Love it!
I rarely have all good things to say about a game. Yes, there’s a few glitches along the way and if you’re really fast, sometimes the game can’t keep up. I played Kitchen Scramble years ago and loved it and Kitchen Scramble 2 has really improved from the first one. There are NO ads. How many games can you say that about? It doesn’t bother you incessantly to buy things you don’t want. You move quickly and you earn enough game money during game play to actually upgrade your items without having to play the same level a million times. You get a decent amount of gems, which I haven’t had to use yet. It’s a well rounded and well thought out game that is fun and can be played by all ages. I love it.

I’ve played the first Kitchen Scramble for years and I’ve loved it, despite bugs and glitches that have occurred along the way.
The new version is fun, I like that you can watch videos to double your coins or get second chances. I also really like that you only lose hearts if you lose a level. It’s nice not having to use supplies and having to wait for them to regenerate to keep playing.
This one also has a few issues that aren’t great. There’s no three item carry (so far) so I hope that’s an option at some point. Especially after getting used to the first version, you get used to picking up three items and only two slows you down. Also, some items have a tiny, tricky click area and you click many times without picking it up. The worst is that once an item is put down somewhere, you cannot pick it up again. If you’re playing quickly and accidentally set the wrong item down, you’re forced to hurry and make something with it so you can then make what you intended.
Overall, first version is way better. Now that the first version has changed to requiring fewer supplies per level and I can play longer, I think I’ll just stick with that one.

The first one was one of my favorite mobile games. There’s things I like more and don’t.
I like the animation on this one more, I like that you don’t lose hearts unless you lose the round. I like that the cookbook shows up in game instead of having to pause and look. I even love that it has the same music as the first.
I don’t like that their happiness doesn’t go up some if you give an item they’re requesting. I don’t like the three rounds per level, I think I prefer the you get three stars by doing the max for the level. Love kitchen scramble
I played the first version for years, then finally I got tired of it. This one, I finished all the levels in about 3 weeks. Pros: same funny game, better graphics, love you can see the recipes right there, loved getting real time updates for food and appliances (probably why I completed it so quickly), videos for extra seconds was awesome. Cons: I’m done. Had to tap tap tap sometimes.

Ok so here’s what I gotta say.
I like the concept of this game. I love all the different levels and types of dishes you can make and everything but...I don’t have fun playing this game anymore because you have made it so much harder to earn money to update ingredients and appliances. I gotta watch ads, or spend real money to get more cash and I’m not even on level 10 yet. It’s like as good as I am at this game I won’t make enough money through speed and sequence skill. I have to watch a 30 second ad to double my cash so I can upgrade everything on every single level. Not fun anymore. Shame on you developers. I hope you’re enjoying all the money you take from us with your ads and rigging this game to make it less enjoyable. Thanks a lot.

This game is really fun but there are a few glitches. When upgrading an item, it offers another upgrade in the confirmation window even after it has been fully upgraded. Also, the hearts (lives) don’t revive are glitchy. Sometimes I don’t lose a heart even when I lose a level which is great! Other times when I lose all hearts, I have to go out of the app & back in for the timer on the hearts to actually start working. Then I can close it Once I ran out & left it overnight. Still no hearts! But since I was back into the game, then the hearts started coming back.

I loved the first game, but the bugs and glitches made it so i couldn’t even play it anymore. I am loving having it back in my life! And this version is pretty good. I wish you could grab new ingredients rather than having to put them back and then grab new ones, but maybe this is just added to make the game better.
I’m experiencing a glitch right now where I’m not earning any lives by waiting. I haven’t been able to play for about two hours because it keeps saying that I have no lives? I even watched it countdown from :33 on the clock, and when it rolled over to another 29:59, there was no new life. :( Please help?

Good, but needs more
I am an avid fan of the first Kitchen Scramble, and have stuck with it even with all of the super frustrating glitches. I like the new version so far, but I don’t love it as much as the first, and I’m not really sure why! Maybe because it’s missing a story line?There is just something missing... I do like that you don’t lose lives until you lose a level. PLEASE FIX: we can’t pick up items that we have put down in the wrong place. This seriously messed me up a few times. And we need a holding plate!

Fun Game
I like this game better than the first version. I would have given it five stars except I have a couple of issues. First of all, I’ve been done with all of the levels plus the bonus holiday level. I finished them 2 days ago and I’m getting game withdrawals! When is the new level going to be released? Secondly, when you accidentally put the wrong ingredient in the pot/pan/cutting board/appliance, why can’t you take it back? I lost many rounds because of this and it’s so frustrating! Other than that, this game is fun.

Actually a cooking game
This was and still is the only “cooking” game that actually involves following recipes instead of just plopping a hamburger and a soda on a tray or whatever. I don’t know why people want to play all those games where you’re essentially a cashier.
Anyway, as someone who loved the first game, this version is still a lot of fun. I kind of miss there being a storyline though, even if it was really cheesy.
