its me its me its ernist T,
Something is wrong
I have the paid version and it was doing great but lately it registers a shot as soon as timer goes off and I haven’t even drawn my pistol. I’m a quiet room no noise no ammo and I’ve tried each sensitivity setting. I sent this review a few months ago and it still hasn’t been fixed. It was a waste of time and money
Dbg47,
Don’t throw away your money.
This app is worthless to anyone shooting more than one or two shots. I need to know the time to my first shot and my last shot. I bought this a couple days ago when I forgot to bring my timer to the range, fifty minutes from home. The drill required me to shoot four shots, change mags and shoot four more at particular targets. I needed to know the total time as I was competing against others around the country. Thirty-five minutes after purchasng the app, I contacted the credit card company for a refund. I found out this afternoon that the refund was refused. I can afford to be out five bucks, but I don’t want to see anyone else getting ripped off by a “developer” for an app that doesn’t do anything. Please don’t waste your money, unless you’re willing to lose it as soon as you use it. You should be ashamed for putting an app like this out for sale without a free trial period.
N4CDLAW,
Finally an app that can hear a dry fire
Rated this high only because it’s the only one I’ve found in years that can usually (90% of the time) detect the click of dry firing on my striker fired pistol. Only used for dry fire in the house. Would like to see some more utility in terms of a final par time beep, better ability to time multiple shots, etc. Also the app won’t allow the volume of the beep to be adjusted as far as I can tell. It’s really quiet, no way I’d be able to hear it at the range with ear pro on. Tried to overcome with a Bluetooth earphone but the app wouldn’t use it, unsure why.
Ben Lasch,
A good start
This is a great option for people who don’t want to buy an expensive shot timer. There is already a few good practice modes, and there is so much potential for this app. I’d love to see more types of drills added, or possibly a way to calibrate the sensitivity so this can be used while others are shooting in the background, or so another sound doesn’t interfere, like a dropped magazine hitting a hard surface. Can’t wait to see more updates to this already good tool!
mahjongboy,
Not useful for dry firing
I bough the paid version. Will not reliably detect dry fire shots with a striker-fired pistol. It will however, pick up the sound of drawing from a Kydex holster. I played with the sensitivity settings. Just doesn’t work. All I wanted to do is practice single-shot draws from concealment. This app will not work for that purpose.

Developer, if you would utilize the mic on an Apple watch, it may solve this issue. Just a thought. As the app is (Sept 2022), it is not worth paying for. $3.00 down the drain.

I did not test during live fire, and the app may work fine for that. However, I have a real shot timer for range work. Disappointing.
AlonzoG1,
Good app for airsoft
I got this to practice airsoft drills with my son. So far so good. The countdown timer is pretty low though and won’t turn up any higher. Automatically turns volume down once it starts the timer. Maybe needs a fix?
i just bought it and haven’t tested outside yet. Will update if anything else comes about. Other than that, it seems to work for dry fire and single shot.
K_E_Spartan,
Timer keeps lowering volume automatically
I purchase the premium version. After the timer finishes the beep that is supposed to be the louder it keeps lowering volume automatically. Very hard to hear since it gets to a very low volume setting.
Dereknamttib,
Basic training tool
Took to range and did 1 shot reload drills The timer worked about 90% of the time I was shooting inside range with 45acp. It works well enough to give good basic feedback. Much better then just going to the range and wasting ammo
Scuwisnrvsiznc,
Volume Issue
Got the paid version before reading reviews unfortunately. I can turn my phone all the way up on volume and every time I hit start the volume goes back to a predetermined volume. Even as it is counting down and trying to turn the volume up it resets and even seems to try to go lower.
MT Glock Shooter,
Too quiet and only 2 shots
The start beeps are too quiet. I try to turn them up but, after the first beep, the volume turns itself back down. It also only counts up to 2 shots. Otherwise it works well if you can hear the start beep.
