Bts4life💕,
Some things I wish could be changed!
The app is absolutely wonderful and there’s really nothing to complain about but the only thing I will say is that when you click on the part where it says Siddur and you click any of the little icons unfortunately they are in Hebrew and you can’t translate them and sadly I don’t speak, read, or write in Hebrew do I can read any of the parashahs ets it would be lovely if you guys can make some translations on how to pronounce the Hebrew or have a side by side kind of translation and having someone read it out loud would be wonderful! Other then that there isn’t much to complain out. 10/10 would recommend getting.
MSS21,
Most annoying ads I’ve ever seen in any app
Updated: discarding this app. Second paragraph explains why.

This looks like a good app but my first time using it I was shocked and very disappointed. An ad penetrated and totally took over the screen and then was followed immediately by another one. It was not obvious till I flipped through a few screens how to exit it. I’ve never seen anything like this before on any app and I don’t want to again. I’ll give this app another chance but if this happens again I’ll delete it and just stick with the simpler but ad-free CalJ.

The developer’s only response to these issues is “we don’t fully control ads” and “try our subscription”. I have a lot of apps and I’ve never seen ads that just totally hijack an app like this. You can’t tell me you can’t control this. Why should I pay you when you show such little respect for your users? I wouldn’t know whether I want the subscription till I try out the free version. But I can’t because the ads totally take over and it isn’t easy to make them go away. Well, actually it is: throw away the app. Which I’ll do right now.
QuinceButter,
Cant reach Support-
I really want to love this app. I can see there is lots of wonderful information but the vast majority is only in Hebrew. I have read the reviews and I have tried the suggestions by the developer. They don’t work. If you click daily from the main calendar page it brings you to Sefaria. It does not really give you the prayers in English. There is no way to read and understand the majority of the site unless you already know Hebrew. I tried out support and even that is 100% in Hebrew. I think this is not meant for English speakers or anything but Hebrew speakers. My entire device is all set in English and that did not change what I see on this app. I follow that advice from the reviews also. Nothing I can find works. I also think there should be an option to pay some amount per year besides the amount per month.
Dizzy stars,
I’m so glad I found this
The calendar that comes with iPhones basically ignores most Jewish holidays and all of the other days so important to us - religious Jews, I mean. My husband has a good Jewish calendar app on his phone so when I searched the App Store I discovered this one.

Not only can I use it to find out when, for example, all of Pesach is, this calendar also includes anything I enter into the one that came with my iPhone. This makes things very convenient.

I still use the one from Apple to schedule appointments, etc., because it’s convenient and Im familiar with the many ways to enter events, etc. But if I want to look something up, or need to know what day, month or parsha it is, I’ll come to this app. I think I use it maybe 2-4 times a week. But this is only about a month since I downloaded it.

I won’t be that surprised if, a year or so, I’m using this one regularly and the Apple one only now and then.
joe1845.com,
Incredible work
I was producing a video slide show about history and I urgently needed to know which day in week and the Jewish month and day and parshah of aug 7th 1945 so I downloaded it thinking that Maybe at least I would have the day of the week (if it would scroll fast enough...) but guess what, I open it up and I see right away “convert date” I’m going in and I was totally shocked of what I saw every detail I was getting in seconds!!!! It halted me so much thx a million!!
SKinGN,
A true m’tziah
I can’t find my tikkun, and I must read Tazria in two weeks. What to do? Suddenly I found this app. Problem solved. No need to print out pages that can’t be destroyed except by burning. No need to do anything but open this app in my phone wherever I am. Whomever created this app has done a huge mitzvah and has my absolute gratitude. Thank you.
dm, rein,
Great free service
A good app is always appreciative and especially when the developer share it for free (I can’t understand the chutzpah some people have to give negative reviews when they receive something for free, “entitlement people” is all I can say)

Keep up the great work
a . wizz,
Issue with new update
Hi your app is an awesome amazing app not just the calendar also all the other options out there
Since my last update there is a bug when you try use any of. Features like
Zmanim or converter etc it pops up a screen with a line of words and it literally freezes
Would appreciate if you could fix it so to keep enjoying the app
Thx
ChanaBear,
Dressing a half-naked Women for an ad???
Rather shocked when I opened the app to pray and an ad for a “game” came on which consisted of dressing a woman wearing very little clothing prior to a man entering her apartment with flowers. He looked at her, shrieked and fled - and the ad implored us to “help the girl”. Awful violation of tznius on several levels, incredibly sexist and disrespectful of women. How could you allow this in the same app with Torah texts? This ad desecrates Torah and traditional Jewish values. Shame on you.
RabbNinJew,
The best calendar!
This is an exceptional calendar which is “chock-full” of Torah and General Jewish resources. The user interface is also very good and smooth for both an English speaking user, as well as a Hebrew speaking user. When you have added comparability and a “complication” for the Apple Watch, I will upgrade my rating from four stars to five stars!
