This app has great content with helpful descriptions for a huge number of routes in Alberta (and a few routes in BC). The content is a bit more than what you'd find in an old-school guide; it tends to have helpful route descriptions but fewer photos than I had hoped for, and many climbing areas are referred to as a single route (particularly in easier and moderate zones). Approach descriptions are helpful, and the 'Navigate to route' feature is great, showing A map with your current location, the trailhead location, and the crag location (and sometimes A trace for the approach trail)
However, as of Jan 2018 (and on an iPhone 5s, iOS 10) the software implementation is incredibly buggy, and basic features do not work. Searching for a route by name or characteristics does not work, many commands take >10s to execute, and the app is prone to crashing. While this app was clearly designed to mimic the navigation and interaction of the Mountainproject app, the implementation needs a *lot* of work.
