Nice App but Fees are excessive
I like the features of the app and is helpful in predicting my glucose levels based on bg, carb, and insulin.
I would rate it higher except that my problem is the additional fee which seem to excessive. My insulin and supply expenses are high enough with out another fee. For the features this seems like something that should be a one time purchase fee as I still don’t know what extra services couldn’t be covered by a one time fee.

Most powerful and accurate tool
I have used predictbgl for years. It helped me get my a1c from 14.1 to 5.7. Empower yourself to take control of your diabetes. The coach portion of this program is the gold. When you enter a blood glucose level and carbs eaten, the program compares its prediction to the actual results and gives you immediate feedback as to potential changes in your ratios. This is taking control and giving you and your doctor valuable feedback to adjust your treatment if needed. The program accurately predicts your blood sugar levels for hours into the future. The dose calculator takes into account carb ratios and correction ratios. Impotant things like insulin on board and insulin stacking are prominently displayed. The program does EVERYTHING it says it will do plus so much more. Type 1 ot type 2. On pills or insulin..shots or pump..this program is for all. Very valuable calculations for the impact of sickness, menstruation, alcohol etc is easily set up for your time periods can automatically adjust your insulin doses. Customer service at this company surpasses expectations. They care about their customers. It is well worth the paid features offered in the program.

iPhone app glitch!!
Yes there is no other app like this out there. I’m type 1 and this app is an essential tool for managing my diabetes. (The following is for iPhone app only) I’m writing here because the “email support” function doesn’t work. The app still resets itself to first time it’s opened, I have to go through every welcome screen and “how to” screen before I can actually USE it. Luckily all my data is still there, but this glitch has been there for months! Can you please fix it or re-upload to the App Store the OLD version so it will function properly?

Every T1 Diabetic needs Jade
I’ve been a T1 Diabetic since 1973 , just days before my 8th birthday.
When iPhones came out and BG apps started popping up on the App Store , I tried them all and wasted a lot of time and money. The apps either didn’t do what they said it would, or if it did work, it wasn’t accurate.
Accurate numbers are essential for BG control, and Jade does it well, plus so much more.
I’ve literally tested my BG to compare to my Dexcom G6 and Jade is closer 9 out of 10 times. You can’t get results like that with any other app. Now I don’t even bother looking. This is the one that does it all.

Very helpful when personal data correctly added
Gray AMD thoughtful app made for conscientious type 1 diabetics! I use it daily to assist my dosing challenges!
It provides great guidance on carb ratio calculation and insulin dosing. Trouble is that I seldom eat the same meals or have the same exercise each day so my BG remains a challenge.
I do recommend the app and I purchased it at a 2 years for price of 1 around Christmas time. The developer obviously has to pay for the development and improvements so the price for value is reasonable in my opinion.

App won’t work!
Husband has used Jade for bolus dosing for years, suddenly app stopped working today. He depends on this for his health!
Website giving “804 time out” error message. No access. No tech support! PLEASE HELP!
UPDATE/ RESPONSE: Thank you for the response to the above issue. In the future when you have a system error you could send out an email notification, rather than leaving your users hanging with no idea what to do. This is after all a life safety tool that many diabetics depend upon. Husband loves what your app does for him and have never found another tool that works as well!

Are you looking for the BEST T1D app for you!
Having T1D is hard, but with PedectBGL I think I have finally found the correct diabetes app to help me control my numbers. I think for me the biggest help has been when I am dozing ... the app gives me the BEST suggestion, better than I could estimate. The Predict BGL has been key, in discovering that it is possible to maintain my numbers within range. This is THE app! Best Regards to All, Wren Grigore

Nice app, unaffordable monthly charge
Let’s see, if I pay in 6 month installments, that comes to $130/year, or a little over $12/month, minimum. I may as well be buying a ridiculously expensive app each year. This is definitely not an app for people struggling just to buy their insulin each month. If this were covered under health insurance it would help.
It seems to me to be hand-in-hand with with pharmaceutical companies along with insurance providers taking advantage of the fact people will die without their insulin. Surely that’s not the case.

Kind of annoying
The features are good, but when you tap on the new dosing button, my screen keeps blacking out and it’s really annoying. They really need to update this feature because it prevents me from putting in a new dose. This problem dose not happen on any other app besides this one. I don’t understand why it does that but whatever.

It’s was good until now
This app was great until now. I liked how you could see when you may go low. It can calculate you ratios (carb to insulin). But now it won’t stop asking me to input my settings like I just created my account. It has the potential to be really awesome.
