With a single tap on the camera image, Helioseek will start reverse calculations that tell you exactly when the Sun will be at a certain spot. This is awesome if you want to take that one perfect picture, with the sun perfectly lighting up your spot. If you found a shot that you like, you can save it to view it later.

Helioseek‘s beautiful Sun Map let‘s you plan ahead for every spot on earth. You can easily see where the sun shines at any time. On top, Helioseek also shows you the Sunset, Sunrise, and the Golden and Blue Hour right on the map. Set the date with the simple slider or by using the date picker, and find out how the sunlight changes during the year - live, without any waiting times. You can quickly find any place on earth with the integrated search, and view the map in three distinct styles.

For Photographers and Videographers, sun light can be the key to gorgeous shots. The golden hour is perfect for warm, dreamy portraits. Ty_Anderson987,
Great beautiful widgets: Edit
The only thing I like to add is like the sun move during the day like every 30 minutes or 10. And add the word version of the widget as a separate one, it took me like 20 minutes to try find the word widget

Edit: Developer updated the app and it does everything better, widgets looks good, 5 stars
HandCoding,
Almost good but still rough around the edges
This app is almost good, but it’s still rough around the edges. Among some oddities:
• The graph of the sun’s path (which you can see in the app’s third App Store screenshot) has its axes labeled using 24-hour time even though my locale doesn’t use 24-hour time.
• There’s a setting to “use current location” for the AR mode, but no such setting for the Today View widget. So if you travel a bunch for work or whatever, and if you want to use the Today View widget, I hope you like manually setting your location over and over.
• The Today View widget includes some yellow vertical lines that signify something, but it’s never explained what those yellow lines mean.

To the developer: I don’t mean to get you down with these comments, and I hope that you keep at it. With some polish, this app has the potential to be pretty good in time!
AppleChucker,
Nope
It jumps around. The time keeps changing. It is not smooth-panning.

Enjoy my $.099. App deleted.
Slithy Toves,
Won't stop making new photo albums
Not sure why the developer feels the need to make a new "Helioseek" photo album over and over. You can delete it, but the app will make it again. And again. And again.
MB500AMG,
Awesome app
Please make the sunrise and sunset times on the widgets little bit bigger. Thank you...great job !
