Aveyune,
Helpful but
Love how easy it is to add and sort all the games I have played/want to play, especially like the “paused” category as well to remind me what I’ve put down. What would really make this better is including the wonderful walkthroughs ign has made for the games, having the ability to download even just the guide for the actively playing games that could be off-loaded later, Instead of having to navigate it all via browser. Just a thought! Overall like the app so far.
TyWrites,
Already great, a few suggestions
This is in my opinion the single best app for cataloguing and organization your games. I’ve tried others and this is the only one that clicked. Its easy and intuitive to use, will recognize seemingly any game, and (most importantly by far) is completely free with no ads, popups, or intrusive notifications.

I do have a few ideas for QOL features that I don’t think would be super complicated to implement.

• I REALLY wish that lists would remember your sort preference, or that you could set a default sorting for all lists in the settings or something
• It would be cool if game tiles/icons in lists showed what rating you gave it (without having to go to the game's info page where you actually rate and everything)
• A few more options for likes and dislikes when rating (such as: Atmosphere, Exploration, Emotional, Choices Matter, RNG, Player Agency etc.)
• Option to collapse or universally hide the “official” reviews. I do not value IGN's opinions on games more than everyone else's. On that note, at least let me read actual reviews by users instead of just their rating.
EisbarDasTier,
Almost great
It’s pretty good. I’ve used a few playlist apps that focus on the social aspect and those don’t stick for me. I just want a stream lined way to keep track of my backlog and learn about new games.

That said this app gets really frustrating in a few ways:

I’m still bulk adding games and every time I mark something as played and leave a ranking I get the prompt to share. I don’t like the extra click and this already annoying enough to where I may just go back to my reminders app.

Also, after marking an item as backlog or whatever the list refreshes and moves me to a different scroll position. Instead I would like to see a refresh triggered for the one instance instead of the entire list.
MyRatingID,
Fantastic
I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. The ability to quickly add games and then sort by release date or other filter options make it so easy to pick what to play next. There’s great information and screenshots shown under each game, and in a standardized format. Can’t recommend enough. Thanks, IGN. The team that put this together knocked it out of the park.
frftchd,
A lot of potential
Just wish I could sort based on my rating and view all of my ratings as opposed to just focusing on IGN's. Only way I've figured out is creating a playlist, which is super time consuming when you've already rated hundreds of games. Also, the discovery queue resets to the first game each time. I wish it would remember where you left off, otherwise it's useless to use a second time when you were already pretty deep into it.
jmason86,
A great start!
I love the integration with How Long to Beat. The app is clean and easy to use. I even prefer it to the web interface. On the podcasts they’ve described it as goodreads for games - it’s almost there but won’t be until users can write their own reviews. Until then, grouvee is really the goodreads for games.
elchebib,
Awesome app
Finally an app from a reputable gaming site without the fuss of worrying about adding games (the option is still available though). Intuitive presentation and ability to create lists in addition to the default ones. Easy to move around the app and each game has a ton of info from reviews to trailers and announcements.
GusBusA,
Thank you!!
This app was everything I needed and I’m so glad to have found it, the only problem is when downloading this I was hoping for the guides of the games to be included and upon opening the app and discovering it was not included really sucked. Please consider adding them
Licensed Drug Dealer,
Better than GG imo
Really like the UI and the functionality Playlist offers! That said, wish we could follow other people (not just follow playlists). Would be cool to see what friends and other community members are playing / have in their back log, etc.
Jdkscore,
Really cool, but some annoying quirks
Love the app and the idea, but viewing lists is a nightmare. If you’re trying to tag game that’s in a list, the menu will snap back to the top. When scrolling through longer lists, it’s super frustrating to scroll all the way back down.
