Room for improvement
I recently purchased the Qoocam EGO, and have been really enjoying it. This app is a necessary part of the equation, to upgrade firmware and access advanced settings etc. The app isn’t bad, but there are definitely areas where it can be improved:
- There is no way to batch export photos to the phone’s camera roll. Having to view each individual photo one at a time is tedious. Please take a design cue from GoPro or Insta360 and support batch export of photos.
- When viewing 3D photos, the only 3D viewing option is “parallel” eyes. Please support a Google cardboard-type experience.
- Please support exporting photos as wigglegrams, and as red-cyan anaglyph.
- I found pairing confusing at first, and still don’t know how to get my camera to show up under the “My camera” tab, rather than the “Other Cameras” tab. Both the app and camera are logged in with the same account.

VR working with iOS 14.1
I previously gave QooCam a 2-star rating as VR was not working-it served a rapid flicker instead of a 360° experience.
This seems it was due to iOS 14.0 NOT QooCam. After updating to iOS 14.1, the app is working perfectly.

Failures all around Can't even take a simple photo
Keeps an uncloseable dialog open demanding location be turned on. Can't make it go away. Can't take photos or videos without location turned on. Was able to get into photo mode by disabling cellular data, but then fails to take photos with a "-200" error or switches to video mode.
You claim that you don't collect any data, but the fact that you won't allow me to use the app without giving you location data determined that is a LIE. Frak you a holes for doing this. I hate you and hope company fails and you get kicked off the App Store for LYING.

Unable to keep camera updated
I hope the developers read this because I owned the Qoocam for almost 2 years now and not one time was I able to update my camera using this app. I would have to contact tech support only for them to email me the latest version of the software to manually update my camera but not to fix why I can’t update it via the app. I don’t even own the Qoocam 8K but already have an updated software downloaded and ready to install smh.

It all works extremely well, except that I can't "share" the videos. The trash button is there, but not the share button. Please update!

Good app, manual color correction reques
If this app had a Lightroom feature where we can take the 360 dng and import into Lightroom , color correct, then reopen in this app to reorient the image, tiny planet, 4:3 framing etc.

Terrible App, Fix it!
The app is terrible. If you want to replay a video it crashes. If you want to view a 360 photo it crashes. Every time you open it it wants you to download the SAME software update.
I’m not sure why the developers won’t pay more attention to their app.

Freezes, rendering it useless
Upon starting the application, it says the camera has old firmware and needs an update, which it true, but then it freezes. It also freezes if you try to change from PAL to NTSC (when you aren’t connected to the camera)
