Ham Radio Exam - Tech Hack 1.5.2 + Redeem Codes

Meet a few friends who talked me into getting my Amateur Technician License and the recommended this app. Gotta say I found the format for reviewing sections and taking sample test suited for my learning style. You can study each test section questions which are comprised of the current list of test questions for the exam. No studying things that would show up which is a big plus for me. Then you can take quizzes on each section to see how much you retain for that section. For the Sample Exam it mixes up the 35 questions, by the way that’s how many is one the exam, and flashes green if you got it correct/ red if you didn’t. At the end it shows the % and number correct along with the questions you missed so you can review them and the correct answer.
Just downloaded the HRE-General to study for that next. Can’t beat the simple and effective way this app helps you study, definitely give it a shot.

I took a Zoom Ham Radio operators prep class, which helped me with the basic language/terminology. Our instructor advised to download a prep app and I chose this one.
I started taking the sample exams about a week ago and was feeling so defeated as I was only scoring 50-60%. I kept at it though and a few more sample exams I was scoring consistent 80%, and even higher as the week went on. I passed my exam yesterday on my first attempt and only missed 3 questions.
After doing the practice exams over and over, when I did the real one, the answers jumped right out at me. I was done with the test within probably 10 minutes. The sample exam questions are word for word what I saw on the official exam.

This is a terrific app for those studying for the Technician Exam for an FCC license as a ham radio operator. I used it extensively to help me pass the exam. The app allows you to read all the questions on the test along with the correct and incorrect answers. You can take a sample quiz for each section which again will show you which answers you got right or wrong and the correct answer in the case where you missed a question. Once you feel you are ready, you can take sample full test as many times as you want to see how you will do on the actually exam. I used this app and the Gordon West book to pass the exam and would recommend this app as a key study tool.

This app works well and was very beneficial in helping me pass my exam! I liked the ability to view all the questions in the pool with the correct answers.
Suggestions for improvement:
Would like to have the ability to select an answer and submit with two separate actions to prevent accidentally touching an undesired answer, or to review all of your answers before submitting, as you have with the real, paper exam.
Would like the option to see the the questions in the pool along with the correct answers *without* seeing any of the incorrect answers to focus on and memorize the correct answers and avoid getting the incorrect ones into your head.

My wife and I both passed the Tech exam by studying with this app for just a few hours. We realized we had forgotten to study for the test the next day, but we also had a full schedule for the day. No way could we have so conveniently fit in calling things out to each other and reviewing independently without this app. We would have certainly failed without it. Did have a bug where missed questions were not clickable in the app so you couldn’t read the whole question.

I highly recommend for the section quizzes! Extremely helpful!

However the sample tests are not random enough. Too many repeat questions and some questions are never asked. I have taken the sample test numerous (and I mean numerous) times and have never been asked certain questions that appear on the section quizzes.

I downloaded a different app for more comprehensive testing, but still use this app for the section quiz as I find it more intuitive. Fix the randomize problem and you got a winner.

I'm studying for my exam and the practice tests in this app are the exact questions in the Ham Radio License Manual valid through 2018.

UPDATE: definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s. deserves more. Couple of weeks before my targeted test date, I would take 3-5 practice exams per day. This app provides a realistic representation of the actual exam. It's a well structured study tool. Made taking the test fun and easy. Thank you! Will be back for the General.

I downloaded this today in preparation for taking my technician exam tonight, and wish I would have a month ago. It's so much faster to take an exam than the ARRL site, and it's a lot easier to see what you got wrong so you don't repeat your mistakes.

I only used it 3-4 times, but it looks like there's even a way to see what sections you tend to do poorly on, which would be great for studying.

I took my exam and got 34/35, so I'll see you once the FCC issues me a call sign!

I just passed my Technician Class license yesterday. I was so ready to test. I had seen every test question and answer many times over and over. The section quizzes help tremendously. I was told to take practice tests over and over. I did. It got to the point where is was always in the 90% range. I strongly recommend this app for your test preparation. I will also use the next level app when I go for General. Definitely five stars and two thumbs up!

Just passed technician, general and amateur extra test in one sitting. I used these study guides exclusively studying for the test.
Passed all three with flying colors.
Study the questions, take the practice test to see how you are doing and before you know it you'll be ready.
Many ways to study online but with the app, any time you feel like it just open it and you are ready to study.
