Since I prefer the sub genre of crime rather than fantasy (sick of Domini and evil beings stealing souls), this storyline was intriguing to me. The protagonist, a widow named Emily, aids the police and then does podcasts about the crimes. In this installment, someone with a medical background is stealing organs and murdering the victims afterwards. It is up to Emily to stop this criminal.
Gameplay was fast-paced and addictive, inventory usage was unique, and there were some innovative HO scenes. The mini-games had a decent variety. Unfortunately, the puzzle where you must create a pattern on a tablet by connecting nodes did not function properly, and it had to be skipped. Also, the game was rather brief, inclusive of the bonus adventure. Hence my rating of 4 stars.
Note to Elephant: in case you’re wondering why your f2p versions are rated so low and you’re not earning as much revenue as you’d like, take some advice from me. My iOS population of gamers (which is very large) won’t ever play these games. They all know that f2p is way more expensive than a one-time game unlock. You would be better off creating more full-length collector’s edition games instead. I can promise you that my gamers will buy ALL of them! In case you haven’t realized it by now, I basically control the HOAG genre on iOS. I took Domini from the brink of bankruptcy to major success, and turned Friendly Fox from developer to distributor, also increasing their player base and revenues. I wheel and deal and I am very good at what I do. So if I am giving you free advice, I suggest you take it.
Note to all gamers: if you want more games from Elephant, take five minutes to rate and review. This developer deserves recognition. Their games are original and exciting, so kindly purchase them and write a review. It doesn’t need to be long, but it needs to be done! Thank you!
