Create your own inmate and attempt to survive in a prison where every sentence is a "death" sentence! Rub shoulders with up to 100 fellow inmates in a sprawling facility of 12 unique areas, each filled with fully interactive furniture and props. Plus a life beyond the gates populated by real civilians, with wardens enforcing dozens of different laws to keep you as far away from it as possible.
Each day, you will find your health and mental state slipping away. Both can be restored by sleeping - which is also a good way to pass time. You won't always be permitted to sleep, though, so consuming food and drink bridges the gap. These, along with many other activities such as reading or watching TV, can also help to improve your mental state. If you "lose your mind" you will temporarily lose control of your character - and will almost certainly get into trouble!
Your character also has a set of attributes that you are challenged to improve:
- STRENGTH indicates how much damage you can inflict or absorb. You can improve it by fighting or lifting weights.
- AGILITY determines how fast you move. You can improve it by jogging in the yard or scoring baskets.
- INTELLECT reflects your knowledge - including fighting skills such as counters. You can improve it by reading books.
- REPUTATION is how much other prisoners respect you. It can be improved by accomplishing tasks or intimidating others.
There are also opportunities to earn money - whether you work for it with a broom, trade items at a profit, or run with a gang. Having money increases your opportunities to grease the wheels and make your life inside easier.
You may find that you need to go to the toilet from time to time, in which case you must race to the bathroom! Alternatively, you could find a toilet to sit on or grab some toilet paper to spare your blushes. Failing to do so will damage your reputation and mental state.
I regret that there is more to this game than I could ever explain here, so I hope you enjoy figuring some things out for yourself!

Great game - a few suggestions...
This developer is amazing and his/her games are fun and probably my favorites in the App Store. It kind of gives a arcade Mortal Kombat/Mavel vs Capcom feel with the button layout. There are somethings to be said though.
Sometimes after watching a ad, you get stuck on the MDickie logo and are forced to restart the game. Usually it’s fine but sometimes it will actually send me back to before stages of the game which is a little annoying. Two suggestions I have for the dev. One, bots should have the laws enforced on them too, cause it’s a little angering watching a npc walk around with a gun and the cops don’t care, but when you pick one up they go insane and arrest you. Last suggestion is, updates! Updates keep the game new and fun to play! I haven’t played the game long enough to be bored of it, and it’s certainly not the most new looking game out there. These are just suggestions, you don’t have to listen, but it would be great if you would!

I’d really like to be able to see when walking/fighting in between cells. The cell walls are in the way. Maybe, make them transparent? And the NPCs grapple moves last way too long. Also, I’d like to see an option where we could initiate a relationship with another inmate/warden, instead of an NPC approaching you about it. And, when getting sent to court, I think it’d be better to have response selections for our rebuttal, Kinda like in School Days where we have to answer questions.. but instead we choose how to respond in defense of why we’re in court. But still let the judge’s ruling be random.

They have an ad at the top left of the screen taking up 1/4 of the screen. The mental health system is so horrible for example if u get in a “gunfight” with anyone u have to keep going to sleep through out the fight to keep ur “mental health” up or your character will straight up do what ever it wants leaving u powerless and ready to be killed by whoever ur fighting, and when u sleep it shows an ad that may or may not crash the game, 90% of the time the ad crashes the game for me. the gun play is the worst in history, Don’t ever count on ur shots hitting because they almost never do. The announcements drive you crazy, You’ll be trying to walk to another block to do a objective and their will be an announcement for something you do not care about, whenever somebody is let out from jail it will tell u and it’s sooooo annoying. In conclusion, I’ll enjoy the game a little bit if u don’t have as many ads and just completely dump the mental health system. but that’s just my opinion, A GAME OPINION

Super great! Just a few things though.
This is one of, if not my favorite ios game! It’s super addicting and fun! I could play it for hours, and i do. There’s not really anything bad about it, but you guys should update it more often.

Maybe add a few more parts of the map outside of the prison. And you should be able to go in the stores just like in School Days!
When i read books to get my intelligence up, i lose reputation SOO fast and it’s really annoying. Please make it so you don’t lose SOO much reputations from just reading a book. Or maybe add more things to help you get your intelligence up.

Fun but needs work
Becoming a cop has done nothing I literally can do nothing as a cop a civilian and a cop are the same thing in this game my other problem is the fighting cops can arrest you too easily with little effort Guns do little damage and How can the AI just pop up after I smack them with a pole/knife 15 times? But for me it takes about 10 seconds to get up I Feel like as a cop you should be able to arrest people or more people will respect you Also the ability to fire other cops because cops can arrest you for doing almost nothing the announcements need a rework because in the middle of a fight one of them will pop up and you’ll loose progress and The Ai will get back up or regain health it’s Extremely annoying I have no control over my character as that happens

Make an editor for the free version of the game
I like the game a lot but this game is lagging now without us being able to customize our character without having to upgrade to the VIP version of the game I would like to edit my character so I can become a warden of the US Department of Homeland Security which is what the wardens of this game are I would like to be able to have the opportunity to arrest other inmates as an inmate or a warden or a civilian I would like this game to also have security guards that would be part of the Transportation Security Administration part of the US Department of Homeland Security and I would like to be able to have no ads the wardens should have super hero restraints like in the heros game and be able to have a leg gun holster along with a bulletproof vest or reflective vest a helmet either bulletproof or European or even a police uniform cap etc

I like this game alot. Its really fun and addicting once you start playing. When you assault a warden you go to court and the judge can decide in favor of you or the warden. My character was charged with voyeurism (57 days) and on the inside i was charged with multiple homicides. I received 199 days. Your given a certain amount of days and you really gotta survive make money join a gang if not you'll be taken advantage of.
One of the complaint i have is the button glitch. The most common is the running or the taunting. I get frustrated sometimes cause it happens often i wish that could be fixed
The constant adds are always get in the way of me having fun.
If you cause enough damage to the population some of the inmates or wardens make your character will cry to the point where you cannot function with the buttons at all and it goes on auto pilot that really gets me upset!! That makes me not want to play. But i always find myself coming back to it. I recommend all my friends and family to play and they do. I would pay to do the multiplayer but I'm satisfied with the standard edition.

This game is so annoying
The devs:
I hate that they made it so u now have to pay for premium to make a custom character, shows that even devs of the small companies making the worst games can still be money hungry.
Ads pop up literally constantly every time u sleep and their always got terrible scam games

All be it goofy and kind of fun, and the only reason I gave it 2 stars, hard times combat is awful, if u get unlucky enough to have an intercom call wall ur in the middle of a fight, u may just find yourself locked in a head lock or a half crab watching your health drain and are unable to do anything. And it’s so annoying when you hit someone with the gun wall their down and the gun literally blows up, then *DING* annoying intercom call allowing a cop to arrest you right at the end of your sentence. And don’t get me started on the alarm. If u break the law and insanely loud alarm will play NON STOP until your arrested or out of the jail. The cops are stupid and you can dig a hole right in front of them without them doing anything, and can even serve your sentence wall your not in jail.
In conclusion

Why
I was being attacked by a random guy so I fought back with a gun I had. After hitting him a few times, the gun exploded and the guy I was fighting stopped attacking me for a few. Then a warden grabs me and (please note I was also a warden at the time) says I’m under arrest for attacking another warden. I was confused for a minute because the warden who arrested me was the only other warden in the room and he was far from the explosion. So I look in the corner to see who he’s talking about and the picture is ME. I was arrested for attacking myself. So I go to court and get a life sentence. I had a lot of progress with that character and a large amount of money. I also got all my stats to 100 percent. This was very frustrating for me because the whole fight was just me defending myself. So, if you could please fix this problem that would be great. Thank you for hearing me out.

Great game with one huge bug that ruins everything
Game is fun and hilarious, however, there is one bug that pops up out of no where and makes the whole game unplayable simply because you cannot proceed with the story.
When the MDICKIE logo pops up before an ad/commercial, that is when the bug kicks in and your game is forever stuck. After the AD is played, the MDICKIE logo will pop up on he screen and will stay there while you hear the gameplay progressing in the background. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get passed this issue and I’ve played this game on 2 phone with 6 different characters. I’ve had to restart every single time, I want to continue playing, but if I can’t finish my “Hard Time” sentence, and always have to restart with a new character build then it’s wasting my time. Please fix this bug of death
When the MDICKIE logo pops up before an ad/commercial, that is when the bug kicks in and your game is forever stuck.
