bopbopbeepboop,
Great start!
This app is perfect for anyone running the GZCL methods, and being a free app, that makes it all the more accessible. Some suggestions I have after using this app for 6+ months:
-adjustable progression formula: men can go up by 5-10 pounds for their lifts easily, women find it easier to progress at 2.5-5 pounds. I have to adjust my lifts down every week because the app assumes I can make those 5-10 pound leaps, when I’m not
-make previous exercises visible!!!! I cannot stress this one enough. If I want to see how much I lift last Wednesday I have to go into that day and click “edit”…I’m not editing, I just want to see what I lifted. Right now the summary you see without the edit gives you total lifted (all your reps added together and all the weight added together), significantly less helpful
-some kind of progression graph would be amazing to see! Right now I just add my lifts into a spreadsheet so I can make my own graph, but it would nice to be consolidated together
IIIILLIIiillI,
This app is awesome and has TONS of potential
So far, the app is great for any of the GZCL programs. It looks very clean and straightforward to use.

As for some suggestions to further improve the app:

The inclusion of adding/removing exercises would be great to further customize our workout programs.

Adding some sort of graph to see our progress over time would be immensely helpful and cool to see.

Maybe add a General Gainz workout option wherein the user is able to create a custom template?

You could add some sort of FAQ page about the GZCL method as a whole, which runs down the definition of tiers and why you would pick one program over another so that people who aren’t too well informed about the principles of GZCL can have some guidance of what to do.

Other than that, I am eager to see how this app will grow since it has so much potential.
tr0njavolta,
Better than any app or spreadsheet
I was using a google sheet page to track my progress and it was super annoying. All other apps are bloated with terrible ads or just not functional enough.

This is customizable, non-intrusive, and straight forward.
DrDuktayp,
Nice features
I’m tired of printing off worksheets and wanted to use my phone. I discovered this new app and even found an active GZCL community on Reddit and the author is active there.

It’s pretty intuitive but hopefully there will be directions and other requested features soon.

I’m torn between 4 and 5 stars.
Doc Pettit,
Too basic
It seems like it could be an awesome app, but there just aren’t any features. The rest times are different than what the gzcl program recommends, you can’t use it with multiple devices (like an iPhone and an iPad ), and there are no instructions on the app on what to even do. I guess it’s made for people who already know a lot about the program and the app is just a supplement. Hope it gets improved though.
Trey032378,
Pretty good app
Loving the workout plan so far. Only issue I e had so far is trying to add a new exercise that is not already on the list. After adding the exercise name, muscles, equipment, and saving it all it does it place the triangle symbol on the list but no name or data that was entered. Otherwise it’s going good so far.
Anonoduck,
Would love to see a 'total workout time' added
Would love to see a 'total workout time' added as a feature. I like to keep mine around an hour, so being able to track that workout after workout would be great.
yo_vinny,
Value input needs work
Changing reps and weight within each workout needs to put keyboard behind the current value instead of in front. Or it should automatically clear the value instead of having 0 by default.

Great app but the input functionality needs to be cleaned up.
laenablue,
Good app, would benefit from login feature
Got a new phone and lost all of my workout history and stats :( the app would benefit from being able to login and save your progress, or possibly export your stats at least to save them locally if you ever switch devices. Really sad to have lost all my stats :(
Keri McGuire,
App of the Day
Pro version was supposed to be free today on App Advice’s free app of the day. There is an automatic banner that pops up telling me I don’t have internet access and can’t upgrade to pro for free. Apparently since I’m posting this here and was able to download the app, my internet is fine. This smells like a bait and switch. If it’s not, open it back up for free, otherwise, I'm contacting the app advice app and letting them know this was a scam to get more downloads.
