We've been listening! This app update provides two important improvements that our faithful Institute members have been clamoring for:

1. Easier browsing process:
You now ONLY need a registered email address to start a browsing session (no password required). Your browsing session will persist longer, and whenever you need to start a new browsing session the app will remember your email address.

2. Improved audio downloading capabilities:
You can now kick off an audio download and continue browsing other talks and events within the app. The audio will continue to load in the background. Furthermore, if you lock your device or switch to another app your audio download will continue without interruption.
(Look out for the ability to schedule multiple downloads at one time in a future release)

We have also added Push Notifications with the latest release. You now have the option of receiving notification reminders for ICC live events!

Enjoy, and keep letting us know how we can improve!

Like Bilbo and Gollum,
Life changing
This app is amazing. I have listened to many talks while doing chores and things around the house. The ICC is wonderful. The talks are always informative, interesting, and enlightening. The nice thing about the app is that it includes the handouts if there were any at the talk. The organization of the app is also spot on. You can easily find great talks by searching key words, speaker, or topic. I love, love, love this app. The talks are really transformative and great for people who want to continue to grow in virtues, understanding, and knowledge but don't have the resources to pursue graduate or continuing education.
MichaelOP,
Intuitive app, excellent content
The app is easy to use. Very intuitive. I'll use a Bluetooth speaker in the car sometimes. It gives me a chance to listen during a commute or a road trip. Since the app lets one download talks, it's possible to download them and then listen while you're away from your home wi-fi and listen without having to stream. My only complaint, and it may be a problem on my end, is that when I'm using cellular data rather than wi-fi, the app won't log in, so if I didn't log in before l left the house, I can't log in even if cellular data is turned on. I can only log in over wi-fi.
Very73,
Solid Catholic education at your fingertips
This app allows you to access hours of solid Catholic education on several topics: Sacred Scripture, Catechesis, Apologetics, Early Christianity and so much more! The interface is very clean, easy to use and will allow you to access classes online or through video on demand, you will have access to quality course materials and study questions. There is no excuse not to deepen your knowledge of your Catholic faith. Learn, feel confident and spread the Word!
Spellmanchris,
Outstanding audio and video content related to all aspects of the Catholic faith!
The presentations contained within this app are extremely helpful and formative along one's journey toward God in His Church. They are also downright interesting. A big kudos to the Institute of Catholic Culture for organizing these talks and making them available to anyone with an Internet connection. Listening to or watching these presentations is time well-spent: I listen to one just about every day!
Hilton, Alex,
5-Star Light in the Darkness
I have never rated a product online prior to this review. Yet, I feel compelled to assign five-stars to this app. Together with St. Paul, "I thank my God each time I remember [the men]" at the Institute of Catholic Culture. Phil 1:3. Truly, the ICC is a light in the darkness. I will share this app with many; and in the first place, I'll share it with my family.

To all at the ICC, thank you very much for your labors in the vineyard.
RCL,
Essential Resource
Use it everyday. Most vibrant Catholic resource online. 5 star library. The new app
is a big improvement. Most importantly the bottom menu was too sensitive before. The slightest touch or brush and your program was gone. Downright dangerous trying to find your way back while on the road or fumbling in the dark.
The video streaming is impressive.
A few bugs... My Bluetooth controls all work with videos but Pause doesn’t work on the audio programs
Johnm83061,
To know is to love
The ICC is an amazing opportunity for Catholics to learn. Program after program is filled with the details about our religion and most importantly about the teachings of Jesus that you can not get during a Sunday homily. I have not listened to a program or participated in a class yet that was disappointing. They have all been eye opening and amazing.
New to Yoga,
Great Catholic app for novice to expert knowledge
What a fantastic update! I’m loving the interactive app and all the contents. I suggest the OT/NT year with Fr. Sebastian yet, it’s a great way to begin your journey.

The ICC is a great blessing to us who suffered through the Vatican II childhood. This group is dedicated to expanding the knowledge base of Catholics in an approachable format. Try listening to a talk during your commute; you won’t be disappointed!
StEdithStein,
For anyone wrestling with the big questions or wanting to go deeper
Vast library of excellent speakers teaching on Catholic beliefs. This is an invaluable resource to any atheist, agnostic, Christian...really any human. Since downloading this, I've probably listened almost every day. Favorite logistical aspect is that it can play in the background while I'm multitasking on my iPhone.
Chris in Springfield VA,
Awkward audio playback
Yep, the pre-writen review pretty well says it:
Hundreds of hours of audio and the content is so good I'm trying to listen to them all but using the Podcast app instead. This one lacks three important features: pick up where I last stopped listening, click once to back up 15 seconds at a time, and change playback speed.

I would add another: it appears the lectures for the courses can't be downloaded to be watched or listened to off-line.
