Couldn’t identify anything
I tried to identify a spider. I took several pictures of it and all I got wad can not identify try again. So, I went to there website and screenshot a picture of a spider (you would think it could identify at least that much.) I still received the same message. I did this with several different species of spiders, also other insects. Could not identify any of them. It is a great concept but, it just didn’t work for me. Thanks anyway!

Not working-Please Cancel my subscription
I’ve submitted several photos of a bug and it keeps telling me that it’s “entity“ and then tells me it has 132% accuracy with that photo. What does that even mean? When I click on the option that says “not correct“ it asks me to identify what type of mushroom this bug is. I have uploaded it numerous times with different angles of the same bug and it keeps naming it “entity“. On top of that I upgraded this app and I’m trying to cancel it and I’m finding absolutely no way to cancel this app. I need you to cancel my subscription immediately. The link takes me to some math page.

Not accurate
Took a photo of a Spotted Lanternfly which has become a huge problem in my area. The app identified it as another type of moth common in North and Central America, when it is actually an invasive species from Asia. So it does try to identify bugs, it just doesn’t do it well.

Insect app (iPhone)
I got the app for my son and I to in joy looking I hopcollecting bugs but I gave it the benefit of the doubt to work but when take pic with the app it doesn’t read it and it give you an option to get the picture and at it does reed it and then at times it doesn’t. I hope the app owner’s can fix this. I guess I’m going to continue to use google.

Only 2000 insects is a good start
My first 2 pictures of bugs were unrecognized. Will cancel for now and try again later when the app’s data base is more bio-robust. I’d be happy to help build and calibrate the database but I’m not an entomologist nor do I have $12/month to spare, even though it could be a very important cause towards “restoring the little things that run the world”

Not working
Took a clear spider picture on white background and tells me it’s a tiger mosquito. When I try to click on the correction link where it says to input what the correct insect it - the keyboard pops up, and after I’m done typing I can’t get the keyboard to go back down /away so I can press the submit button that’s behind the keyboard.

Not user friendly
The identification section is not bad. Unfortunately this app doesn’t offer any way to get into your account to update information or cancel app. Their menu only offers History, rate and share options. Not cool! I’m canceling my free trial as soon as I can figure out how to do this!

Access to CANCEL
I loaded the app on my phone. I chose a photo of an insect from my album. The app did not recognize the bug. I have no more interest in adding insect pictures. And the page will not come up to cancel the monthly charge. The page to choose a photo just keeps coming back. Somebody fix this please

Butterfly identifier
This app helps identify butterflies. I tried to check out a few. It’s not able to id all my butterflies, yet it did accurately ID most.

I just downloaded this app and so far it is batting 100. A great resource for those hard to identify creepy crawlies.
