For Serious Cooking Game Players!
While I do rate games, it’s not often I write a review, but I thought it was important here. This is definitely in my top three of cooking games EVER! Yes, it is hard and if you are not looking for a serious challenge, this is not the game for you. I see that many other players were tough on their reviews stating that you HAVE to spend money to play this game. I do not think that is true. I will say that some levels I did have to play for days, but eventually I did beat it, while others, I just wanted to be done with and spent the 6 in game dollars to get through. I feel that there are many cooking games out there that basically beg us to spend real money, so lumping this one in there seems like an easy jump. In my opinion, the developers put it in place as merely an option.
With that said, to the developers, I would like to request one thing. To players like myself that don’t maintain a large Facebook presence or have friends that play games...is it possible to do what many of the other games do? Recommend friends inside the game every “so-many” hours so we could exchange/send premium items? This way people that actually play the game could become friends with one another?
Thanks so much and to those struggling, just keep practicing, replaying the levels and saving your bucks if you don’t want to spend real money. :)

Since my last review my opinion has changed due to how they made up for the issues I had. I ended up getting my game restored and they compensated me for what all happened. I do love this game very, very much! I have been passed every level and always end up checking for updates continuously when waiting for new levels. I love the updates they have made with getting dollars and the mini game levels to get even more money to use. This game used to be a money pit, but they have made it to where I don’t have to spend as much money like before. I love cooking games and this one is by far the best one and the only one I have played without getting burnt out!

Better graphics, but slow and crashes
I like the premise of the game. The graphics are better than the original. But the game crashes a lot. It's also slow. The game freezes a lot while I'm playing, which is annoying. When it crashes you lose energy. It takes forever to earn cash. You can only get 1 cash a day by watching ads, and sometimes the ads don't work and you have to restart the game. The thief is cheap and has stolen things out of my hands. Food should be safe if it's in your hand or in the holding tray. The Groot customer leaves before his happiness goes all the way down. He leaves even while you're handing him food or he takes away a customer you just gave food to. The scientist makes things so slow and there's no way to placate him. It shouldn't slow down equipment as much as it does, which seems to be about 3-4 times slower. The equipment is inexplicably slower in the challenge rounds. I like a challenge, but these obstacles make some rounds impossible. This does not make me want to play or pay for this game. Contacting tech support does nothing. in round 603, either not enough customers order the dish or I don't make enough money, even with a premium ingredient. I had 6/8 order the particular dish and the last two orders were for the dish needed to advance. I thought I would finally beat the level, because 6+2=8, right? Not in this game. It said I only served 7/8 of the required dish. That's why I'm giving it 1 star.

Finally!!!!...
Finally an awesome game that you do not have to pay a bunch of $ to finish!! I do not mind making in-app purchases (we do all of the time) ..but I do not like having to pay to continue! This game is great...We love it! We never even tried the first one. I am trying it now! Thank you for creating a wonderful game & keeping it realistic!!

Edit: Also, I am not sure what level I am currently at because I started the Christmas levels (We really live them by the way!) ..but if you keep trying without premium ingredients, you can get it. It gets frustrating sometimes but what fun would it be without the challenge?! Sometimes, I have used premium ingredients, failed, went back & did not use any & passed! Even if you do "have" to have them for some, it is no big deal..it does not cost a ton to buy some extras. There are pretty good bundle deals! :)

The passion for gaming is gone!!
What happened to developers making games out of passion? Why is everything about money? They crest these beautiful themes, vibrante colors, amazing detailed food dishes to make us want to play to only spend money. I get it, business is business, but you’ll make more money making the game fun, and addictive with an incentive of wanting people to play more and more. Most people are on budgets, do you REALLY think they will choose, bread, paying their electric bill for paying add-ins for this day.
WAKE UP DEVELOPERS, overall turn around will give you and the player exactly what they want, a fun, free games, (with an actually chance to pass levels) and with cheap easy add-on’s. Rome wasn’t built in a day, just like I’m sure you all worked hours building this game. It’s your baby, and it because our go to game, so keep it that way. You start making things to hard and expensive your “baby gets traded for something else, especially in this new generation. I’m older, but I can’t pass level 23 because she’s just not fast enough, and even if I wanted to upgrade I can’t till level 91 or something... come on guys! Make this game great again! Please!

LOVE/HATE RELATIONSHIP
At first I really loved this game. An update washed away all my progress (years ago) and I deleted it. Then, I missed it and decided to download it again. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the special holiday levels (Halloween, Thxgiving, Xmas). BUT after that it took soooooo long for a new version to come out and when it finally did, it was all with the SAME ingredients from the previous version just with different ways of making the SAME dish! It’s been downhill from there. I seriously borderline HATE this game now. The only reason I still play is because at its best it really is fun. But at its worst, it is way more difficult than it needs to be. For instance, if I have to serve 9 people/dishes why does the game only send 4-5? I’m not spending one red dime of my own money for this AND taking DAYS UPON DAYS to finish ONE level only to have to do it all over again a few levels later is getting REALLY OLD. Also, I just realized that if you finish a level with 1 or 2 stars and want to replay it for more stars, the passing score increases making it even MORE DIFFICULT TO PASS! I feel the day coming when I will finally delete this game for good. By the way, I’m on level 441.

I've even spent plenty of *real* money on it for premium upgrades (like 2 ovens) and was happy to buy the forever-300 energy increase. I enjoy the game enough to support the company developing it - but within reason. I can't afford to spend money on EVERY 4th-level upgrade and several 3rd-level upgrades so I prioritize and do what I can - but it seems like it's never enough! Currently in the 290s, I have struggled to pass most of the levels. No, not 3-star them, just PASS them... and it tells me crap like "Upgrade your work board and try again!" Sure - just give us money for the work board and we might help you pass the level. Then more money for the mixer like it suggested when I struggled to pass the prior level. Grr.
So yes, it's a fun game. But be prepared to spent a LOT of money on it... or be very frustrated.

One of my top 3 favorites but...
I love this game and I have spent a lot of money on this thing.... too much! I gave it 3 stars because after a certain point if you don’t spend money you’re not advancing. On the levels that make you get a certain amount of one type of dish or serve a certain customer so many times, they don’t give you even half of that certain customer or dish! I have made 3 times the amount of money you need to beat the level and have only served 2 of that certain dish or customer! Frankly, that’s BS! I understand making the game challenging but it’s impossible unless you spend money. I’ve had to spend 12 game dollars on one level just to get the extra customers to beat the level. Then these new customers that change what your fixing or steal items or that stupid barking dog, you could at least put those customers on the easy levels. Anyway, i dont expect it to be all easy but I shouldn’t have to spend $40 to beat 3 levels, that’s craziness!!

This game is a Rip off
Please DO NOT waste your time or money on this game. I have played this game for quite a long time and it gets worse every time I finish each level. The person that I email my problems to (Yvonne Lee???) seems to have NO CLUE as to how this game is played. I’m tired of having to send an email requesting the chef hats that I EARNED every time I finish the challenge levels! PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS GAME! You’ll be HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!! After receiving a response from the developer of this game, I decided to update my review so that all players of this game will know the real truth!!! I was questioned about the number of fruit baskets I had (go figure) and responded: “I’m not going to keep debating this issue with you!! As I’ve said in previous messages to you, I have no reason to lie or cheat!! I’ve been playing in this game for a long time and I’ve never had to go back and forth like this over CHEF HATS!!! As much as I’ve enjoyed this game, I will not continue to deal with this pettiness!!! I will not renew my subscription after it ends on August 8th. Your customers will eventually know the caliber of your integrity... it is disgusting!!!”

Fun but will cost you
This game is fun and very challenging. Just know that when you get to the upper levels you will have to drop some cash. And, I don’t mean level 290: I mean at level 50 or so. Certain levels will not let you pass unless you have bought premium ingredients, I don’t care how many times you play it. Even if you play it perfectly you will not get through. I even upgraded my shoes x2 to make her go faster didn’t seem to make much of a difference. Also on some levels the better you play the less patient the customers are and eventually it will have you make the same thing over and over again so you can’t keep up. Seems like a cheap way to set you up for failure. Moral of the story: you have to buy upgrades to pass. Granted the prices on this game are not as bad as some I’ve seen but, if you don’t want to spend money stay away. If you can spend some it is a fun challenging little game. Just know that the funny money you buy does not last long.
