Haunted Hotel: Beyond the Page by LynxMinx
Although I generally like this series, I felt that this game was not innovative or unique in any way, manner or form. The HO scenes were boring, and most of the puzzles/games were either overly simplistic, of the rotational genre, or quite ordinary. At least there was a maze. However, the actual gameplay was fairly enjoyable. The graphics were blurry and lacked visual acuity. This game was extremely short, inclusive of the bonus adventure.
What I did notice was that there were elements of this game that were reminiscent of Mad Head. The creepy little girl, the maniacal clown, and the spider-like giant creatures were all featured in games developed by Mad Head. The storyline was even similar. Horror is not my favorite sub-genre, but I don’t mind if the game is excellent, which was not the case here.
The game ran smoothly, without any flaws or glitches. My actual rating will be 3.5 stars, because I found this game only slightly better than average. I feel it didn’t merit the hefty price tag. I wish Elephant would give us another Detectives United or Surface. They also need to increase the length of their games.

Haunted Hotel
Usual collectibles and morphing objects. The scenes in “odd land” with the deep pink purple coloring were difficult to see anything and did not keep my interest at all. The length was fine for me just kept my interest in only part of the game. Not a favorite. Your last few were fun play, more of those please.

Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE every Elephant game I’ve ever played. I have no complaints at all regarding the games, although not too long ago I sent an email and got a very rapid reply regarding my not being able to play the games because of the new update. What I forgot to ask in my email to you was if this is going to be a permanent problem or not, regarding the games I’ve already purchased? Will I never be able to play those again? Or is this just a temporary problem with a fix in the near future? I would really appreciate a reply. Thank you for your time. - A dedicated fan.

Glitches throughout the game..
The story was good but the game had so many glitches...it was so annoying. I didn’t see anyone else having this issue reported.
For example I’d be playing HOP game or clicking on scenes & it would freeze. I couldn’t do anything & my only option was to kill the game on my iPad Pro & launch it again & again. It was beyond frustrating. 🤯🤬
I bought this game because I love haunted hotel series, enjoy playing these games for fun & this game was a fun killer. So for that reason I’m giving such low rating. Needless to say I’ve wasted my $7 😭

For $7 I’d like longer gameplay or at least an introductory sale price. I still recommend this one though.

The graphics are great and storyline. It is way to short and the puzzles were not very difficult. I enjoyed it but it is way to short.

Can’t get needed object
Glitchy. I can’t retrieve the giant’s fingernail. Hint redirects me to the area if I move out of the scene. Scene is unresponsive, including hint, etc. Game was ok until this.

Game Stopped Working
I am towards the end of the game and I can’t get the nail because of a glitch in the game. Unfortunately I have emailed support many times and I have not gotten any help when it comes to resolving this issue. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
