I only downloaded the game about an hour ago, and I’m far from an analytical player (plus I’m still just getting my “sea legs” back after not having played hearts in years. But so far I’m very much enjoying this app. There’s a single banner ad across the bottom of the screen and that’s it for ads (yay! Though I would still like to have the option to make a one-time payment to remove that banner); play is otherwise completely uninterrupted, which is a beautiful thing in this age of ads that constantly interrupt the playing experience. I’m playing on Hard mode, which offers challenging (for me) and fairly realistic play; I notice that I don’t get passed high hearts as often as I would expect human players to, but maybe the computer to my right just seldom has them or maybe it thinks it wants to shoot...though the latter is unlikely given the high cards I tend to get in the deal.

Anyway, I’m enjoying the game a lot so far and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good hearts game that doesn’t kill its own experience with ads (why do so many developers make their own products awful? Who would think that’s a good idea?).

It provides what you want out of a game of Hearts. I found however the AI (on Easy) can sometimes feel like they’re all colluding against you lol (strangely convenient hands where all 3 players had the lowest cards of a suit hand after hand). This nuance happens too often to the point that you definitely can tell your 3 adversaries are really just one AI working to compete against you, rather than 3 separate AI with clearly random hands.

I’ll still rate 5 Stars though because it still does Hearts well. I noticed if you play on the hardest difficulty by the way, the AI players feel a lot more natural and the randomization of the deck between the 3 players doesn’t feel doctored to beat you like on Easy.

Fun. However after playing hearts for over 60 years, I have never seen such strange (statistically improbable) card distribution. In addition, I have rarely seen so many times that the first time a suit is played, almost every player plays a low card - instead of a high (or relatively) card.

Except for the above two statistically improbable occurrences, the game is reasonably entertaining. It would be better if you addressed the two issues which I have commented on.

When I want to play a card game on my phone, I do not want to be interrupted every other minute by advertisements. I don’t need eye-popping graphics or amazingly complex backgrounds with plot lines and animated characters. I want simple, easy-to-read card faces and clear rules. This Hearts game is perfect. I get all I need to entertain myself for a hand or two; I am able to play and walk away, as my day permits. I am satisfied and pleased by the ease of playing, and I am happy to recommend this version of Hearts to my friends.

Best Hearts game app of all I've tried. Medium gives the best games; card deals in the hard level make that level not fun to play. In Medium, Earthy and possibly others will often play the Queen ♠️ when they have lower ♠️s in hand and are not trying to shoot the moon. Figured out finally that a Shoot the moon earns you 30 points and each Q♠️ successfully played so an opponent takes trick earns you 4 points. Would be nice to have had that explained. Concur with others for the ability to adjust card play speed or a slight delay after a trick is taken to let you see what was played.

Good game to waste time on. it’s competitive enough to keep playing on the hard setting. It’s just you and the computer, if that’s what you like. No wizz bangs when you win, will keep you thinking. I found that easy is Not always ( easy). Lot more changes for a moon shot but you could get blasted on the end with lots of points. One thing tho, you can always tell when it’s the comp turn to win by the cards you get and the leads. Kinda like it knows what you have. I also see that alot in Tricker Euchre game I play.

Unlike many card games, you can set the speed of play for this game in the settings. And it can go really fast. You don’t have to sit there and wait for each agonizing card to drop for each trick. They just fly around the table, at the speed you set.
I’m thrilled with that!
You can also set the difficulty, etc., in settings. Very nice.
Also, very few ads. Please keep it that way.

Been playing this game for several months. Had to get used to the speed at which the cards fly across the table, but eventually could see what was played. If i could change anything it would be to slow things down and allow players to see the cards played in each other’s hand.
