Great App
The app works great and yardage is right on. My only critique is the blue numbers are very hard to read when outside. I’d prefer the yardage numbers were all white or at least change the red and blue numbers to a brighter color. Thanks.

This has to be the #1 Golf GPS app on the App Store.
I had the old version. Love the new design. Simple and clean and very easy to use. When they first updated there were some issues but those have been quickly resolved. This app works great. Very fast to get the course loaded and ready to play. Love the course maps to see layout of each hole. They even added a nice distance overlay feature which is useful.

My only complaint is it’s not on the Apple Watch. If you can get the basic yardages there it would be the best app in the store for golf gps tracking.

GPS Too Slow
This would be a useful app if the correct yardage would show up BEFORE I hit my shot. I tried the app for two rounds on the same golf course and found it very frustrating. I would say that well over half of the time, I had to hit my shot before the correct yardage appeared. Sometimes is shows no yardage at all while it is connecting and sometimes it shows the wrong yardage. Either way, you're out of luck. Sometimes even after it seemed to have settled on a yardage, it would change as much as 7 yards while staying in the same position. As far as I'm concerned, as a golf GPS, this app has no value to me. Maybe it's the GPS signal on my iPhone 3GS or maybe it's the app - who knows.
The only reason I gave this app 2 stars is because it's well designed and very easy to use. It would be nice if it auto advanced to the next hole, but still easy enough to do it manually.
One more thing to keep in mind, is that your phone automatically turns off after a few seconds, which means that you have to turn the phone back on every time you want a yardage. Handheld devices stay on all the time and in experience, settle on a yardage much quicker.

Superb Design...Great Functionality...
By far the best design I have seen on a mobile Golf GPS application. Very intuitive and easy to use. Accurate distances to the front, center and back of the greens. If I could only figure out how to hit my irons this iGolf app would seriously improve my handicap.

App very slow to initiate, cumbersome to search and find course. While playing, it is slow to update yardages. I come back after a shot and find it changed by 5 or more yards. If I receive text on phone and respond, I have to reinitiate app, search for course, hole, etc. Handicapper can't handle courses with three nines, only accepts score for one nine at a time and treats it as 18....though it has lowered my round avg and handicap by doing so to a zone I'd love to play in. Have called support several times with no response to voicemail. Got it as gift, so very hard to complain / replace :-(

Clean and intuitive, this app does almost everything you need
Someone had their creative cap on when they designed this app. Simple interface, lightweight and all-encompassing, I swear it lowered my handicap. Discounted greens fees are also much appreciated when booking any of the NYC metro courses. Recommend fully!

Improved My Game
Title says it all. I'm a basic weekend golfer who doesn't practice. I'm sure there are other apps that do more, but the simplicity of this is genius. Gives me yardage when I need it and I'm able to judge my shots better = lower scores. Hitting it straight on the other hand is a different story

Awesome app
Did everything I needed and more. Distance to hole very accurate. Very easy to use. Love being able to keep score on igolf than having to have pencil and paper. Would absolutely recommend to my golf buddies!!!

Too much trouble
The first big negative regarding this app are all the stupid commercials. Every time you change a hole you have to wait while another commercial loads. Who wants to do that? Way too much trouble for me.
A positive regarding this app is the fact that it does show you a relatively accurate GPS distance from where you are standing to the hole.
But I am deleting this app because there are too many negatives and they just do not make this app worth the time or the trouble.
