Great improvements
This iOS application is much better than the previous version, I am impressed by the upgrades. It can be displayed horizontally or vertically. You can open the app with another app side by side. This is helpful for reviewing questions because you can open additional content for notes or explanations outside of the app. It also has the calculator feature, which is not present on the web version of the Kaplan Qbank. You also have the ability to highlight and cross out answer choices with the touch screen. I have not encountered any glitches or problems. I recommend using this app for a great use of your iPad and/or iPhone to complete questions in any location.

Comprehensive & User-Friendly
This app is super user-friendly! It offers a a great simulation of Kaplan’s computer-based testing and tutoring materials for Step 1. You can easily customize your tests by subject, timing and tutor mode. I was impressed by the ease of reading each question on my relatively small phone screen. The explanations include embedded links to videos, which are very useful, and I have not experienced any glitches in loading answers or media. My favorite part of the app is the auto-pause function. If you need to set your phone down or if your screen locks for any reason, your test automatic all pauses and resumes when you reopen the app. This will be great to use on the go.

AMAZING for reviewing for USMLE Step 1
I have only used this once so far for step 1 but I think the way they've designed the app is amazing. LOVE the way it tells you of you changed answers from wrong to right.
They give you both short AND detailed answer explanations and I especially love the "strategy" section of the review where it tells you how you should be approaching the questions.
It also breaks down your strengths and weaknesses by organ system and discipline and gives you little graphs to see the information visually.
It's very easy and intuitive to navigate and gives you the opportunity to practice your questions on the go. Love this app!! So glad I downloaded it - will definitely be using it frequently

How can an app be designed for you to use a Q-Bank & not support a course with a Q-Bank?
If the questions are relatively the same, then there should be access to this app. This app needs to be updated ASAP so the Step 1 24 month Integrative Q-Bank is supported!

Super helpful for Step 1 Prep!
As always, Kaplan has a great streamlined question bank to review exam material. You can customize your quizzes by subject, discipline, number of questions, whether you want it timed, and much more! Explanations were succinct and helped me understand why I got a question wrong (or correct). Definitely recommend for exam prep!!

This is an amazing app that features a whole range of questions on multiple subjects and disciplines that you can edit to help prep for the Step 1. You can even track your progress based on your customized experience. What a great resource!!

Great App Features and Design
This app is very user friendly and helpful when practicing for the USMLE! I love the features included in the review sections of quiz questions - the interactive 3D features and video explanations of content make for easy review and understanding of the topics.
