Nevertales: The Abomination places you in the role of Anea, a young spellcaster, living in a land created from the imagination of real people. Your mentor is the most powerful mage of Inspiria, yet not even her can stand against the Abomination, a rising force of darkness and destruction. With the last of her power, she sends her best student, you, to visit the realm’s creator, a writer known only as Ballard, and ask for help.
Much to your surprise, Ballard is not the least bit interested in helping. In fact, to Anea’s horror, the Abomination is none other than a terrifying manifestation of Ballard’s personal destructive urges. With terror, you watch as the creator had turned against his own creation. You have to fight it, but it isn’t going to be easy. Also, saving the world is bad enough. Can you save four?

Welcome Back Mad Head!
Update: A really great game! So glad to see you back Mad Head. This was an engaging, challenging game. As a retired professor in the humanities, I am always amazed when the narrative, music, background knowledge, graphics, and the technological know-how thrumming in the background work so well together. Buy this game! And again many thanks to Lynx Minx and others who work to keep us playing these smart games. I played this game twice, just to see and hear it all again. It is a great value. 1st review—Great little bit I could play but game will not unlock. I emailed Mad Head and they are working on a fix. They responded really quickly but like me, I’m sure many of us are eager for a new game, esp. devotees of Nevertales!

Solid Mad Head game offering
For me, this was a good 4-star game, but because they offered a terrific 50% launch discount, I’m bumping it up another star - thanks Mad Head!
Almost done with the game, and everything has been running smoothly. They now have morphs in every scene as well as the hidden objects, and some are challenging to find, which adds to the fun. Game play is solid, game gadget of spell book isn’t annoying to use. Looking forward to future Mad Head game releases to ios!

Attention players! This is not a review or a rating. For those who cannot unlock the game, this is an App Store issue! We’ve seen it before. Please allow it time to be resolved. This is not the fault of Mad Head. Also remember to subscribe to the newsletter! This game is specially priced as well!
Update August 29: this really is an abomination, no pun intended. I still cannot unlock the game, although it seems everyone else can. It’s unfortunate, because I would have loved this game based on the free trial.
Next up for Mad Head will be Wanderlust: City of Mist. Also in a few days we will have a release from Friendly Fox in the Immortal Love Series.

Great game with new twists
I really enjoyed this game. My favorite aspect involved the spells. Unlike most other games where special powers are used immediately and are gone, this one allows you to use the spells multiple times. I really appreciated that.

So excited to see a game from this developer. It has been way to long. There is so much that I like about this game. I knew the problem would be fixed, so I waited to give this review. Great job!!!! Can’t wait to see more games from you.

Very good
A nice long game with lots to do. Once the purchase issue was resolved the game worked as expected. The puzzles are a little trite, but overall this is a very good game. Only problem I found was a slight touch issue. My real rating would be 4-1/2. Good to have you back Mad Head. Keep it up and you will have lots of followers.

Good so far but...
I want to purchase the full game. It’s telling me it’s 50% off right now yet it’s wanting to charge me $7.99. There’s no way the full price of the game is $16 rounded up. I’ll spend under $5.00 to play a game I’m only going to enjoy one time but more than that is too pricy for my logic.

Seems interesting but can’t buy it
I keep trying to purchase the game but it just sends me back to the main page. I’ve restarted and whatnot but this game doesn’t seem like it wants to be sold. The beginning is very interesting and I’ve loved this series so I hope this glitch gets fixed quickly.

Seems good so far but unfortunately it will not allow you to purchase. When you get to the unlock page and click, it just sends you to another unlock to purchase page and so on.
