The new iClass Builder Player creates a way for Instructors of Indoor Cycling or Spinning® classes to use their iPod, iPhone or iPad to deliver master instructor level classes on their iOS mobile devices. Everything from simple target intensity levels in RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) to advanced training with Heart Zones®, Cadence and Power can be built into every class with iClass Builder and delivered with this Player app. Cues for changing position can be precisely timed to the music, changes in RPM can be fined tuned, and classes can be continuously improved. Music sources include Spotify, Apple & Dropbox.
For instructors lucky enough to teach in a room with a projector or flat screen TV, iClass Builder Player will also project the ride profile along with your personal selection of additional info. On top of the profile, you can choose RPE, Heart Zone, RPM, Power, Track Name, Artist Name, Album Art, Segment Title or even your detailed cues.
This next generation of the app also provides a way for instructors to share classes, a long requested feature, and also buy classes; making it especially easy for new instructors to get started. For the more experienced and master instructors, there are also features to allow you to sell your classes – to finally get at little something more back from all that hard work.

Great app!
I love this app. The only thing that’s missing is the ability to edit on my phone (like the last version). But I love having a place to keep all my profiles and the cues and timers and look ahead help keep my classes smooth while I can concentrate on working my riders and feeling the vibe in the room.

Gives you confidence to lead!
One of the things I dislike is taking a spin class in which it seems the instructor is making stuff up on the fly. I understand there are times when someone fills in last minute but you can easily tell when someone has put some time and thought into their ride. This app helps you do just that. It’s a great way to perfectly choreograph your movements to the music. Once you build up a solid resume of rides, you can then easily copy and paste from your favorites to create better rides. This app has given me the confidence to lead classes and it’s practically a non negotiable for me in that I must have it if I’m going to lead. Thanks for the great app and the hard work you guys put into it!

Take your instructing to a new level
I’ve used classbuilder in my classes for several years now. Setting the cues that make up your planned workout in advance allows you to pay better attention the the class and also (if you want) to sync cues with music which my classes love. I also use the projection feature. Participants tell me on a regular basis how much they like that. They tell me that they work harder knowing what is coming instead of waiting until the last song to give everything they have. There is a learning curve, but the tutorial videos are excellent. Make sure to check out those.

Where to write classes?
You can’t write or edit a class on this app, the predecessor was more versatile. I get they are trying to do more things, but why take away the best part? The ease of writing a class or editing on the fly was my favorite. Without access to a computer this app is useless.
Update: what classbuilder originally had - integrated iPhone app, they went backwards in technology where you have to use a computer. More of a hassle than help. It’s faster to write classes on paper.... this devastation happened only to leave room for someone else to come in and snag that platform in a new app. I just downloaded Struct and omg it’s like the old class builder. Thank god.

Certified 2 years in spinning. After trying numerous apps; this one by far is worth every penny! The upcoming cues, notes, etc., have allowed me to spend more time focusing on my class: such as their form, body language, walking around the room and interacting etc., and less time worrying about my timing for intervals,cues, rpms, etc. If any issue arises with the software, they are prompt addressing the solution. The app and the customer service is top notch.

The only App you need for teaching Spin.
I found the predecessor of this app over three years ago when I first started teaching indoor cycling. Both the original and now this new version allow me to create and save all my classes, track the cues for each song and stay organized without the need for paper or index cards. It is worth your time to give this app and the website a try.

Great app! Simple to use...effective.
Why reinvent the wheel? This app offers instructors fantastic workouts that are all prepared and ready to go. It doesn’t get more simple than this. Not only does it free up the instructor’s time in planning workouts, it enables the instructor to offer proven and effective training classes that will have people returning workout after workout. It’s a great tool. Great job!

The difference between a good class & a great class
I absolutely love this app. I had the older version where you could build your class from your phone. Now you need to type in your cues from a lap top, but it works just as well. It really enables me to be on cue with the timing of the music. Thanks so much for your app. I honestly can’t teach with out it!

Best indoor cycling instructor tool
I have been using iclass builder for three years. I truly enjoy planning my classes and using this tool to seamlessly integrate the music with my cues. I recommend this application to all fitness instructors who need to coordinate music with cues - no more shuffling papers! This app is for you!

Hate teaching without it
This app can help every spin instructor organize a better class. I love that I can pull up a variety of classes at any point keeping it fresh and new for my students without having to study cues in advance.
