Fun game, small issues PLAYERS WHO HAVE HAD MARKETPLACE ISSUES READ THIS

I'm glad that finally someone developed a similar game to the sims freeplay. This game is fun and has a hayday meets sims vibe. Two of my favorite games. I haven't liked sims freeplay for a long time now because of the outrageous amount of time it takes to complete tasks, and just how overwhelming it got in general. I've been looking for a good replacement for a long time now and am happy to see developers finally put this out. There's not a lot of competition in this category and I can't figure out why as it seems to be a popular game concept. There are a few issues with the wallpaper option where I've lost coins because it's crashed after a purchase (not real money). Hopefully the developers can work to fix this issue as decorating your home is a major part of the fun in this game.

--Marketplace problems? I had the same problem. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. My suggestion is to do what i stated above, delete then reinstall and only make the products that your "job inbox" is asking if you. That way you will eventually get rid of and profit off of the things you have produced and you'll be making room in your storage. I am close to level 14 and I've had the game for 2 days. Good luck!

Only issue is the marketplace and diamonds

Enjoy playing this game but when I press the “refresh” button, because all of the items from various people are sold, I get more people and the have all of their items sold too. What??!! If I press the “refresh” in the marketplace I don’t mind seeing an item or two sold that was purchased by other players but to give me people that have ALL of their items sold is just stupid. Then I have the choice of either waiting 10 minutes or using diamonds to refresh again. First off if I was going to spend gems knowing that I might get just as bad of a deal I got the last time why would I. Also I have read that you have “made adjustments” to the market place from where people are complaining that it doesn’t update automatically. IT STILL DOESN'T UPDATE AUTOMATICALLY!! Yes I am glad that all my items sell but the “computer neighbor” will stay there the entire day with still the same items sold.

Now with the diamonds issue. Yeah I understand that you guys are developers to make money and probably in school too but you need to make a way that players can earn diamonds too. You have your level ups and your achievements that is a good thing but I think there is something else that you can do that will keep players interested and earn diamonds at the same time. Not saying give them out everyday but on occasion.

The Clock Is Ticking!

I’ve played Home Street from its beginning and enjoy it for the updates that come regularly to keep the game fresh. To me, it’s less a simulation game and more a player-driven time management game where you work against the clock to meet random orders for product so you can upgrade your level and workstations to increase your options. It can be a relentless pace as there are ships that must be filled with orders, game show competition orders to be filled, event orders to be created, functional items like pets and cars to be “fed,” well, you get it. All these tasks are timed. You can chat with other players in your “neighborhood” (clans) and help out other players by visiting or buying and selling in the market. You can change the name and appearance of your avatar and direct it to do several simple actions, but for the most part, it plays on its own.
[REVISION] Previously, I had reduced a star for taking away our control of the game to walk us through the Bingo, the Game Show and other non-essential announcements. Those announcements ate into our timing for fulfilling orders. Bingo just started for me and an option to skip the tutorial is available: HUZZAH! 5-star game now. 👏Thanks, Devs.

Fun, but...

I have to drop back from five stars to three because this game is vastly becoming a money racket. I wouldn’t mind spending $5 here and there, but I’m finding that in order to level up (I’m now on Level 26) you have to increase storage—and there are not enough gems for that, even if you can afford a package. Not feeling it. Also, the issue with the market—nothing updates itself after being bought, which is an issue because in case a player really needs an item, it shows available but in reality, it’s not available—is very irritating. And the storage? Jeez! I’m selling items I need to complete jobs in order to make room to collect items and it’s just a complete mess. Another issue I’m having is removing people as bookmarks and adding more. I can remove them and they’re still showing up as bookmarked and I can’t figure out why. The game is also crashing more often than not, and jobs I completed are not completed when the game restarts. I don’t know if the influx of players and the game’s growing popularity is doing it, but it’s past annoying! Maybe I need to chill, as I’ve noticed other players doing, until you guys work at fixing some of the most basic issues the game poses.

Changes Just Made This. A Pay to Play Game

I am disappointed and angry that you have decided to stop allowing the buying and selling of rare items. I understand that there is a need to make money for the developer to continue to improve the game and allowing them to make a profit for their hard work, but I can’t imagine that wasn’t already happening due to the very low probability of getting a rare and the sheer number of rare items needed to even consider upgrading. It was a balance I was willing to work with by catching what I could on the market and filling in the rest with gems. Under these new rules it will be impossible to upgrade your inventory slots without shelling out lots of dollars. Without the upgrades the sheer number of items you can make as you increase in levels will not allow for any inventory on hand and everything will have to be made as you go. With items taking hours to complete that is a ridiculous and frustrating way to play a game. And one I’m not willing to continue to play if changes are not made. This was a great concept for a game. It’s a shame greed will be its downfall.

Dislike New Jobs Layout Enough to Play Less

I’m not enjoying the new jobs layout. I used to be able to see all of the jobs at once and see what supplies I needed. Now I keep forgetting and having to click them all to see, or get mixed up and forget which one I’ve already clicked. Not to mention that when I complete a job it takes so much longer, with time wasted watching the characters talk and money being thrown into the air. I used to like quickly finishing multiple jobs in a row.

I do like the new tokens event, aside from rarely earning the tokens I really need. I guess that comes with being what it seems like as one of the few higher level players that doesn’t put money into the game.

A lot of neighborhoods delay playing events, so I’ve learned to ask neighborhoods when I first join if they do this. They delay playing events until the last few days of it and then play full force so they can be put up against less competitive teams who are going at a slower pace. I personally don’t like to do this because I like to actually play more than I care about winning the prizes. To each their own though.

Hello parents , teens , kids , I MAKE REAL REVIEWS your welcome I will be going on what appropriate and inappropriate First of all I this when i was like 8-9 it was ok I deleted it when I was 9 And now I’m here 2023 at 12:23 am looking through all my old games , and doing reviews bc I love reviews. So let’s get on to the real review First off some clothing is inappropriate(under wear , bras , or swimming suits) most of it is appropriate, but you know those 8 year old boys looking at that… 2ed it’s to hard , there’s so much to do , it’s great , but also bad , there’s to much to do , some things you can only do once , and then it’s over until the next day , and then all your doing for the rest of the game is building or talking to friends 3rd chat …. Is inappropriate, just bad , there’s online dating going on, you don’t want to online date , it’s bad , you don’t the real age , trust me , they talk about bad stuff not just cuss words … no , grown ups you know what I mean , and I’m a kid.. and I know what it mean ,the neighborhoods or stuff like that is being named inappropriately
4th friends can be inappropriate to you , and also I haven’t seen in parent settings
5th not good for kids under 14 or 12 depends if they are mature but this is not a 9+ rating …

Very very upset!

Very very upset! Three days ago after new update, every time I go to try to play the game it will act like it’s loading and then it goes away. I play every day multiple times a day and I’m very upset that I cannot play at all, all I keep getting told from homestreet Supersolid support is that they are trying to fix this issue but don’t know when it will be resolved. My friend is able to get on and play I don’t understand why I am not able to. I’ve done everything I could on my end I deleted the game and re-booted it and it still would not come up, so if I have lost all of my stuff I am going to be one mad person because I’ve paid so much money for this game and on this game and have so much stuff in this game. I will prob get kicked out of my neighboor hood which I love so much because I have not been playing, becaus I can’t! I wish someone would figure out a solution so that I can play again. I’m very frustrated and I don’t understand why it is taking so long to fix! I am addicted to this game and without it the past serval days it has really upset me. I love this game! Please get this fixed ASAP! This has never happened to me. I literally can not get on the game at all. Why?

Great Game!

When I first got this game, I didn’t think I’d like it and planned to delete it later, but I just tried it for a couple days and love it! ❤️it is really fun and addicting! It is a little confusing at first, because of all the things your can click on. But there are a few things I wish were different. First, I wish the furniture/decor wasn’t as expensive because I always spend a lot of money on them, especially the workshop ones that they force you to buy. So PLEASE make them less expensive. Or just give me money frequently, not just when I level up or complete a job which just gives me like $15 which is not enough money to buy decor. Also, small thing, but I just noticed that my character just stands somewhere and randomly starts making weird faces at literally no one. It’s really weird and dumb, change that please (i know it’s a small thing that probably I only care about but it’s just plain weird!)Also, could u make the pets less expensive! 😐I really want a dog but they are too expensive and I don’t know where to get the ticket things. 👎

Cool app

This game is pretty awesome. I love how you can design the way you want. But sometimes all the job things and the missions are a little confusing. Like I don’t know how the whole like your friend will leave stuff I your mailbox or the thing that you need just to invite your friend over. It’s kind of confusing and kind of a poor way for people to come over to your house because what if you don’t have one of those things you need for someone to come over? How do you get them? So that is my question. Also when you level up the jobs get confusing. Like to get ink you need one of those friend hand thing to get it. How do you get those? Do your friends give them to you???? 🧐 Other than that, I have very little complaints and I would suggest this app for people. I am so so so so so so so so so so so so ANGRY. I have left home street for like 2 hours and there are still people at my house walk-in aground NOT LEAVING. I am SO annoyed. And I can’t tell the to go away because you can’t say that. I am SO AGRAVATED. WHY CANT YOU SO CAN YOY PLEASE LEAVE. THEY AFE RUNNING AROUND MY HOUSE DOING EVERYTHING WH N I WANT THEM OUT!!!!! Please fix this I DONT UNDERSTAND!
