Collect precious shells - the island's currency - as they wash up on the beach or catch them in your trusty fishing net. Yay passive income! Who needs dollars and coins... shells are the real treasure. Cute and a bit addictive
Been playing a week or so, and enjoying it so far. I like the bits of adult humor tossed in here and there, ads a bit of fun without going too far. Characters feel a bit more rounded, not all being “perfect” personalities.
The shell system seems a bit weird, like the achievements give basically nothing, and relies on ads for the bigger pay offs. Just think if an item costs several hundred shells, the achievement for it should be more than 5. Also all the surveys ask way too personal questions, so I don’t recommend that, especially if you have kids playing this. Not really something the game can control.
Over all, if you’re just casual with it, not seeking to speed through, it is fun to waste some time and enjoy the cute moments. A few ads and poking around the grass will get you some good shells. The lowest shell bundle is .99¢ for a fair amount, and I think that is good if you want to support the game a little bit.

It’s clever and cute but I have suggestions.
I really love the art style and I think the 3D with the 2D is unique and I love the unique characters and there charm. Tho I will agree with other players that there can be something done with the fishing net for collecting shells. Maybe if you save up enough shells you can upgrade your net and get more? Also, maybe there can be unlockable clothing for watching a certain amount of ads or you can pay for them with shells? Just a few suggestions. Otherwise I love the games unique characters and art style, it’s adorable and lovely and it’s a unique concept to. I don’t mind waiting for the shells since I’m patient and usually do other things while passing the time to wait for them, but an hour does seem a bit long and you’ll still get the same number of shells? I can understand how this annoys some people. Also, another thing. When I go fishing at the dock near the home all I get is trash. I rarely get a fish but so far I’ve collected almost 41 trash pieces from fishing alone. Can you please up the fish rate for fishing at the dock near the home? I’m tired of getting trash.

Loving this game so far
I’ve been playing this game for a couple days now and I love it!! I actually love that the game is in real time. I love to check in on my island periodically throughout the day just to see what everyone is up to. I love that you don’t play as a character, you more so just interact with them. I think the concept of characters in game move and play on their own is actually really refreshing because you never know what they will do! It is really cool buying things from the shop and waiting to see what Kiki will do with it. I also greatly appreciate all the ways to get shells in this game. Most games I have found, if you want something cool or if you don’t want to spend a week grinding for in game money, you have to spend “real” money and it gets frustrating. The artwork is absolutely adorable and I actually really like that there is some “mature” content. Makes the characters more relatable and less meh and bland. I think it’s hilarious. One of the most entertaining games I have found in a really really long time. My absolute new favorite!!

Not just this game
This developer GETS mobile games. In a market flooded with the same three games rehashed — strategy battle games, idle clickers, and match games — these games are: a) aesthetically and artistically-pleasing, without feeling derivative and kitschy b) not overly demanding of my time or money in order to be able to enjoy them. Every day, I go back to an island for shells and explore a little bit, bake some buns, or throw some ingredients into a cauldron in three separate apps from this developer and then I’m productive in my day after I had my fun. It’s not another grinding game where you stare at the same game for hours without end and forget you have something to do. And microtransactions aren’t a wall; you can get nice premiums and/or regular game items quicker if you pay, but it does not demand money to be able to enjoy the game; mostly just patience.

A Masterpiece
I’ve downloaded many games like this, which make you leave for a while but come back. Of course, with this, you can grind but it’s hard. Anyways, most of these types of games are cute and fun for about a week. Games sort of like *cough cough Neko Atsume cough*. But this games cute and simple style has been the first to compel me to come back for more. And, on top of cute, the characters are too funny and unique. I’ve yet to unlock the beach and future characters but so far, all of them are fab. There’s Remy, *the* cutest frog you’ll ever see, Gogo the fitness freak, Gigi the self promotion/relaxation freak, Daisy the rude, funny ant eater ( I assume), Chad the poor alligator who cannot surf because I do not have that many shells yet, and my FAVORITE! Boaris! My god, Boaris my junk food baby, what can I say. All in all, wonderful. My only request is that you make the cost of cleaning the beach lower. But if you’re looking to download this, do it. I’m watching you, and you aren’t clicking it. CLICK DOWNLOAD. :D

Adorable story and keeps drawing me back in!
I’ve been playing and enjoying the game for a couple days now! Most often games lose my attention very quickly but not this one. Very happy with most hyperbeard games to be honest. I have experienced one problem with the task list. I still have the mission to get a jump rope and talk to Gogo despite having done so and having the picture post to prove it and now it seems I can’t progress Gogo’s story. Each time I talk to her she tells me to check out with Tiki. Not too much of a concern right now with there being so much more to do but I hope that gets fixed soon. It’s also a tiny bit frustrating to go days without having the chance to buy an item I need for a certain storyline which I understand helps to provide balance in the game to a degree but is still a tiny bit of a drag. Not gonna make me stop playing of course :D

The first two months were great, but the past month it’s not given me anything new in the shop even though there’s items I still need from there. I’ve watched an ad only to have the same items appear every time or one different item that is still one I don’t need and already have multiples of in my inventory
It said the rescue boat would come back, I went to sleep and it was gone. It’s not come back also for at least a month. This is the only thing on my task list and it won’t give me anymore, so I’m kind of stuck till whenever it comes back
It let me claim the reward for completing all the Boris tasks, but I don’t have the lobster one yet. He has the ❗️over his head everyday, but even when I have all 10 fish in my inventory all I can do is order fries from him and sell him the fish.
I’m not sure if all this is normal or if my game is messed up, that’s why I’m rating 2 stars. The game was really fun at first, so it’s disappointing I’ve not been able to do anything for so long besides triggering the random photos

It let me claim the reward for completing all the Boris tasks, but I don’t have the lobster one yet. He has the ❗️over his head everyday, but even when I have all 10 fish in my inventory all I can do is order fries from him and sell him the fish.
I’m not sure if all this is normal or if my game is messed up, that’s why I’m rating 2 stars. The game was really fun at first, so it’s disappointing I’ve not been able to do anything for so long besides triggering the random photos

Normally i’d rate this game 5 stars; it’s super fun, cute, a good way to lose time, and fun. I honestly love it. However, I hadn’t had the time to go on these past few days and now suddenly my gold membership is taken away?? With no mention of it at all or being told it would be limited. Very irritating considering it’s 1,000 shells. Things in this game are pricy but there are multiple ways to get shells however, it can take a couple days to get to 1,000 if you’re not willing to spend real money on the game. Unlike everything else i’ve bought in the game none of it has been taken away without notice. The hotel is worth the 1,000 shells and which is why I payed for it but to have an upkeep is honestly ridiculous. I hope this is just a bug because if not it’s very disappointing.

I like it but...
I think this game can be really fun. I really like the art style, it's really cute. There are some problems though.
1.) I don't like how there's drinking and smoking, especially the smoking part. Yeah, it's a 12+ rating, but still, that's not a great excuse. I see it as promoting alcohol and drugs, which is definitely not a plus.
2.) Once you get to meet the raccoon that hangs out by the trash can at night, you can give him trash and you get shells back. For me I don't ever get shells. I give the trash, and I see the little shells fly up to corner where your shells go, but the number never increases.
3.) Things can get kinda boring. I've had this game for about 2 months now and nothing huge has really happened. I met Mumu the cow, and she's been living with me for a whole month, but that's it. I'm sure her story continues, but it's taking a very long time. Sure, there's the bartender mini game, but that's it, and it's not that fun. You can go around and talk to people, but they all just say the same things back, over and over.

favorite game!
This game is the perfect thing to play when you feel like zoning out in a line, or bored in class and want to just play something fun and casual. It’s got so much personality and I’m always excited when I see a new item in the shop. One thing that’s been happening to me is I feel like the game gets stuck? like I’ll get people asking me to give them the same item over and over, or asking me the same question but never furthering the story ( axolotl pirates, woodpicker girl, and niko ) but besides that, this game is my all time favorite and it’s so endearing!!! I especially love the little Halloween vibe that happens at night :) you should definitely play this game if you want something with the perfect amount of casual gameplay and story! I love Kiki’s vacation!
