Good App to Learn Basic Chemistry
I wouldn’t go so far as to say this app and the molecule set it works with are for kids up to 17 years because by then hopefully they’ve learned chemistry that moves beyond this set. It is still a good support app to complement the molecule kit; together they provide a good basic visual understanding of bonding as well as the structure and significance of common molecules. All in all a great learning tool for kids. The scan features is very limited, however. It had difficulty distinguishing between the yellow Silicon atom and orange Phosphorus atom. It also was particular as to where you selected on the molecule. Fortunately, the app comes with a feature to manually select the correct atom where recognition fails. Good work.

We NEED this
People of happy atoms: PLEASE put in a manual for which elements go where (This is for when you put away the setup) it is just JAMMED when I put it in my closet. I also want to know why you have it delete all data when you switch sets, for example: What if you have the starter set and want to upgrade, You would have to do everything you have done AGAIN! I am very disappointed with this! I’s like you deleted the app then downloaded it again- IT’S SUCH A PAIN! So Please please please PLEASE fix this 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Love it 😍…but
First of all,I really love your game, but it could use and update.#1 some of the atoms are really big and it makes it super hard to scan and get them all right, if you can make so you can correct the atoms if it got one wrong it will be helpful.#2 I wish y had my own lab in the spaceship, and I could do my own research and be able to edit it and decorate it,#3 it is a little boring to just go around and scan atoms… if you can add a quest to save the atom world or something, it would be great. And that is all, thank you.

Great for Young Kids
My elementary-aged kids LOVE building molecules and learning about them with this app. I do have to help them sometimes to actually build the molecules, but the instructions are clear. The one major suggestion I have is to add voice options to the names of the molecules. My kids often pronounce the names incorrectly, which hinders the learning value.

More atoms and molecules
The app is good, but I know of argon and helium compounds and when I scan them, it says they don’t know it. Also you should add Boron and Aluminium because those complete the first two rows(arms should be three ionic with bonding sites and colors: boron: letters brown ball pink aluminium: letters pink and ball grey) and add 2 more arms to helium without bonding sites and 8 arms to Argon and the compounds I know of are 1 fluorine+1 argon+1 hydrogen, 2 sodium+1 helium, and 1 helium+1 hydroge(FArH, Na2He, HeH+)

great, but here is a bug and suggestion
1:the bug. basically i make CH8 which game out as a real frontier atom. when i explored it things went downhill. first, the camera error screen appeared. second, it has no name, render, and the element listing just show the atom “element”. everything else is just copied from methane. 2: the suggestion. more atoms, eventually the whole table.

It’s fun but…
…it’s not fun if the game never interprets the atoms right. I position my molecule to the right, it says my carbon atom is oxygen. I position my molecule to the left, it says my hydrogen atom is carbon. I flip my molecule, it says my oxygen atom is sulfur. With this happening, I can never find any molecules. I try a million times forever just to wait for the scanner to get it right. What do you know? It’s never right. What’s the point of playing this “fun, exciting, high quality, good for kids, amazing” game if it can’t do what it’s supposed to do? I’m just disappointed.

Great, but a bug.
This app is great, I have done all the atoms in Oxygen Expanse but there is one compound i cannot do. It opens the screen up to set it up for less then half a second and then closes it.
It is L-ascorbic acid. (C6, H8, O6)
I cannot finish oxygen expanse because i cannot open up this atom.
Is there any way to get past this bug?

Great but more!
I’m not getting any better molecules. I want some more stuff. You know? I want some more Noble Gases. You are not making enough of the other atoms. Maybe some of the more explosive ones would be more interesting ones.

Fun, addictive, instructional - AWESOME!
This app is an essential companion to the Happy Atoms experiment kits from Thames Kosmos. It is incredibly well done, one of the best educational apps I have ever seen. Our 10 year old got the kit as a gift, and his mom and dad are still awake trying to get “one more molecule”!
