Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! is a wacky spy-agency sim game where you manage your very own spud spy headquarters! Recruit new spies, train and enhance your potato team, discover and build crazy gadgets, vehicles and facilities, and embark on top-secret missions!
Play as twins Ren and Rexa, who set out on a journey to discover the truth behind their parents’ disappearance with the use of their spy skills. Outwit and outsmart security personnel, bust through the sturdiest of doors, and hack some of the most complicated security systems! You will be the unseen hero in the shadows, using your intelligence, charm, stealth and strength to take on the enemy and fulfill your missions.
Infiltrate enemy headquarters and sabotage their evil plans, use genetic splicing technology to create new spies and recruit legendary spies, and encounter pop-culture secret agents such as Justin Powers, Harry Fart, and Ezio de Frenzy in your quest to uncover the larger truth in Holy Potatoes! The game now runs on older devices that use the A7 processor: iPhone 5S, iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Mini 3. Please note that we were unable to test on devices older than the ones mentioned.

Fun for awhile
This game has a beautifully realized art style and fun lite-management features. After a few days I stopped launching the game because it felt a bit shallow. But sim/management games are my favorite so I may have judged the game a bit harshly or expected more than was promised. I don’t regret the purchase though as I love seeing non freemium apps in the store.

I think as far as design and animation are concerned Daylight Studios is second to none. They just have a style that is consistent and pleasing and it extends to every area of the games they create.
To bad that most of time I can’t enjoy the beautiful scenery because their games have me wildly tapping my screen desperately trying to utilize every single second to get that $tarch so that I can get that next upgrade that will just make me work harder. Wait! Are all of these games just a commentary on the futility of business?

Really fun, but problem with save files
Every time before quitting the game, I save the file. When I come back to the game, the save file doesn’t match my progress. I decided to delete the game because I was sick of having to replay what I’ve already played.

I first got introduced to this game by DanTDM, AND I LOVE IT! The story, spies, idea, AMAZING!!! Don’t ever change it.
