This app used to be my main source for reviewing trailers for movies and seeing what was showing in the theaters around me. Since Covid 19, the movie information in the theaters seems to not be updating. I know that our theaters are open now and showing movies but the movie times are not showing up in the app anymore.

This is awesome. Great for what it is. Only two things to improve. First, the Related option when you get to a movie. You should also have movies like that movie that would be enjoyable to the same audience. Also, you guys need to put ALL thing that apply to your search. Like, I looked up Guardians of the Galaxy, and it came up with vol. 2, so try to put ALL that apply to a search (meaning that it would come up with the first, second, third, and holiday special trailers) also, just saying, maybe put in tv shows like Cobra Kai, that are only on streaming services.

I kindly request you to consider updating and reinventing it to enhance the movie-finding experience. As a devoted Apple fan, I have some suggestions to share:
1. It would be fantastic if the app allowed us to purchase movie tickets directly at the best prices.
2. Additionally, please make it easier to find any movie and provide information on where we can watch it, whether in theaters or on streaming services.
3. Including movie ratings and genres for each film would be immensely beneficial.
4. Lastly, I suggest adding a 'Surprise Me' button, which could suggest movies based on various criteria such as moods or specific time periods like the 90s. Sometimes, it can be challenging to discover a good movie, and this feature could be a game-changer.

Not functioning as intended
I like the trailers functionality itself but the feature which would be most helpful is the favorites feature where you can save a movie you want to see for later but this has never worked for me on iPhone. I can add movies to favorites but can never retrieve them. I just get the spinny icon like it is trying to update but it never does. This has been happening for years over all three of my iPhones. Apparently Apple does not test this feature or you would think they would have found that out. I would absolutely love the app if this worked.

Favorites Empty and Frustrated with Apple Support
This App is great for watching current trailers but when I try to save movies to my favorites the movie favorites page is completely blank. The Theater Favorites does work. The movie trailer says it’s there “Remove From Favorites”. But it’s not! I have deleted the App and reinstalled it repeatedly with no success. This has been at least a year now. I called Apple support with no success to solve this problem. Does anyone else have this issue? I don’t understand why there has been no recent updates to the App.

Always buggy or behind
I love this app and have used it for many years, but there is ALWAYS some sort of bug that prevents me from using the app correctly. The content is usually way behind the times in terms of other trailers already out. The search function is absolutely useless…does not even show a single livid when searching anything. Lastly, the one thing that could make this app better would be an AppleTV+ integration that would allow me to watch my favorites movies through the AppleTV app.

Another good thing that came to an end!
I just recently downloaded this app to keep abreast on the latest movies. I was really impressed with the theater listings. It basically had everything you would need for an app of this type. Then when I was to use this app for almost the first time I found that it was all gone. And replaced with an almost blank screen that says Apple TV with no functionality. I guess they really can’t leave well enough alone!

Apple Update Your Own App!
Last update to the app was 4 years ago now. Still hasn’t even been updated for the 11” iPads from 2018!!! Meanwhile Apple is going to automatically remove apps from the App Store if developers haven’t been keeping them updated. Is Apple going to remove its own app like all the others? My guess is that Apple is going to make an exception for themselves. Reasons like this are why developers grow more and more frustrated. Do better, Apple.

Sad to see this app retired
For over a decade, Trailers has been my #1 source for upcoming movies without concerns for privacy and marketing surveillance…but all good things come to an end? The migration of functionality to the Store portion of the AppleTV app is missing lots of functionality, but hopefully those gaps will be filled in time.

App not working correctly
Probably from around the time of covid when you go to the search option and search something whether you type it or use Siri it will not display whatever you search. Then when searching movie times it will bring up the theaters around me BUT it will not display any times and that is either on the Apple TV or on the iPhone. Assuming they have not updated anything for awhile!
