Description

This application lets you generate detailed reports about your health data stored in Apple Health. You can export the report as a PDF file, which you can share with your doctor.

You can generate six different reports:
• Heart Rate Report: minimum, maximum, and average heart rate data, heart rate variability(HRV), graphs, and more
• Blood Pressure Report: scatter and simple line graphs of your blood pressure readings combined with the corresponding heart rate, body temperature, and 12-hour nutritional intake values(sodium, caffeine, carbohydrates)
• Blood Sugar Report: all of your blood glucose readings with nutritional intake values, heart rate ranges, and classifications based on your diabetes type
• Activity Report: four charts from your step count, burned calories, BMI, and body weight
• Sleep Report: visualized sleep cycles with heart rate data, asleep, awake, and in-bed times, nutritional values, and more
• Blood Oxygen Report: all of your blood oxygen readings with minimum, maximum and average data, combined with your heart rate info

The generated PDF or CSV file can be uploaded automatically to your iCloud Drive. The reports are available in 7 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Greek, Italian and Hungarian.

Advanced features include:
• If you use Apple Health to log your symptoms, you can display your symptoms on the report alongside with your measurements
• Support for Shortcuts, automating the creation of monthly reports and more
• Data can also be exported to a JSON file for more complex data analysis
• Annotate your report to provide more detailed information about specific records and values

My app also supports all three widget sizes: you can place a heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, step count, burned calories count, body weight, blood oxygen, BMI, water intake or heart rate variability widget on your home screen. You can customize the colors, units, and date ranges as-well.

For this app to work, you need to have health data stored in Apple Health(HealthKit). If you don’t have a device that records these data automatically, you can use my app too to enter your heart rate, blood pressure, and blood glucose data with a simple interface, where you can specify all three values on a single screen. Ideal if you don't have a smart blood pressure or blood sugar monitor.

I respect your privacy, so the report is generated on your phone and the data is not shared or transmitted anywhere. It works completely offline and I don’t have access to any of your health data at all.

Heart Reports is a FREE app and you can export 1 PDF file without paying a penny. Unlimited exports are available for a one-time in-app purchase.

Version 2.0 is here with major updates! Here is a rundown on what’s changed:

MORE REPORT TYPES
You can generate even more reports. There’s a separate new sleep, activity, and blood oxygen report available. I also updated the existing report types(heart rate, blood pressure, and blood sugar) to give you more data, like nutritional values, more precise resting heart rate, and body temperature measurements.

WIDGETS

You can place a bunch of widgets on your home screen: heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood oxygen, step count, burned calories, and more… you can even change the color of the widget to match your styling. All three sizes are supported.

COMPLETE REDESIGN
As you can see on the screenshots, the app has a completely new and fresh look. I also improved dark mode. Hope you like the changes!

SHORTCUTS SUPPORT
You can use the Shortcuts app with Heart Reports now to generate reports. This can be used to automate the process of generating your health reports, for example, to get a monthly report automatically made.

These are just the major changes, but there are also lots of smaller(and bigger) improvements:
• The report generation is a lot faster now

• Units can be overwritten in the app settings(temperature, weight, concentration)

• Improved contrast on the report
• Graphs are split into multiple graphs if there is too much data
• If there are multiple graphs on the report, the minimum and maximum values are the same on all graphs
• Each report features a new header with patient data and date range
• Improved add data screen: you can add heart rate, blood sugar, and blood pressure data from a single screen. Tap and hold the app icon to access this screen quickly
• Improved CSV export
• You can generate reports now even if you don't have heart rate data(for example you just need a blood sugar report and you enter data manually)

Hope you like these changes! If you have ideas or suggestions on how to make the app even better, please email me at [email protected].
If you're enjoying the app, please leave a rating and a review! And thanks for reading through this long changelog :)

The Real QRSAlpha,
Nearly perfect.
Great app. Closest thing to what I’ve been looking for. Three things would make a perfect health tracking app: (1) Ability to generate PDF charts for more than one year of data. Some people have 4+ years of data they’d like to see to compare long term changes. Far too many apps try to make fancy summaries of recent or daily data. I just want no frills, long-term, high resolution data points. This app comes the closest. I’m surprised that the Apple Health app does not do this with long term data (>1 yr time on *same page*, PDF report generation). 2) Ability to choose really any Apple Health biometric or value. Weight, BF, BP, VO2, etc. I realize this is a heart app, but there’s a huge opportunity to extend tracking to other parameters. 3) For this app in particular, would love it if we could ditch the tabulated data. Maybe an option to print just charts? Overall really pleased!
nodewalker,
Beautiful reports
I love this app. It is now so easy to send targeted reports to my doctor on a specific area we are watching. One of my recording apps can only output a single line summary but it sends all the data to the Apple Health app. With Heart Reports I can easily and quickly pull out just the health data area my doctor needs to see. With telehealth, I can no longer just hand my iPhone to the doctor, but upload the resulting report to a secure area. I contacted the developer about a problem generating a particular report. He responded almost immediately! It turned out to be operator error. I just needed to go to Settings app-Health-Heart Reports and enable two more items.
Mattyj2010,
Love This!
First app I’ve seen that lets you export health data in a user-friendly way. Been wanting this for years.

My only suggestions for the future really relate to the widgets. For a few data points (heart rate, steps), having the chart just show the current day to show variations by hour would be helpful. Also, a second layout option that only includes current values in large text size with no chart might be nice, since it’s hard to make sense of 30 little bars next to each other in a widget.

Those are small, though. This app is well worth the small one-time cost.
_Lorrie_,
Just what the doctor ordered!
Exactly what I needed to print out BP measurements for my doctor.

I ran into an issue where I couldn’t generate a report, but the developer reached out and we discovered that the app needs at least one heart rate measurement on the same day as the first recorded BP. I had a suitable workaround the same day and the developer had released a fix within a few days. Wow!

Great app and great support!
MiszterX,
Fantastic! Looking for further features
Szia Péter,

Your app is fantastic. I was looking for simlilar report generator long time ago.
Design and style are perfect.

May I suggest some rooms for inprovement?

Maybe there is technical limitation but,

- can you export full year? Not just half.
- can you export multiple years even create multiple pdfs?
- can you use more dinamic html export? More rich graphics, zooming, field hide, extract, compose.
- can you add more health input? (Sleep, water, etc. )

(Even use premium any as premium features and export it to your “cloud” as display)

If you make any betas to test i would love to join and test new version.

Wish the best for the further journey!

Sleep
Sleep option doesn’t work. It just shows time in bed, time asleep and time awake but not in the REM chart Apple Watch 4+ has and the information is all wrong. It’s saying my sleep total is 0 minutes when it’s not. Is there a way to show the stages of sleep and get the chart and data tables to be more in line with Apple Watch Sleep section? I’d like to see my stages of sleep over time.
Riptide360,
UI bug - large text size keeps export as PDF option unavailable
App has a user interface problem. If your iOS text size settings are set to use a larger font you can’t access the option to export as PDF. You only see the first option on the 1 export warning. You have to lower the text size to see and choose the export anyways option.
Kendo-ka,
App did not work at first.
Tried to export a report but constantly getting a message to “turn on all categories” when it is already “on all” for the app.

Update:
Their support was very responsive, but found a solution on my own. Had to delete the app completely and remove the data app before reinstalling the updated version. For some reason an “update” did not resolve the issue.

Will give it some time to collect more data but very good app so far and liking how responsive their team is.
Dude0u812,
Sleep portion is WAAAAY off
My average sleep is being reported as 15 hours and 27 minutes. That sure isn’t my data!

This thing is awesome in so many ways and $3 is a no brainer for what is should be able to do. But with sleep calculations so outrageously far off like that I’m hoping it’s an outlier rather than also a problem with other apps.

Developer needs to have a math whiz audit all the sections. And I’d like to see the PDFs show up normally rather than with the cute graphic frame. But this is well done otherwise and I hope he keeps it an active and actively improving app.

EDIT: I have installed “Autosleep” as well as “Pillow” (along with the stock Apple Sleep App). Latest OS, Autosleep primary choice for Apple Health counts.
sezduck,
Incredibly Valuable
Was frustrated with how difficult iOS makes it to export heart rate data in a readable format. This app made it super easy to export years of invaluable heart rate data to share with a cardiologist. Thank you!!
