Love how it captures the scans, but…
The subscription seems too expensive, I understand how much it needs to process things quickly and everything. But at least add a trial so we can experience and experiment the app for a week or few days. So we can value the app and its features and see how worth is paying for a subscription.

Not worth a subscription
You get two free scans, which is fair. You should be able to use your first to kind of learn how it works and get a feel for it, and your second as your actual avatar. What isn’t fair however, is that it’s 20$ a month for FIVE scans. It shouldn’t even be a subscription, let alone a limited number or a price over ten, especially considering it costs 10$ to export it to a game, even with pro. The avatars themselves don’t even generate right if you don’t have pro, even if you follow the directions to a tee. It says it takes two minutes to upload, but in reality it takes around ten. God forbid you wear baggy clothing, because it will render the rest of you as obese. Such a shame, as I would spend a one time fee of 10-15$ on a permanent pro membership in a HEARTBEAT.

Great scanner, some issues with exporting
This is an updated review after purchasing a subscription for a month. The scanning part of it works great and is very easy to use. Just have to remember to take their suggestions for getting good scans. It sometimes does take a few times to not forget something, like take off your glasses don’t smile, etc. so don’t save the scan until you’re sure you’ve got it. There’s no preview of the final scan so there is a certain amount of guess work. My problem always came in the exporting. There were a lot of times it wouldn’t export properly. It wouldn’t seem to download to files on my iPad, or it would download an obscure file format that couldn’t be opened in some cases. I will say that the developers were helpful when I contacted them on discord and sent me copies of all the files so I hung onto the subscription for the month, but as my renewal was coming up I tried again and unfortunately it’s still having the same export problems. So I cancelled the subscription. I just can’t be bothered with chasing them down every time to try to get something exported. I have the latest iPhone and iPad so I doubt it was a device issue on my end. So not sure what the problem was. A little disappointed as it seems to be a great app except for that. I have raised the rating by a star as the developers were helpful when I contacted them, but can’t give it 5 stars as it’s still lacking some functionality. Hope they can fix the issues and it can get to a 5 star app.

Expensive as balls
Really cool but costs so much for more scans. When I wanted to make a 3rd one, it said “buy more” so I deleted my one with the funny face expecting it to give me another scan, but no. You can only make 2, and if you delete one you lose it forever, unless you buy it for 20$ a month, or $180 a year! Really cool and I love the animations, but please add more than 2 games and add more movies. Fun but super duper overpriced…

Yes good but no
This is a great app. The idea of a 3D scan of your body that you export is amazing, that is what I would have said a year ago. Back then the app allowed you to export for free in any format, but now you have to pay and I don’t think you can export for obj and stuff like that. A great idea at first but now . . .

Horrible Tutorials
If you’re not an expert, don’t waste your time. they want to charge a fortune, but they couldn’t take the time to put together decent tutorials. The tutorial that was provided is cut the pieces so it’s impossible to follow a long unless you’re an expert with the system. His be claiming for months he will make it updated tutorial, but has yet to do so, but they continue to take your money.

I’ve never written a review before this but just wanted to say how dissatisfied I am.
The fact that you only get 5 scans for $20 is a “ripoff” in my opinion
I probably missed the small print but this is just a shame. The way tech is moving somebody will offer this same service unlimited for less and this app will be phased out . Good luck!

Good scans but way too expensive
I made 3 models deleted one because my lighting was bad and didn’t get a scan back. Why is it 20 dollars for only 5 scans I think that there should be at least 10 scans.

Leads you to believe exporting is free but then leaves you with only two free scans and nothing to do after you scan. The software works decent but it’s useless unless you’re willing to shell out for a lackluster model.
