Description

Note: This app does not sell nor provide any music files. All music must be purchased and supplied by the user. Les Mills music can only be obtained by registered instructors either directly from that company or authorised distributors.

Press Play and Go is a music manager for group fitness instructors.  It allows playlists to be created from your existing music as well as seventeen Les Mills programmes.  It recognises both the original and cover versions so you can create classes most suitable for the music licences where you teach.

You can add breaks or timed pauses between songs and have a visible (and optional audible) countdown before the music starts - handy for changing weights or a drink break. You always know when the class will finish which means never running over time again.

The Les Mills quarterly releases are automatically created from your supplied music - including bonus tracks. Simply rip your instructor CD to iTunes or download the digital files and sync them with your device; the app will display the titles and artists and put the songs in the correct order. Creating your own mixes is simple as only the songs you have available for each track in that programme are suggested. Changing the songs in mixes is even easier.

The multi-song groups of BODYJAM and BODYBALANCE are handled in the same easy manner. You can easily create playlists for the express class formats. It supports the new and previous formats for BODYATTACK and both the 70/30 and Athletic class types for BODYSTEP.

X3 Pty Ltd has no connection at all to Les Mills other than participating in a lot of their classes.

All your music remains available in the iPod music library so no additional space is used.

Added a 'Select your allowed tracks' format for BODYPUMP. This creates a mix with all twelve track types. The instructor can then mark which ones should not be played. This approach allows you to quickly change the format of a mix to vary the class for your participants as well as match any regulations in your local area. For example some places mandate 45 minute classes regardless of track types; others ban any floor work - which rules out doing abs tracks.

TabbyF80,
How do we contact
I have a question about something that keeps happening and it tells me to set up an email to be able to email for support... no place to set up an email 🤔 anyway, would be nice to have more than just frequently asked questions as not all little bugs are frequently happening to everyone 🤷🏼‍♀️ absolutely love this app though!! Even participants appreciate the between tracks timer and countdown! Makes them hustle!! 😉👌🏽
Jwilsonny,
Access to Dropbox
App is great. I use it every time i teach. The only limitation is that you’re stuck with Itunes which i can’t stand using. It would be so much better if you could give an option to link to Dropbox or other folder on IOS. Thanks for all your hard work. I would gladly pay with an in-app purchase for this option.

Best BodyPump Instructor App Available
I can’t recommend this app highly enough. I store all releases as playlists in the Apple cloud and the app just sees them all when they’re local to either my iPad or iPhone. The app never crashed and the developer is incredibly responsive if you have questions. You can crest custom mixes of releases in seconds. Buy this app and use it today.
Rallf,
Playlist at end of class won’t play?
I have an iTunes playlist selected to automatically play at the end of every class, but it only actually plays about one out of every five times. No rhyme or reason why. Any ideas?

Too big for iPhone
Screen to edit songs is to large for iPhone. Not able to access options below “audible countdown” option. Need to make it so that screen will minimize and adjust to various smaller phones or music player screens.
Zeniki1,
Awesome app!
I love my PPG app! It makes prepping, practicing and teaching my Bodypump class so much better! I can easily pick my track list when mixing between new releases. I can set time in between tracks so that I can "press play and go" at the start of class and not have to mess with my iPod! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I would like to be able to access certain single tracks I have from past releases. If you do not have the full release loaded on your device, you cannot do this. I have some releases that I only like a few tracks but I don't like the entire release, but I can't include them in my PPG playlist. I have to do a manual playlist with just my regular iPod music to use those tracks and then I don't have the benefit of the pauses, etc.

Otherwise I love this app. It keeps me on time and keeps the class moving and means I don't have to attend to my iPod the whole class time unless I want to!
The price has gone up since I first got it, but I would still say its worth it!!
eusemu,
It was working fine till today.
All the sudden since the icon of the app changed to green, erased my newer releases, bodycombat 71 to 80, and Bodypump 101 to 110. And I had my own mix but almost all of them are missing some tracks so all messed up my class plan right before I started the class.
Mary Beth Simon,
Horrible user experience
This app is neither user friendly, nor intuitive. I’ve been trying to load one BF release for weeks. Even the online walkthrough is terrible. The app needs to be modernized. Unfortunately, it looks like this app is the only game in town for Les Mills playlists.
jordyadd,
Disappointing
App is very confusing to get set up and navigate. I would like a refund.
Allabtlm,
Love this app, but . . .
Ever since I downloaded it my music starts at the last place that I stopped listening to a track instead of the beginning. This is particularly an issue when I use the pre-class music snippet feature then this then has the music start in the middle of the track (wherever the snippet ended) instead of the beginning. Also, the new bodystep 91 with the new format didn't come in to the app after addition to my iPhone. Finally, some releases have alternative tracks (BodyPump 84 for example) which aren't provided as option when setting up your playlist, so you have to set up a freestyle class to use the alternative tracks.
