CUSTOMIZATION:
You can customize your habits however you like! Change the colors to fit your aesthetics, choose how you want to be motivated, on what days you want to practice your habits, and much more.

VERSATILITY:
You can create everything from a morning routine through a gym or study routine to a peaceful night routine! It can be a blank canvas if you want it to. The built-in time management algorithms will help you to fit it into your day!

SIMPLICITY:
You just need a moment to get started! The dedicated today view gives you quick access to all that's needed at the time. You can complete the most important actions in seconds, but underneath there's loads of customization and content to go through if you want to.

FOCUS TIMER:
It's often tough to concentrate with all of the modern distractions. That's why our timer works in the background, so you can use it alongside another app. Maybe you have your favorite running or yoga app that you'd like to use during your routine. Now you can do just that! When not on the screen the timer can send you notifications when it's time for the next habit. The focus timer works for routines and standalone habits.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
In addition to an intuitive morning routine builder, there's also a community-built library of healthy habits and ideas to choose from. The idea is to start small and focus on building a streak, then add new exciting habits along the way!

PRIVACY:
No personal data is collected by us. We believe that such a personal app shouldn't collect or sell your data.

It's time to start planning for the next year and to start thinking about those resolutions! To help you this year, Awakee is getting a ton of updates, starting with this one.
Whether it's habits or routines we practice them for a reason. We work towards our goals, but often we don't write them down. We work towards our vague goals and often we don't see any progress, because well, we can't track it. By just writing them down you are more likely to achieve them. Although, this leads to another problem - after writing them down there's no concrete plan or system to work towards it.
With this new update, we hope to end both of those mistakes. The whole goal system is brand new and designed to help you set meaningful goals and connect them with helpful habits and routines.
This is just the beginning of updates that will make Awakee your best partner in reaching your goals. To learn more, visit us at www.awakee.me

bross01,
It’s come a long way
The developer has made huge strides in making this app reliable. I use it every morning for my 3-hour a.m. routine. It used to crash at least once every morning. It no longer does—I can’t remember the last time it crashed.
It’s a great app for setting and keeping mornings routines.
My one complaint is that during the routine, when I get a notification pop up on my phone, the timer stops if I interact with the notification at all (for example, marking a reminders task as complete). I can easily resume the timer countdown by clicking on pause/play twice. But sometimes I don’t notice the timer has stopped.
That’s the only remaining issue I have with this app. It’s honestly one of the most useful apps on my phone. Highly recommend.
denab0bena,
Great app and customer service!
I previously wrote that I was bummed about purchasing the upgrade of the original app and was worried it would stop working with the new app... Jacob reached out and let me know that I can still have the upgrade in the new version. He really cares about his app and that people have a good experience on it. I really enjoy using it for my routines, as it keeps me on track. Highly recommend!
timxoc,
Great concept, horrible conception
I started out with the original version of this app (same name, different icon, less features). That version has a few bugs but is far superior despite them. Since updating to this newer, fully-loaded version, my morning routine and peace has been ruined by incessant and unscheduled notifications (imagine brushing your teeth 15 minutes ago and getting a notification to brush your teeth anyways) and ringing "task completed" sounds that go off 4-to-6 times instead of the once. I've tried silencing my phone, and still the DING, DING, DING, DING persists -- usually before my task timer is even up. I thought using the Apple Watch version would help, but it can't find the routines I created on my phone. Downloading this app and purchasing the annual subscription is the worst mistake I've made in months. I'll be deleting it after I post this review and pleading with the heavens for a refund on my purchase.
user9252525252,
I wanted to give 5 Stars so bad…
This app is everything I need in an ADHD app and I literally downloaded 9 different apps and narrowed them all down to this one. However, it keeps deleting parts of my daily routines which were painstaking to create and edit!! It’s happened multiple times now and my ADHD is SO frustrated. That’s like the worst thing for someone with ADHD to have to do an unnecessary task OVER AND OVER!! I wanted this app to work so bad and so I went on and found the other version and turns out I WAS using the new version!!! 🤬 ugh. I should be relaxing and going through my morning routine right now but out of the 19 habits I had to edit and correct for the 5th time last night only TWO were in my routine this morning?!?!

I’m beyond frustrated because this app has so much potential. But I can’t keep wasting my time on it. Please fix!!!!
game girl 5323,
Yes.
100% recommend. I use it daily and let me just say…. This app slays. The developer did a fantastic job at creating the app!
Lcincala,
Terrible and REALLY wanted to like it
This app was incredibly INCREDIBLY difficult to use. I created a routine, added Habits, etc., but it never saved? I spent about 15 minutes trying to use it and gave up. I work in software as a product manager, so I feel that I can usually figure out software quickly. This one, not so much. I'm not going to spend more than 15 minutes trying to just create a habit, so I'm out.
lemusicgoddess,
Good Idea. Needs Work.
I really wanted to like it. It's exactly what I need: routines with sub habits. However, adding the time is difficult and also adding a goal for the routine will send you to a page that you can't get out of. I tried it twice and both times the only way out was to restart my computer. Sorry, but I just can't work with that.
AlwaysNonnie,
Extremely Buggy
In the first twenty minutes of use, I came across these bugs:

1. Setting a custom goal puts a see-through overlay on the screen instead of an opaque one. It’s hard to fill out the custom goal information with the other page still visible.
2. Going back (maybe restarting the onboarding?) makes the “Create a Custom Goal” button pop up on the “Choose Your Level” page. It isn’t clickable, but it’s confusing that it’s there at all.
3. Skipping the morning routine creation and then clicking back put me on the morning routine creation page as if I’d said yes to making one.
4. Not sure how I managed this one but at one point the Custom Goal Creation page was stuck scrolled slightly too low for me to tap the back button or save button. I had to switch to another tab in the bottom nav to get out.
5. Moving several items around in a routine makes them save in the incorrect order.
6. A new Morning Routine routine is made every time I hit the morning routine page in the onboarding.
7. Deleting routines has a lag without any loading indicator, and since several routines titled “Morning Routine” were created from my struggles going back and forth in the onboarding, this was extremely confusing and led me to delete the one routine that I did want to keep.

I didn’t get around to really trying the routine process itself, but I liked the controls for the little I played with it. I also liked the things the app recommended to put in the morning routine, as there were some useful things I hadn’t thought of.

The sleek look of the app is really appealing, but I was entirely too frustrated while using it. I will be uninstalling for now and maybe checking it out again in a year or two.
Robicund,
Lacking in so many functions
This app is filled with bugs. Yet, the creator normally charges $40 for a yearly for a premium subscription—it just happened to be that there is a 50% discount at this time. What is most appalling about this app is that it lacks SO many features, and yet, the creator still has the audacity put a hefty sticker price on its premium service. For one thing, this app lacks syncing of any kind—I tried to get my routines from my phone onto my iPad and Apple Watch for at least an hour. But atlas no avail. So, I would literally have to copy all of plans from one device to another if I want to you this on multiple devices. In terms of this app’s function on the Apple Watch, it’s just a black screen—there are currently no inputs I could apply to my watch, that could make it at least somewhat useful. Furthermore, there are no Apple calendar, nor Google Calendar, integration options in this app. And despite this app’s claim to help with one’s organization skills, you have no options to sort the routines you create into many subsets according to the different faucets of your life. It’s just there time-sorted by default. Lastly, there are no workable iPad-tailored version of this app, the one on the public AppStore is an adapted iPhone version of Awakee. On the iPad beta version, it crashes upon attempting to go through any habits you designed.
All in all, I suggest having more humility when pricing this app. Other organization-apps have so much more options and also cost much less than a normal $40 a year subscription. “Structured,” for example, have data sync among Apple devices, calendar integration, and as the app’s name suggest, a structured framework to help users built consistent habits, similar to Awakee. But better yet, Structured offers a one-time flat fee of 5 dollars for its premium, and its creator also give the opportunity to get that waived if you cannot afford it. Thus, I simply suggest fixing all the bugs on Awakee and implementing more features before slapping on a $40 a year premium subscription to Awakee.
Ayaka.Ida,
Cant get the code from legacy version
App cuts out and I can't get the code from paying for the past app.
