celebrations after doing a string of habitual things. Thanks to the team ❤️

lifeisloveschool,
Great habit stacking tool for building new habits!
As part of my self-love practice, I have a morning routine where I would journal, meditate, and affirm after I wake up, have coffee, workout, and shower.
I'm pretty consistent up to the workout and shower part, but after that, I often get distracted by work interruptions and other life stuff and miss the rest of the routine.
Using this app with it's running timer function has done WONDERS to help me stay on track. Now I just have to remember to run the app once I wake up, and the rest happens. It takes the willpower/thinking part out, so it's much easier for me to stick to the routine. After using the app, I can go through the entire routine >5 times a week, a huge improvement over what I was able to do before.
I feel much happier when I start the day having done everything I wanted to do for my own wellbeing first, and I give this app credit for making habit stacking real.
Shopping2,
New habits are so easy!
This app solves the problem of building new habits! I just create my routines and start the timer. I’m already feeling the consistency and benefits without having to struggle with remembering to do something every day or dealing with the guilt my habit streak was broken. I’m so happy I discovered this!
