Connection Steps.
1. Turn on the Camera Wi-Fi, it will act as a Wi-Fi AP.
2. in iPhone/iPad, Setting->Wi-Fi turn it on and find out camera SSID then connect. the SSID & password should be on your manual or contact servce.
3. Open the APP
Now you can streaming the preview, take a picture or video.

Q: Why cannot create a new camera?
A: First make sure you have follow connection step and established the connection, second, try to pding 192.168.1.1 by other Apps, like Ping Lite, make sure the wireless signal was strong enough for work.
Q: Why cannot download the video?
A: Before download, you should make sure the video format is compatible with iPhone/iPad, and allow iSmart DV to access Photo Library.

Some people feedback us they cannot download the big video files (more than 2GB), thanks for your feedback, we are check much more camera and found the problem is camera suddenly disconnect the Wi-Fi connection during download, we cannot fix the camera crash issue, sorry.

Very Awesome Action Camera and App
I highly recommend this product. My son wanted an action camera and received the EK7000 as a gift. He is extremely happy with it and I am very impressed by the product. It has built in Wi-Fi which connects to a phone via the app providing wireless display and many option. The kit came with a variety of mounts and a waterproof case. There is even a remote to begin recording from a distance! It’s packed with features but easy to use. I look forward to helping my son create awesome action videos!

This app…
I’ve been using these for several years now. Cameras great. App… slow, glitchy, frustrating… and what’s worse it It’s been this way since day one. You select the media you want to save from the camera and do the transfer (which is offensively slow) then it prompts you after the transfer with how/where you want to save it. I like to view them on my phone so I select that. Sometimes they save to my photos… sometimes they save in the app itself. When they save to the app you can’t do anything with them aside from watch them. No other options - can’t delete individual videos, edit, save to files or phone, etc… doesn’t seem like a big deal but one recording session, saved in the app, will fill my phones 64gig of memory. In short, the file manipulation of this app feels like it was designed by someone that doesn’t understand data storage. You have to go into the temporary storage of the app, delete all temporary data, then delete and reinstall the app if you want to clear it out. It’s absurd.

So I’m 9 years old, and I have always loved spy stuff and so me and my dad got this camera that sport people use and we got this app to help us with it and omg it is awesome because you can sit in one room with your phone or your tablet and watch what someone else is doing in the other room! Oh and get this, you don’t even have to tern the camera on to see what’s going on! I ❤️ this app! 😄😁😆😀😊😍🤪🤩

Awesome Camera, bad app
I love this camera it’s awesome! It’s just the app can be slow, confusing, and bad quality. I can’t view my videos and the cameras pics will only save if connected. What’s the point of the memory card? The camera is super cool but the app needs to be better. The app takes slow to connect and I was really disappointed will the quality of the app. I don’t know, it’s just the app can be a little sketchy but with a few updates it can be much better. The app seems very old, like it was made when the first iPhone came out which can give the app a bad first look. Love the camera, but please work on this app! Thanks!

It does its purpose but could be better
The app over all works great, however I noticed that it takes a long time some times to download videos or pics and it sometimes it gets a bit buggie so there is room for improvements there. Over all it works other than the few bugs while downloading the camera content

Impressive!
Many products that I used had apps that were years out of date. They would never update the app because the product it was built for went obsolete. This app is great, because even though the camera I purchased was from early 2017, this app is still optimized for the latest iOS software. Great job, guys!

Cool but crashes too much
Works great initially. I am able to connect to the camera just fine. When I’m able to download videos it is a bit slow. After a few attempts of trying to search through different videos the app then freezes and I can no longer select anything else. When I tried to back out it tells me preview from Camera is no longer available so I have to reset everything and start all over

The app allows me to easily save data to my device without a usb.
This app also allows me to switch settings. I highly enjoy being able to take selfie type photos while being able to see what the camera!!! All in all a very simple easy to use great app!!!

Ugh
I downloaded this app because a friend recommended it as a way to get photos and videos from my knock-off GoPro onto my phone, and it worked really well for pictures. However, although I was able to view the videos, I couldn't save them to my phone. Even worse, I tried deleting the app, and this thing just WONT. GO. AWAY. Every time my phone dies and I power it back on, this app is somehow back on my phone. Pleeeease make it go away!! I have low storage 😭

Disappointed
I just opened my new camera, and I purchased a brand new sandisc 32gb micro sd card for the product. It said the sd card had an error and when I took it out, it was extremely hot to the touch. Next I attempted to connect the app to the camera and it failed every time. Then I plugged it into my cpu to see if that might bring different results, but it brings up an error when I plug it into my cpu also. So the camera doesn’t work, the app doesn’t work, and I’ve spent nearly $100 on a product that doesn’t work.
