The main categorization of events is by Happening Soon, Trending, and Newly Posted. There are all types of events; from art and concerts to sports and theater, there is something for everyone. If you don’t find anything interesting, you can search events by keywords based on your interest. Once you find an event you can see photos, details, location, ticket prices, and more. Then you can start searching for Hula buddies to go to the event together.

Great App! Highly Recommend
When I first joined the app I didn’t think it would be as great as it turned out. I was able to meet some amazing people as well as check out events I would have never hear about before. The great thing is you can find all different type of events that range from concerts & parties as well paint and sips or museum exhibits. They are now available in 8 different cities and growing. They also have started an ambassador program with amazing perks! Make sure to download and check it out 🥳

A great app to get back to the new normal
Ever since the pandemic, I stayed at home for the most part and rarely went out. As more people get vaccinated, I begun to go out more often. However, I found it difficult to meet new people and explore new events as my friends and I have grew apart. This app is designed so that I can see what’s happening around me and who’s interested in these events. I look forward to finding more timeless and meaningful moments via the app.

Great App to download
I came up this app on Instagram and it looked interesting so i checked it out. After downloading, there were so many events to choose from and so many people to find a Buddy for an event. It’s a great app for those who love socializing and those who have no friends to find friends to go out to these events. I would definitely recommend this app for all.

Brilliant idea and solved my struggle!
I always wanted to find people to go the same events cuz I believe we would click instantly and get along very well. Sometimes it does not have to be for dating purpose, simply find some frds to hang out with and see where things go from there. Highly recommend anyone to try this app!!!

Awesome app!
Hula is a great app to discover events around NYC and now in 8 different cities! You can find events such as broadway shows, boat parties, brunch events, activity based events and so much more! If you don’t have someone to go with you to an event, you can match up with a buddy ! Check out this app and the awesome ambassador program that just launched!

Great resource and tool to experience the city!
I love the idea. Finally i don’t have to bother my friends/find a date/go to events alone. A great way to meet friends who have similar interest and there’s no pressure like dating. Also i used it as a resource to see the most updated info of great events in the city.

Helped my find like-minded buddy!
This app is super cool and very user-friendly! I discovered it while I was traveling to NYC and couldn’t find a friend to go to this amazing concert I found on Eventbrite. I ended up matching with a girl and we really hit it off! Plz expand to other locations (LA)!

Disappointing
I had high hopes for this app but it’s trying to do too many things at once without being good at any. It’s activities section is an ad board of paid events that are quite costly and very similar. Diversity is lacking. The app barely has any users so when you match with someone it’s often either part of the development team or fake profile. If you download this app hoping to meet people and do cool stuff, you’re in for disappointment. Plus all these reviews are obviously fake.

I recently moved to a new city and this app came in handy when I tried to look for covid safe events to go to. People on there look fun and easy to hang out with - Hula is definitely worth a shot in meeting new people!
