Hello! I enjoy this app a lot. I’ve had the old isilo version for years but this app is a major improvement and a lot easier to use. I love all the options with highlights and annotations. Thank you for keeping it maintained and updated. May the good Lord continue to bless your commitment!
I have a suggestion for highlights. I like it that the highlighting is color coded. I use different colors for different types of verses, such as I used grey color for verses that I am not clear about and want to revisit in the future, green color to highlight verses pertaining to relationship and growth in the Lord, etc. I would like to see a way to filter the highlights based on the color where you narrow your highlights by color and thus focus on specific theme of verses. Thank you very much!

Amazing app
Works very well and is very user friendly. I love how there is an official version by LSM available now because before you had to get a third party app which did not work great all the time. The translation for this version from the original Hebrew is second to none.
There are a few more features that need to be added for it to be 5 stars for me.
Just need to add cross device profiles (maybe login with apple) so any annotations and highlights I make on my iPad will carry over to my phone. I also would like having this so that in do need to purchase the full version multiple times. It says it the description of the app that family sharing is available allowing in-app purchase will be carried across the family but right now it is not carried out on the same Apple ID.
Having automatic dark mode where it adapts to the device settings would also be nice because you need to manually do it which is annoying.
Having an option for the swipe left to go to the previous verse instead of going to search for a verse would nice. This is how it is in most other iOS apps so continuity would be better. Having the swipe right be a combo of the verse selection with the search field being on top would be nice.
If these feature are added it is a definite 5 stars.

Great Bible with many great features
Although no one translation of the Bible can convey the full meaning of the original text, the Recovery Version is the best I have found in my 20 years of study of the Bible. The English rendering is very accurate according to the original word and structure. Some other features I love:
1. The study notes are extremely helpful especially for the believers who seek not only knowledge but also the experience of Christ.
2. The outlines are espeically helpful in understanding the bird's-eye-view of each chapter/book according to the overarching theme of the Bible (God's economy—1 Tim. 1:4).
3. The search feature is excellent with many functionalities (you can also search by footnotes)

Love reading the Bible on this app!
Great interface; love the bookmarks and ability to annotate. Easy to find bookmarks, so you can be reading in different portions and still find your place. Also like the highlighting and that you can see a running log of the portions highlighted. Would love the ability to highlight only a phrase, instead of the whole verse. Also came across a scrolling issue when reading longer chapters - it will snap back up when I try to scroll down (eg. Lev Chp 13). Would love if this could be fixed!

My favorite version of the Bible to study with!
Growing up as a Christian, I’ve had so much trouble trying to understand the Bible and really only had a shallow understanding of the Scriptures. But with the help of all the cross references and study notes of the Recovery version, I’m able to gain an even deeper understanding of God’s Word and develop a more intimate relationship with Him. I’m so happy there’s finally an app so I can carry all these riches in my pocket everywhere I go! 😄👏

Multiple profile feature is wonderful!
I appreciate being able to create profiles that allow me to keep my place and notes separate for my Bible reading. It makes it easy to keep my place. Sometimes just the discouragement of losing my place keeps me from regularly daily reading the Bible. This app has helped me read the Bible every day. I am reading in the Old Testament and the New Testament, and I feel so nourished!

I very much treasure my physical copies of the recovery version Bible. The footnotes, outlines and cross-references have brought me so much enlightenment and appreciation for all the books of the Bible. I’ve been waiting for this app a long time. Fantastic Translation
This is a fantastic translation of the Bible that stays close with the original Hebrew and Greek while remaining understandable.
The in app purchase unlocks the footnotes and outlines for each book of the Bible which allow you to enter into each book in the way of study.
Without the purchase you get the book of John as a preview to what these notes contain. Which help to unlock the verses in a very clear way interpreting the Bible with the Bible.
The reason for 4 stars is I think it would be nice to be able to highlight and make annotations on the footnotes themselves instead of just the verses.

The annotation and highlighting needs some improvement. When i want to read my annotated notes, it gets a little boggy. I cannot open the notes fully. Some of the notes I have are from the life study for future reference but when its time for me to read those notes it not so easy. It shows up as a text box and its a little difficult to scroll through.
