KNBR Hack 12.0.0 + Redeem Codes

Keep getting a "stream connection error: stream failed to start. you do not have permission to access the requested resource." Seems like they're not keeping up with the different phone updates to ensure streaming will happen for the listener. commercials are too long when you open the ap. and there is a good 20-30 second delay. how is it that we can get twitch to match up with the radio but not this?? disappointing.

I know KNBR is hurting and trying to monetize their product by pulling pods off Apple Podcasts but can you make a more user u friendly app? If you want to put a commercial in an podcast fine but continually stopping a pod ruins the enjoyment of the interview. How many commercials do you expect people to listen to in a 10 min interview and the break points are terrible. Also when starting a pod the ads are ghetto and it’s hard to figure out how to close the ad. It’s like I was transported to the annoying internet from

I use the app to stream radio & Giants games. Before streaming the Giants sucked & now it’s almost great but works well enough.

Suggestions: Culd be better if I didn’t have to change steeams fr. KNBR to a Giants game or back & endure ANOTHER 30 second ad..

Also could improve to be informed when either broadcast is ending instead of abrubt changes to undesired content like to ESPN radio or some pre-recorded content.

Glad to have Giants games available again, was quite pointless without them. However please fix the ads. Many of them are not clear on where to click to close them or in the case of the Lenovo/Temu combined ad, have an x that seems to be where we are supposed to click but it doesn’t work meaning I have to close the app and hope for a different ad to get the app to work…

The podcasts are good.

The app will often just stop playing though. If it’ll play a podcast, it’ll play just one and then you have to close the program in order to play another because it just freezes.

Love KNBR but the actual app is subpar. The playback is actually more consistent if you open a browser and play it from the web on your phone.

Freezes often, constant pop up ads, long “into” commercials… it just functions poorly. If I listen for three hours, for example, I’ll have to restart the app about 10 times. It actually makes me STOP listening and stop following them.

I love listening to Giants games on this but the actual app was sub par to say the least. However, after these updates everything seems so much more cleaner and quicker. Would recommend getting

Every time I use the app the stream will stop and repeat the last ~30 seconds at least 1 time within the first few minutes of listening. This will happen regularly throughout listening. I’ve never won a call-in contest because I’m so late to call in due to this delay.

The amount of advertisements in this app detract from the overall purpose of the app. Often times ads will play automatically over other audio that is playing, and you will miss content. I understand the need to capitalize on streaming, but this is too far.

I understand that you guys need ads to support the app, but can they not be the sketchiest possible ads? Every time I open the stream I get some fake activation link masquerading as a requirement to access the stream. That’s literally the definition of false advertising and it’s an extremely bad look for KNBR.
