Didn’t work initially- content was blacked out
I’ve tried to use this twice for the. crew Mission Deep Sea. After downloading content the links to tutorial and music disappear and can’t select anything. I tried again and same thing happened. Weird.
Updated: after reading another comment/fix from the developer, I closed a lot of apps and reloaded the content and it plays now. So other glitchy than memory management(?) issues it seems to be a nicely produced overview of the game. I’ve revised my rating.

Good but needs a fix
I love playing Exit the game and have done several. The app adds great ambience!
However there is a glaring issue. Once we finish the game and get our score, we get a page with three options: Share, Back, and the Home button. There is no way to save our data and score with these options. We can share it (data is not saved), go back and select how many hints we used (data is not saved) or hit the home button in which a screen pops up saying that we won’t be able to save our data if we continue and leave the game. We can choose to go back to the previous screen with the options that get us nowhere. Hmmm. This is a big issue if I want to save my scores in the app along with the games I have already played. Is there anyway I can save my scores?

Didn’t work for Kidnapped in Fortune City
After pressing the play button for the intro video, nothing happened. I could press pause, but nothing ever started playing. The timer did start.
The mini games were…uninteresting. I was hoping for something that would be like anything I’ve experienced in an EXIT game. Nope.
Perhaps it will work for other versions of other games. We’ve done almost all the EXIT games save two or three, but this was the first time wi through the atmospheric soundtrack would be nice. That wasn’t even offered for this game version
Disappointing product from a company whose EXIT games have made our pandemic experience much more enjoyable due to the challenging fun for the whole family.

Latest Update Won’t Install
UPDATE DECEMBER 7th, 2022:
I turned my phone off and then turned it back on again. Went back into the App Store and was able to successfully download the most recent update for this app.
Here on December 7th, 2022, the latest App Store update for this app doesn’t install. It just hangs and won’t install. When I click the square button inside the circle to stop it, that doesn’t do anything either. Not sure what’s going on, but the update is not installing or working correctly at all.

Great game, ok app left with much potential
These games are our favorite. We have done a few and have more purchased waiting to be played. The app is just kinda ok though. We enjoy the timer and ambient music however, it feels like there’s more that could be done with the app to make it more interactive (be able to click on “next page” perhaps for slightly different music or effects. Heck we would probably pay a small app fee for it. Would be fun to see it expanded!

Enjoyable addition to the game!
Used this for the Exit escape games. I love that it isn’t a requirement for the games but just adds some nice sound affects and the timer. I did see some people said the sound doesn’t work for them. The phone cannot be on silent or the music doesn’t play. The only thing I would like to add to the app is storing your time and stars so you can go back in the app and see how well you did.

Excellent after reading through instruction
The app walks a group of players through game play in a simple with excellent instructions format. We found it was excellent after we had read through the instruction book and played a couple of rounds of the game before hand. Helped to answer a few questions that came up during our initial game play. Excellent resource and a explanation.

Regarding Soundtrack
Soundtracks added to the overall fun and atmosphere!! We have already played through the castle, orient express, and Egypt exit rooms. Can’t wait for the next one!
Fyi: If your phone is on silent mode, you have to turn that feature off in order to hear the music. Turning your volume up or down while on silent mode will do nothing. Took me a moment to figure it out :))

Why don’t you save??
I love the EXIT games and I’ve done almost all of them by now and we always use this app while we play to enhance the experience and I do really like that part. What I don’t understand is why the app doesn’t save your data so you can go back and see how many stars/how long it took/how many clue cards you used. Or maybe even a little note section where you can jot your thoughts after the game. Just seems like a big missed opportunity.

Unable to Use Features!

I downloaded the app today to use the music while our family played. And for some reason after it says it has downloaded, the features do not appear! The app just says there are no features! We were really looking forward to having the ambience!
