This app is awesome. First of all, this is the first app I’ve ever come across to allow you to upload photos and videos, delete them from your phone, and still go back and watch them at FULL quality in the app. I’ve imported 100+ items, and it only took me 3 seconds AT THE MOST to import them. The app runs smooth, I don’t even think I’ve seen a single add, and best of all, it lets you disguise the starter screen. Instead of opening the app asking for a passcode, (which is a dead giveaway to anyone trying to HIDE something), you can change the disguise screen to something like a calculator, or a random daily joke, or a crash screen to act like the app crashed. Honestly, overall the best app to anyone who is trying to hide sensitive photos or files 👌🏽.

Amazing, but note…
This is the best secret app for photos and videos on the market! However, it has bugs.
1: I’ve noticed that when albums go over 100 images, it tends to crash upon opening that album. This can easily be avoided by making a new album. I am using over 50 albums and it doesn’t have issues
2: adding captions/stories/logs are annoying and long in the notes, I avoid this by saving my captions/stories/logs as pdfs
3: I have found that the unhide button is unreliable for two reasons. It saves everything that was selected into your camera roll as jpgs. This means that moving images and HD images are saved as lower quality static images. This can be avoided by selecting the “save image” button(below move image)
4: Finally, I have noticed that videos are very hard to remove with the same quality that they were uploaded with. Be sure it is safe to stay on the app before deleting it on the device
Beyond these 4 simple bugs, this app it amazing. How many apps can you say have only 4 small annoyances?

Recent Problem
I’ve been using this app for about a year and it’s been great. However, recently I noticed that the videos I’ve been transferring over to the app haven’t maintained their original quality. Whether the videos are 1080p or 4K, they end up converting to what seems to be 360p quality when transferred to app.

I feel like this app works great even if you have a lot of photos and videos. There are some downsides for example once you have a lot of photos and videos the app becomes a lot more slow. Another thing is that sometimes happens is your videos lose their audio idk why it does this but it’s sometimes frustrating. Another pretty big annoyance is when you want to save something or delete it it doesn’t do the task at all and it’s still in your regular image folder on your phone

Fix this now please
So I’ve had this app for a good year now buuut I just noticed this problem you can find any image you downloaded simply by going to the Search on iPhone and anything starting with image or whatever title the file would have would show up in search. Do fix this if you can and I will give you a five since I’ve never really had a problem till now.
(One more thing I’m using an iPhone 7 just checking to see if it only occurs on just this model.)

Worked great for a while….
Been using for a couple of years. Worked great and had all the features I wanted. However, now it crashes when I try to add photos to an album. I opens, allows me to select option to add photos from my gallery, but then crashes after about 5 seconds. Perhaps there is an unpublished limit to the number of photos? I tried emailing customer support but no response yet. I will upgrade my rating if they respond and fix my problem.

Easily compromised
If you are forced to open the app using the escape or decoy password, the perpetrator can easily reset the actual PIN because the menu allows you to change the PIN even though you logged in using the escape or decoy password. Furthermore, the app doesn’t require you to enter the original PIN before you are allowed to change the PIN.
It’s quite silly to design the app this way. The idea of an escape or decoy password is to open the app into a different folder, and the PIN option should not be shown unless you enter the PIN. It’s so silly to allow a perpetrator to reset the real PIN simply by clicking on the option to change the PIN.

Lost pictures
Genuinely i love this app. It has never gave me issues until recently, I got a new phone and when I signed in my iCloud on the new device it wouldn’t let me download the HIP app because it needed to be updated. So it forced me to delete the app and redownload the update and when I did all my pictures and videos where gone 😥 does anybody know a way I can find them or is it a loss? Please if you can I have some pictures in there with a deceased lover and thats all the memory i have.

What I love shot this app is that you get what they are claiming to give you. So many other apps, especially apps of this purpose, limit you to a certain amount of pictures or things you can do, before they start to ask for money. I absolutely love this app. Thank you thank you thank you.

Ive been using this app for years and I’ve never really had a problem with it until the recent update. For some reason when I open the app and choose a picture it won’t allow it to go to full screen to view it. It makes me close the app and reset it. Sometimes it takes more than one reset. Please fix.
