You can now switch the file opening method to PHPicker by setting it.
In iOS15, when the thumbnail image does not show up on the file open screen, you may have to wait a few hours or days for it to show up.This problem does not occur when using PHPicker.

Good, but needs a couple improvements

-I can put either MPO or SBS jpgs into it, and it will let me switch between cross and parallel viewing on the fly with either of those. No more having to have both formats saved on my iPad.
-Zooming in. The app lets me zoom in on SBS images. This feature is limited by the lack of resolution.
Room for improvement:
-Needs to display in higher resolution. The app shows the images (when zoomed in) at lower resolution than I'm giving it. I would really love to zoom in and view my images in their full resolution, but the app doesn't allow it.
-Needs a better gallery feature. My library of stereo images is huge. I want to carry around many hundreds of images in this app, but right now the gallery feature is poorly designed for any sort of random access (you have to scroll through everything). Supporting subfolders in the app would be really great, as would showing thumbnails instead of an image list.
On a whole it's a good app, with a lot of potential for greatness, but the low rendering resolution and poor random access to images keeps it from being great.

Two small additions, and it's perfect.
This is by the developer of StereoPhoto Maker, So if you make any of your own 3D images there's a decent chance you're using this guy's software already. The iOS viewer app is really pretty good but there are two things that really bother me. First off, the zoom resolution isn't very high. When you zoom in the pixels gets crunchy really quickly even on a high resolution image. Secondly, the normal zoom gesture only works on one or the other image, so when you have your eyes crossed it's fairly disorienting to have to pinch/stretch on the left or the right side only. Even with those complaints, this is still a fantastic app, and well worth the money.

Still great but not five stars.
This is the best stereoscopic photo app for any device, and just like his Stereo Photo Maker for Windows it has all the features you would need. However I only gave it four stars because two features seem to be missing that at this late date is slightly irritating.
#1 No multicamera support. I have the new 12max pro with three cameras but cannot take sterescopic images with it?
#2 Still no front camera support. You would think that people would be sharing more 3D selfies if they could just use the front camera but we may never know. You can still import selfies taken with the camera app but why should we take the extra step?
Worth the cost either way as I use it regularly and get amazing results. Everything looks better in 3D so get it.

Best stereo 3D camera app on iOS
I’ve been using this app for a few years. It makes creating stereo 3D pictures ridiculously easy. Take the two side by side pictures, then the wizard hat button aligns everything perfectly. Many export options too. I was dreading the iOS 11 upgrade thinking I would lose this app, but then the developer made my week by releasing a compatibility update! Updates are few and far between, because the app just works and does what it needs to do.

Once fantastic, now only crashes
I have used this app for years on my previous phones and was very upset when it just simply stopped working.
I can no longer open two images and join them together into a stereo image. I've got an iPhone 6 with the latest version on IOS. I've turned location services on, deleted the app, reinstalled the app, rebooted the phone, all with no positive results. I can still take photos with the app and join them but that's not much of a help on images taken with another app or device. This Is the same for my iPad as well.

wonderful results!
I am a fan of twin camera CHDK photography and of course Stereo Photo Maker - this software is made by the same developer. I am happy to throw some money towards the great work he has done to implement stereo photo creation and exploration on iOS!
I hope some export options to 5x7 and 6x4 proportions get added, so as to create stereocards. I can wait, and will follow this developer.

This App has Changed My Life
It's amazingly easy to capture still objects and scenery in 3D with this app. I have used it on 3 phones now, and it seems very stable on the 6s+. If you can train your eyes to see side-by-side images in stereo, no viewer is needed. I only wish that someone would develop an app that doesn't require two photos to be taken, so that moving objects could be included.

Brilliant app runs better on my iPad Pro than on any other previous platform. If you have a keyboard prop for your iPad, you have a mount for taking tabletop stereo pictures. Anyone who needs 3D documentation of specimens, who also has an iPad with keyboard, should have this app.

Love this app, but...
Since the recent update, I can't open a 3D pair, the app crashes. The website says to turn on location services for the app, but the app isn't listed in location services to do that. The website says to email if you have problems, but it doesn't say what the email address is. Hopefully the app developer sees this, because I have no other option.

Has problems, can't find support
It does not link to the Photos app on my iPhone correctly. It saves to All Photos (with no option to choose an album) and then can recall only from albums. So I cannot recall a pic I took until I move it.
By setting the Black Band to 6% I was able to view my pics very nicely with an OWL viewer.
